The howling winds of Mt. Coronet's summit shrieked a mournful tune, a prelude to the cataclysm unfolding. A colossal, raging elemental tornado, born from the furious dance of Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, tore through the sacred peak.
It was a tempest of raw power, a maelstrom that had already swept away the Sinnoh Gym Leaders and the mighty Flint, leaving them battered and unconscious on lower ledges. Now, only two figures remained standing against its destructive might, their Pokémon shielding them valiantly.
Cynthia, the stoic Champion, stood her ground, her gaze unwavering as her elegant Enamorus, a vision of floral grace, pulsed with ethereal energy, deflecting the gusting winds. Beside her, Azure emanated a quiet resolve.
Perched on his shoulder, his loyal Pikachu, ears twitching, crackled with suppressed electricity. On his head, a fluffy Eevee nervously flattened its fur, while tucked into his jacket, a tiny Pichu (Mew) had its small ears peeking out.
Around them, Azure's legends, the fiery Entei and the shadowy Darkrai, formed an impenetrable barrier, their combined might stemming the tide of the unnatural storm. They remained on guard, eyeing Cyrus hatefully.
Across the ravaged landscape, amidst the swirling debris and crackling energy, stood Cyrus. Alone. Bruised. Burnt...
Yet, his eyes burned with an unyielding, almost maniacal, determination.
He scowled at Azure and Cynthia, his lips twisting into a sneer. He rasped, his voice raw from the altitude and the strain, "You think you've won? That you've cornered me? Don't flatter yourselves. I'll not be played for a fool, not again."
He gestured dismissively towards their greater scheme. Tricking him into handing over his own Pokémon and waves of enemies to weaken him.
He raised a defiant fist towards the elemental maelstrom. Cyrus screamed as he gave out commands, "These trivialities were but a distraction. My true forces, my instruments of a new world, stand ready. Landorus! Thundurus! Tornadus! End them! Erase them from my perfect world!"
The three Legendary Pokémon, their forms crackling with amplified power, seemed to heed his call, their tornado intensifying, threatening to engulf everything. But before they could fully unleash their destructive fury…

… the ground beneath Azure began to tremble. A low rumble echoed through the summit, growing in intensity.

Three massive, ancient Pokémon erupted from the earth, their forms imposing and resolute. Regice, a colossal golem of pure ice, shimmered with frozen power. Registeel, a formidable titan of metallic alloy, gleamed with unyielding strength.
And Regirock, a titan of jagged stone, radiated raw, earthy power. Azure, standing tall amidst his emerging guardians, clutched a pristine Master Ball in his hand, a confident smirk playing on his lips.
Azure called out, his voice clear and resonant even over the storm, "My apologies, Cyrus. But your 'genies' will be very, very busy."

With a flourish, he tossed the Master Ball high into the swirling air. It shimmered, then burst open in a flash of brilliant light, revealing a truly ancient force as Regigigas roared, "ROOOO-GIGAS! (WHO DO I FIGHT!)"

The titanic Regigigas, the creator of the Regi Trio, materialized with a thunderous roar. Its eyes glowed with ancient energy, its immense frame radiating an aura of unstoppable power as it landed, causing the land to shake.
Azure commanded, his voice ringing with authority, "Regi Trio! Attack!"
Regigigas moved with surprising speed, its massive form accelerating as its 'Slow Start' ability began to wane, rushing headlong towards Landorus, its mighty fists already glowing with an impending Mega Punch.
*SLAM*
Azure's Entei, a magnificent beast of fire, let out a defiant roar, "GRRRROOOOAR! (It's time for vengeance, villain!!)"
*Zoooom*
Entei soon followed Regigigas, its blazing mane trailing like a comet, setting its sights on Thundurus. Darkrai, the shadowy nightmare Pokémon, remained steadfast by Azure's side, its wispy form shimmering ominously. Cyrus, seeing his grand plan for eliminating the human elements of the problem being circumvented, growled in frustration.
He spat in frustration and roared, "You insolent child! You think your mere titans can stop me? Darkrai! Use Dark Void! Put them all into an eternal sleep!"
Cyrus's Darkrai, a creature of pure nightmare, surged forward, its claws extending, black orbs of sleeping energy forming, "DARK-RAI!"
But Azure's own Darkrai, ever vigilant, moved faster.
Azure ordered, "Darkrai, Dark Void!"
Azure's Darkrai mirrored the attack, unleashing its own Dark Void. Azure's Darkrai said solemnly, "I apologize for this, my fellow Kin. But you shall not pass!!"

