Irene hooked her arm through the man's a little too tightly, losing control for a moment. Her gaze slowly shifted to the side and, sure enough, Asher Land was there too.
The waiter was still in front of her trying to persuade her, saying every nice thing he could think of, basically telling them to go to another restaurant.
Asher Land's expression was indifferent and remote. A cold sneer rose in Irene's heart as she walked straight around the waiter and headed in their direction.
"Miss, you can't go over there." The waiter stubbornly blocked her way.
"Those are all my friends over there. Move." Irene swept a cold glance over the person blocking her, speaking with a touch of arrogance.
Hearing they were her friends, the waiter could only back away awkwardly to the side.
"What friends? We don't know her at all." Eva Miller cleared her throat and spoke to the waiter. Sure enough, after hearing Eva's words, the waiter was about to go "drive" Irene away again.
