[3rd POV]
With Luz having left, the shop soon returned back to its normal atmosphere. Rather boring and the same customers as usual. The book club had come in like usual, and had bought another new book. This time it was one that hailed from the PJO universe, and was native to that one.
It was a romance book that was supposedly written by Apollo under the name of a human guise. It was a pretty decent book, if not a bit cheesy. But the old women that were in the book club loved that sort of book. They had also asked for another suggestion as usual, and had decided on another one for the future.
At the same time, Wanda had been watching the reactions of her newest daughter, and had to try her best to not laugh at the way Amity was completely in love with the adorable human that had left a short while ago.
She couldn't get Luz out of her mind, and that was very obvious to Wanda. She found that to be amusing, but she also knew that it would get distracting during their training and her work. So she made sure to direct her to do some of her chores for the day, with her chores actually being a joint task alongside Naruto and Milim this time.
The chores in question were mostly just fixing up the animal dimension, trimming the plants in the plant dimension with Ivy, and cleaning up parts of the living dimension that they all lived in. The dimension was getting bigger since her family was growing.
While they were doing their work, Wanda had gotten a visitor in the form of Death, who sauntered in with her usual sensual walk. The woman was trying to tease her to the absolute best of her capability, wearing clothes that revealed only just enough to entice Wanda, and covered enough to make her want to see more.
Death was very good at teasing Wanda, and she knew that fact. Even Raven had noticed it, but didn't say anything. She was honestly more amused with the fact that Death was pretty much openly flirting with Wanda, and was openly teasing the woman.
Death and Raven had long come to an understanding quite some time ago. And at this point Raven was completely okay with the idea of sharing Wanda with Death. But she was a bit surprised with the fact that Death and Wanda had not already gotten together, considering they had known each other for quite some time now.
And while they had not been on any more dates since the last one, they were regularly interacting thanks to the fact that Death was a regular in the shop. And every single time that Death had come to the shop, she had pretty openly teased and flirted with Wanda.
So the fact that the two of them had not done anything yet was both surprising and confusing to Raven, as she was fully expecting the two to jump one another at some point. And if not Wanda jumping Death, she was expecting Death to give up on holding back and jumping her instead.
It was confusing to her. But she figured that it had something to do with her being there, or maybe they wanted to go at it slow or something? Either way, Raven was basically waiting to see Wanda and Death making out in the bookstore or something.
The visit from Death had not been a super long one, as they never were. It was just a little trip to buy some more books, tease Wanda some more, and trade in yet another book that Wanda had never seen before, and was very excited to read.
But this time, Death had talked about something else.
"My brother is going to be coming by again some time soon" Death said, as she paid for the food that she had also gotten.
"Hmm? Why? Does he have another request for me or something?" Wanda asked, curious.
"No, he actually just wants to come and shop here. He's heard a lot from me about the books here, and he is especially curious to learn about dream based magics that are not native to our multiverse" Death replied with a shake of her head.
"Is it a good idea for him to learn something like that? He is quite literally Dream, so wouldn't him learning a new dream based magic affect all others in the multiverse that utilize Dream based magics and abilities?" Wanda asked, as Death blinked several times upon hearing her words.
"That...is honestly a really good question. And I do believe it would. And something like that might not be too dangerous for the greater multiverse, but it will almost certainly affect it in ways that he will not be able to control" Death replied, agreeing that him learning new traits of the Dream would quite literally change the concept of the Dream in their multiverse.
Different version of the concept of "Dream" had different traits, abilities, and power. And in some multiverses it was FAR stronger than in others. And since some of the books she had detailed things about the Dream that were different than what they knew, it would strengthen and warp the concept of Dream in the DC Mutliverse.
It was a real issue that she would need to bring up to her sibling, and it was a worry that they would have to think about in the future. Even she would have to be careful about it. As the concept of the Dream changing was one thing, it wouldn't affect the multiverse too much. But the concept of Death changing?
That would be disastrous, and immensely dangerous to the greater multiverse.
"Well, looks like you'll have to talk to him before he comes here. And it sounds like I'll need to get rid of all the books on Death whenever you come here. As I would rather not hear about what sort of consequences that would cause" Wanda said, as she snapped her finger, the books on death disappearing a moment later.
"Thanks, I'll have to let him and my other siblings know. They've also been talking about visiting in the future" Death replied with a thankful smile, as that would make it so that they could still safely come to the shop without having to worry about anything.
After giving her thanks, and a small peck on the cheek, Death had soon left, deciding she needed to inform her siblings quickly to make sure they didn't get blind sided or angry with the fact that there were no books on their individual concepts that they might be interested in.
Once she left, Wanda was left in the shop alone once again, as Amity was up above doing her chores alongside her siblings. The fact that she was alone was...once again boring as shit. She didn't particularly like being alone in the shop, and preferred when there were others in there with her.
But she was alone, as she sipped on her tea and read the book that Death had traded in. It was an ancient book on a lost form of mathematics, which allowed for the manipulation of sub atomic particles. It was very interesting, very advanced, and pretty useful.
She was also pretty sure that it was impossible in most other universes, and could not be applied in one like the universe that the Doctor hailed from. And a trait like that would probably cause some incredible consequences in universes like those ones too.
'I wonder when the little crew will return?' Wanda thought, interested to see them again. She was really interested in learning more about their universe, and wanted to gain access to more of their species knowledge. There was just so much to learn, thanks to the fact that there was so many species in that universe that had space faring capabilities. The Klingons, Humans, Ferengi, Borg, Q, and so many more.
As Wanda sat there thinking about all of this, she heard the door to her shop creep open. Looking up, she blinked in surprise at who had entered.
It was the other her from 616.
The woman had not returned in a while now, probably because she had personally trained her to a level that she could sort of train on her own and grow just fine. But this time, she was back, and there was someone with her.
And as Wanda glanced at the one with her, she raised an eyebrow, interest gleaming in her eyes, and one thought on her mind.
'I wonder what she is doing here?' Wanda thought, as she saw the woman standing next to the other her, and that woman was the host of the personification of Psychic energy, one of the most powerful beings in the entirety of Marvel comics...