*FWOOSH-CLASH*
The two spheres of darkness collided in mid-air—canceling each other out in a ripple of distorted space. Then, with an almost imperceptible nod from Cynthia, Enamorus surged forward, her graceful form circling Cyrus's Darkrai.
*Woooosh*
She pulsed with vibrant, fairy-tale energy, her gaze fixed on the shadow Pokémon. Azure's Darkrai, seeing the opening, pressed its advantage, unleashing a flurry of Dark Pulses, driving Cyrus's Darkrai away from the trainers, engaging it in a sky-high ballet of shadows and light alongside Enamorus.
Cyrus was now truly alone, devoid of any Legendary Pokémon to immediately summon to deal with the trainers. His face contorted in a sneer of pure rage. He still had his aces, though. He had to stall.
Stall for his Legends, locked in brutal combat with Azure's forces in the background, to emerge victorious. Then, he would deal with these nuisances himself.
He snarled, his hand already reaching for his belt, "Very well! If you wish to face my true power, so be it! Magnezone! Probopass! Eliminate them!"
*POP*
*CLICK—CLANG*
Two Poké Balls burst open, and with a metallic clang, Magnezone, a complex array of magnets and eyes, hummed with electric energy, its three units whirring.
Besides it, Probopass, a sentient compass rock with smaller 'Mini-Noses' floating around its head, emitted a low, magnetic field. Azure, calm as ever, smiled faintly. He said calmly, "Pikachu, let's go!"
Pikachu, his cheeks sparking, leaped from Azure's shoulder, a faint glow around him as his [Light Ball] amplified his power, "PIKAAA! (Finally! Been waiting for a good fight!)"
Cynthia, her eyes narrowing at Cyrus's desperate move, called out, "Garchomp! Show them the might of a Champion!"
*POP*
Her Alpha Garchomp, an imposing land shark Pokémon, burst forth from its Poké Ball, a fierce growl rumbling in its chest, "GRAAAH! (It's payback, bastard!)"
The [Garchompite] on her neck pulsed faintly, foreshadowing her latent power. Cyrus sneered as he ordered, "Probopass! Tri-Attack!"
Probopass launched a trio of elemental bolts—red, blue, and yellow—streaking towards Pikachu and Garchomp, "PROBOOO-PAASSSS!"

Garchomp let out a roar, not bothering to dodge, "GRAHHH! (Tch. Weakling…)"
With a swift, powerful swing of her claw, she struck the incoming Tri-Attack!

The bolts dispersed into harmless energy, the sheer force of Garchomp's attack shattering them. Cyrus ordered, "Magnezone! Tri-Attack!"
Magnezone retaliated instantly, its metallic body humming louder, firing a potent beam of energy at the duo, "MAG-NEEE-ZONE!"
Cynthia commanded, quick to counter the tactic, "Garchomp, Flamethrower!"

Garchomp inhaled deeply, then unleashed her own roaring jet of fire. The two attacks collided mid-air…

Magnezone responded, shimmering into a defensive barrier just as Garchomp's Flamethrower, now redirected, slammed into it. The barrier held but vibrated violently from the attack, feeling the heat. Azure commanded, his eyes gleaming, "Pikachu, Extreme Speed, then Feint! Break that barrier!"
Pikachu vanished in a blur, a yellow streak across the ground as he cried out, "PIKAA-CHUUUU! (On it, partner!)"

