"Hehe… like father, like son."
With that, he turned into black mist and disappeared.
"What…?"
I stood there, completely bewildered—until another system notification rang out.
Ting.

"Wait… what is going on today?" I muttered. "Three system notifications in a single day?"
Ray laughed at my reaction. "You should be proud, you know. You just experienced magic for the first time. You recognize the Secret Art: Doppelganger, right?"
"Yes, I do," I replied. "It's the secret art of the Jenorva family. My father isn't proficient in Doppelganger, so it must be—"
"Your uncle," Ray interrupted. "It's your first time meeting him, isn't it?"
"Yes… it is. But I think he's been coming here before—just in ways I couldn't detect."
"Isn't he the master of an information guild?"
"Yes," I said. "I wonder why he came here."
"That's not our concern," Ray replied.
"Right…"
I continued walking toward my room.
Just as I was about to open the door—
"Boo."
"Ah—!"
I flinched as someone suddenly appeared behind me.
"Teacher… didn't I tell you not to approach me like that?" I said, slightly annoyed.
"Hm, you did," he replied calmly. "But didn't I also tell you not to call me 'teacher'? Raviel is fine."
He handed me a small bottle.
"Take this. Recovery pills. One every day after training."
"Okay," I said, taking it.
"Training starts in the afternoon. Don't slack off until then."
"I won't."
He lightly patted my head before disappearing into thin air.
I sighed and pushed open the door.
Inside, Aamon and Aiden were already there, along with another person—Paula, my maid.
Aamon was calmly drinking tea, while Paula was feeding Aiden porridge.
"Young Master, would you like some tea?" Paula asked politely.
"Yes," I replied.
