Melody Nelson carefully dialed Brandan Hyde's phone number on her own phone.
After three rings, it was picked up.
"Brother-in-law!"
Melody was overjoyed, quickly shouting out.
"Who is this…?"
A gentle female voice came from inside, "Who are you looking for?"
Melody was stunned upon hearing that female voice.
She turned her head to look at Nathan Nelson, covering the receiver and said to him, "Nathan, you didn't get the phone number wrong, did you? A woman answered."
Nathan paused for a moment, "It can't be wrong, it's definitely this number."
Upon hearing this, Melody's expression turned serious, she released the receiver and spoke into the phone, "Hello, I'm Melody Nelson, may I ask where the owner of this phone number is right now?"
"You're looking for Brandan?" the gentle female voice said, "He has gone out for something. If you have a message for him, I can pass it along."
Melody's voice became slightly agitated: "Who are you?!"