*WHUMP-CRACK*
He slammed into the shimmering Protect barrier with the force of Extreme Speed, then, before it could fully register the impact, performed Feint. The barrier shattered with a sound like splintering glass, leaving Magnezone and Probopass vulnerable.
*WHOOSH-CRACKLE*
Garchomp's redirected Flamethrower, still raging, engulfed the exposed Pokémon. Both metallic Pokémon shrieked in pain, their bodies glowing cherry red from the intense heat, "MAG-NEE! PRO-BOO!"
Cyrus's eyes widened in disbelief, then narrowed into slits of pure hatred. He barked, "Hyper Beam! Both of you! NOW!"
Dazed but defiant, Magnezone and Probopass charged their most potent attack, "MAG-NEEE-ZONE! PROBO-PASS!"
*Shiii—PEWWW*
A swirling, orange orb of pure energy formed between Magnezone's eyes, and Probopass's Mini-Noses glowed with destructive power. Twin Hyper Beams, thick as tree trunks, erupted, converging on the swiftly retreating Pikachu.
Cynthia, seeing the devastating attack, tensed, about to order Garchomp to intervene. But Azure's calm, almost serene expression halted her. He didn't betray a hint of panic. He simply raised a hand, a small, knowing smile on his face.
Azure's voice was steady, unwavering as he commanded, "Pikachu, Full Counter! Show them the power of reflection!"
Pikachu, still in motion, spun rapidly, "PIKAA-CHUUUUUU!"
His tail began to glow, first with a soft, ethereal blue, then with a vibrant, emerald green. These weren't just any glows; they were Light Screen and Reflect, condensed and focused onto his tail through Azure's unique technique. As the twin Hyper Beams roared towards him, Pikachu, with incredible precision, whipped his glowing tail.

The Hyper Beams, instead of hitting him, struck the reflective surface of his tail. With a deafening boom, the energy was not absorbed but reflected with incredible force, arcing back towards Magnezone and Probopass.
*WHOOSH—KA-BOOM*
The reflected attacks slammed into Cyrus's Pokémon with their own destructive power. A blinding explosion rocked the summit, echoing across the mountains.
Magnezone and Probopass cried out once more, their forms buckling, smoke curling from their metallic frames. Cynthia commanded, seizing the perfect opening, "Now, Garchomp! Dragon Rush! Finish this!"
Garchomp roared, cloaking herself in a shimmering aura of draconic energy, "GRAAAAAH! (Time to pay, annoying rocks!!)."
*CRUNCH*
She shot forward like a living missile, soaring through the dissipating smoke. With a brutal impact, she slammed into the already crippled Magnezone and Probopass, sending them careening into the rocky debris.

Both Pokémon lay prone and sparking, completely out of commission. Cyrus snarled, recalling his defeated Pokémon with a frustrated grunt, "Ugh! Unbelievable!"
He tossed two more Poké Balls in rapid succession as he commanded bitterly, "Crobat! Absol! Go!"

A swift Crobat, its four wings beating furiously, zipped into the air. Beside it, an imposing Alpha Absol, its white fur pristine, its scythe-like horn gleaming, materialized with an ominous growl, "GRRRR."
Azure exclaimed, raising his fists in excitement, his eyes alight with the thrill of battle, "Pikachu, let's go!"
Pikachu crackled with electricity, ready for the next challenge, "PIKAA! (Heh. Bring it on, bag guy! Time to add number 4 to my Villain Beat list.)"

Simultaneously, a series of thunderous clashes echoed from the background, a testament to the grander battle unfolding. Regice and Thundurus engaged in a brutal elemental energy exchange.

Its Mega Punches rained down on Landorus, trying to break through the Legendary's earthen regenerative restoration and defenses. Registeel, acting as its stalwart assistant, provided cover fire with precise Flash Cannons, distracting Landorus while Regigigas pressed its assault.
High above, the aerial ballet between the two Darkrai and Enamorus continued. Cyrus's Darkrai launched a Dark Void, targeting Enamorus, but Azure's Darkrai, with a swift maneuver, intercepted it with its own Dark Void, canceling the attack mid-air.

Enamorus, seizing the momentary confusion, charged a brilliant, pink Moonblast!

The radiant orb of energy hurtled towards Cyrus's Darkrai. Instead of evading, Cyrus's Darkrai shimmered, a faint green barrier appearing around it…

Back on the main stage, Pikachu's cheeks sparked with ferocious energy. Azure commanded, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
A searing bolt of pure electricity shot from Pikachu, striking Crobat square on, "PIKAAAA-CHUUUUUUU!"

The flying Pokémon shrieked, twitching uncontrollably as paralysis seized its body. It spiraled erratically, losing altitude. Cyrus, despite the setback, merely smirked, a chilling glint in his eye. He commanded coldly, "A minor inconvenience. You underestimate my foresight, boy. Absol, Perish Song! End them all!"
Alpha Absol began to radiate a dark, chilling aura, its mouth opening to unleash the dreaded countdown-to-KO melody, "ABSOL!"
Cynthia's voice rang out, cutting through the air, "Garchomp! Earth Power!"
Garchomp slammed her mighty claws into the ground, "GRAAAHHH!"

The earth beneath Absol erupted in a geyser of pulverized rock and seismic energy, sending the Alpha Pokémon hurtling skyward before it could utter a single note of its fatal song. From the corner of Azure's eye, he saw his Entei, a magnificent beast of fire, having momentarily disengaged from Thundurus.
It spotted the airborne Absol, its eyes glowing with predatory instinct. A colossal blast of fire erupted from its mouth as it roared, "EN-TEI!!! (Down, vile beast!!)"
*WHOOSH-FWOOSH*
… engulfing the flailing Absol in a searing inferno. Absol cried out, its form scorched and singed, before collapsing back to earth, incapacitated.
*THUD*
Cyrus cursed loudly, his face a mask of fury. He hastily recalled his defeated Crobat and Absol as he cursed at Entei, "Damn you and your meddling Pokémon!"
Entei roared, its gaze now fixed on the remaining Forces of Nature, "GRRRRAAAHHHH! (Hmph! That was for controlling me fool.)"

It lunged towards the chaotic aerial battle, joining Regice in dealing with Thundurus and then turning its attention to Tornadus. Cyrus gritted his teeth, being easily dismissed by Azure's Pokémon.
Cyrus clenched his fists, his body trembling, but a new, dangerous glint entered his eyes. He muttered angrily, "Very well. You force my hand. Witness the true power of Team Galactic's ingenuity!"
He released his final two Poké Balls…

An imposing Alpha Houndoom, its fur black as night, its fangs dripping with dark fire, burst forth. Beside it, a majestic Alpha Salamence, a powerful dragon soaring with imposing wings, roared a challenge, "ROOOOAR!"

Cyrus, a triumphant sneer on his lips, pulled a small, gauntlet-like device from his coat. It gleamed with advanced technology, covered in intricate circuitry, as he boasted, "You underestimate the true advancements of Team Galactic! With this, I transcend the need for petty bonds! He activated the device. A jolt of raw energy, dark and corrupting, surged from the gauntlet, striking both Houndoom and Salamence. The Mega Stones on their bodies flared violently, a harsh, almost painful light engulfing them both.
Both Pokémon roared in agony and transformation, "ROOOOOOAAAAARRR!"
Alpha Houndoom's frame bulked up, spikes growing from its back, its fangs elongating, flames erupting from its mouth and feet – it was now Mega Houndoom, radiating searing heat and malice.
Alpha Salamence's wings merged into a single, crescent-shaped aerodynamic marvel, its body becoming more streamlined, yet more formidable. It was Mega Salamence, a living weapon of mass destruction.
Azure and Cynthia exchanged a shocked glance as they were startled by the scene in front of them, 'Forced Mega Evolution? This was unpredictable, unprecedented, and deeply unsettling to see...'
Cyrus bellowed, his voice filled with distorted glee, "Now, my ultimate weapons! End them! ERADICATE THEM!"
The battle intensified, the air thick with tension and raw power as the Mega Evolved Pokémon surged forward. Mega Houndoom unleashed a torrent of superheated flame, while Mega Salamence dove with bone-shattering speed.
Above the fray, Thundurus, having momentarily shaken off Regice's assault, rose with a malevolent gleam in its eye. It saw Azure, the primary target, standing exposed.

With a brutal Fire Fang, it sank its burning teeth into Thundurus's flesh, causing the Legendary to shriek in pain. Before Thundurus could retaliate, Regice, having closed the distance, delivered a bone-shattering Ice Punch, flattening the struggling Thundurus to the ground.

Azure sighed in relief, a genuine smile gracing his lips as he whispered to himself, "Thank you, Entei."
He then refocused, his gaze hardening. He said sternly in a resolute tone, "Cynthia, let's end this. Now."
Cynthia nodded, her own determination blazing, and replied, "Agreed."

Azure's Legends (and Cynthia's Enamorus) pressed their advantage against Cyrus's remaining forces: Darkrai, Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus. Landorus, attempting a desperate counter-attack, slammed its fists into the ground.

The earth beneath Azure's Pokémon cracked open, a massive chasm threatening to swallow them whole. Landorus tried to use Fissure. But Regigigas, having broken free of its Slow Start's shackles, met the incoming attack head-on.

With a powerful surge of pure strength, it slammed its own massive fist into the ground, closing the gap with sheer brute force, shattering the Fissure's destructive path. Registeel, who had been assisting its creator, dodged the collapsing ground just in time.

It retaliated with a devastating Hyper Beam blast, slamming Landorus back forcefully, backing it off…

Regice, still clutching the now dazed Thundurus, delivered another bone-jarring Ice Punch, sending it reeling to the ground. Entei followed up with a spectacular Sacred Fire, engulfing Thundurus in a pillar of purifying flames, and roared, "ROOOOAR!!"
High above, a chaotic light show ignited the sky. Enamorus, Azure's Darkrai, and Cyrus's Darkrai battled with unyielding ferocity. Dark Pulses and Moonblasts crisscrossed the heavens, creating dazzling, yet deadly, explosions of energy…

Regirock, weathering a desperate Hurricane from Tornadus…

… powered through the gale. Its sheer durability allowed it to close the distance, grabbing the wind genie with a firm grip…

With a primal roar, it unleashed a close-range Stone Edge, jagged rocks erupting from its body to bash Tornadus. Then, with a mighty cry, Regirock forced Tornadus to the ground using Gravity, pinning it underneath the titan in place as it continued to be relentlessly bashed by the rock giant.
*BAM—BAM—BAM*
Back on the main stage, Cynthia raised her Mega Lipstick, a glint of resolve in her eyes. It gleamed, revealing her Key Stone within. She yelled resolutely, "Garchomp! Surpass your limits! Mega Evolve!"

The Key Stone pulsed with extraordinary light, connecting with the Garchompite on Garchomp's neck. Garchomp's body shimmered, twisting and expanding as she screamed, "GRAAAAAHHHH-MEGAAA!"

She became sleeker, sharper, more menacing, her skin darkening, her claws growing even more formidable. Mega Garchomp had arrived. Cynthia commanded, "MEGA GARCHOMP! EARTH POWER!"
Mega Garchomp let out a terrifying roar, slamming her claws into the earth, sending a massive wave of seismic energy towards Mega Houndoom, "GRRRR-ROOOOAR! (TAKE THIS YOU MUTT!!)"

Mega Houndoom, agile despite its size, didn't try to block. Instead, it leaped onto Mega Salamence's back, using the dragon as a platform to vault over the incoming Earth Power, narrowly missing the attack. Azure called, aiming to ground the flying menace, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt on Mega Salamence!"
Pikachu cried out, "PIKAA-CHUUUUUU!"

Ever since her painful, yet enlightening, defeat by Azure long ago, she had felt a lack in her own skills, a ceiling she needed to shatter. She had trained relentlessly, pushed herself and her Pokémon beyond their limits, all for this moment—to prove not just to Azure, but to herself, how much stronger she had become. She had mastered it, the ultimate Dragon Type move. She would bet everything on it.
Cynthia's voice was low, yet it resonated with absolute authority, "Garchomp. The time has come. Draco Meteor!"
Mega Garchomp let out a primordial roar, so loud it vibrated through the very core of Mt. Coronet, "GRAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Above her, a swirling vortex of draconic energy coalesced, gathering power. Then, with an explosive force, it launched countless blazing meteors—not just energy, but tangible, destructive projectiles—into the sky.

Cyrus screamed, watching in horror as the meteors slammed into the struggling Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, tearing through their forms, shaking their very core. Even his own Darkrai was caught in the fringe of the devastating assault.

The ground buckled, explosions ripped through the air, and for a full agonizing minute, the summit was engulfed in a blinding display of raw, unrestrained power. When the dust finally settled, a profound silence descended upon Mt. Coronet, broken only by the groaning of the mountain and the faint sizzle of embers.
Azure's eyes were wide, fixed on the devastation. A slow, appreciative smile spread across his face as he muttered, "Cynthia… you've truly grown."
The landscape was scarred, pockmarked with craters. Mega Salamence and Mega Houndoom lay unconscious, their bodies reverted to their normal forms, covered in burns and bruises. The Legendary Pokémon—Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus—twitched, their eyes unfocused, no longer glowing with Cyrus's corrupting influence. Enamorus and Azure's Darkrai had descended, their forms tired but victorious.
Azure saw Cyrus. He was a pathetic sight, crushed beneath a fallen meteor, his 'G' emblem device shattered, a few broken Master Balls lying uselessly beside him.
He coughed, a weak, wet sound, blood trickling from his lips, "Ack! No… my new world… it was supposed…"
His eyes were unfocused; his grand ambitions reduced to nothing.
With the destruction of Cyrus's device and the overwhelming power of the Draco Meteor, his control over the Legendaries was broken. Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, now free, looked around with bewildered, then grateful, expressions.
They recognized the freedom that had been granted to them. In a flurry of roars and grateful screeches, they fled the scene, vanishing into the clouds, eager to escape their forced servitude, "TOR! LAN! THUN! (Humans! Thank you!)"
Cyrus's Darkrai, also freed, gave a quick, almost imperceptible nod to Azure's Darkrai before phasing into the shadows and disappearing, whispered, "Thank you, my fellow kin… You have my thanks and your human saving us…"
*Wooosh*
Azure's Legends, from Regigigas to Regice, Registeel, Regirock, Entei, and Darkrai, let out a collective, triumphant roar that echoed through the entire Sinnoh region, "ROOOOAAAARRR! GRRRRR!"
Cynthia's Mega Garchomp reverted to her normal form, panting heavily. Cynthia let out a long, weary sigh and muttered, "That was… draining. But effective."
She glanced at Azure, a small smile playing on her lips. She said happily, "And to think, I didn't even need the rest of my team for the job. Though I'm almost disappointed I didn't get to show off more."
Azure laughed, a genuine, joyful sound as he replied, "I'd say you showed off more than enough, Cynthia. That Draco Meteor was a sight to behold."
He recalled his tired but victorious team, all except for Pikachu, Eevee, and Pichu (Mew), who settled back into their usual spots. He looked down at the unconscious, defeated Cyrus, a faint frown replacing his smile, muttering, "This could've been so much worse. But at the very least, Cyrus and Team Galactic are finally done for."
Cynthia nodded, her gaze hardening as she looked at Cyrus. She moved forward, effortlessly lifting Cyrus's limp form, her strength surprising.
She produced a set of sturdy restraints, binding him securely. A flicker of personal vengeance entered her eyes as she said coldly, "Indeed. The Pokémon League and the Association will have a very long talk with him. And I, for one, intend to have some personal payback for what he did to my hometown, Celestic Town."
Azure nodded in agreement as he commented nonchalantly, "Fair enough. And honestly? This villain takedown was easier than in Kanto with Team Rocket and less chaotic than Hoenn's Terrorist Organization, Team Magma and Aqua. Saves me the trouble of dealing with two warring factions at once."
Pikachu chirped in agreement, and Eevee nodded her head from Azure's head, while the tiny Pichu (Mew) peeked out of his jacket, its eyes sparkling with mischief. The summit of Mt. Coronet, though scarred, was now safe. The dark clouds of Team Galactic had finally been dispelled.
