There was a king in Targaryen history known as Aegon IV.
This fellow loved to travel across the realm.
Every time he arrived at a noble's castle, the lord of the castle would have to present his own daughter to entertain him.
He possessed not only an insatiable sexual appetite, but a voracious appetite for food as well, making his physical build exceptionally stout.
This combination of intense hunger and lust resulted in him fathering a vast multitude of bastards.
It was precisely for this reason that the seeds for the future Blackfyre Rebellion were planted.
Viserys's invitation to Margaery undoubtedly seemed a bit frivolous. It made some people think of the Aegon IV of old.
Mace had brought his daughter along for this expedition to Harrenhal with the intention of letting her meet Viserys.
He was aware of Arianne's situation, but the Rose of Highgarden, whom he had raised with such great effort, would be a waste if she could not become queen.
Mace's plan was to use the merit of capturing Harrenhal, combined with his daughter's superb qualities, to secure Viserys's heart first.
However, Margaery's body could not be given to him just yet.
This was precisely why he did not want the two of them to be alone together.
If Viserys and Margaery actually did something up in the sky, he would be completely powerless to stop it.
Yet then again, riding a dragon was not like riding a horse.
As an ordinary person, could Margaery truly give up the opportunity to ride a dragon?
Mace looked at his daughter with a slight nervousness, chanting repeatedly in his heart, 'Don't answer, don't answer!'
Margaery's response allowed him to breathe a sigh of relief.
"I beg Your Majesty's forgiveness, but I am somewhat afraid of heights," Margaery said, bowing her head slightly while looking up into Viserys's eyes.
Her bashfulness was mixed with remorse, making it impossible for anyone to bear the heart to blame her.
Furthermore, she took the responsibility upon herself so as not to embarrass Viserys.
Just as Viserys was marveling at the training methods of the Queen of Thorns, Margaery continued:
"Your Majesty will protect me, won't you?"
'You really are quite the cunning flirt, I like it,' Viserys thought to himself before speaking aloud:
"Dragons have terrible tempers.
They instinctively reject anyone mediocre or cowardly, let alone carrying them in flight.
I am not certain what kind of person Lady Margaery is."
Viserys had seen it all, so naturally he used a bit of reverse psychology on her.
Margaery, after all, was not yet her fully matured self and could not withstand the provocation.
She spoke up, "Your Majesty, I ride horses very well. It shouldn't be a problem!"
Seeing his daughter speak like this, Mace thought to himself that it was all over.
If he opened his mouth to stop it now, it would be disrespecting the King.
And so, after a bout of mutual testing, the group arrived before Balerion, who had just finished eating several sheep.
The scents of sulfur and fresh blood still drifted through the air.
Balerion slowly turned his head.
His golden vertical pupils sized up Margaery, a single drop of fresh blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.
Walking side by side with Viserys, Margaery leaned a bit closer in his direction.
A faint, delicate fragrance drifted into his nose. Viserys noticed that although Margaery was not older than Arianne, she was nearly more than half a head taller.
"What is it? Are you scared? It doesn't matter if you want to leave now."
"No, I am not afraid. With Your Majesty by my side, I am not afraid."
Viserys curved his lips into a smile, directly taking Margaery's hand as they stepped onto the dragon's wing and climbed onto its back.
At this point, Mace had no options left whatsoever.
Soon, Viserys and Margaery were seated together on the dragon's back.
When the dragon's wings flapped, the young girl showed no signs of fear. Instead, her large eyes sparkled with excitement.
The black dragon flew higher and higher, until the people on the ground appeared no larger than ants.
Seeing the black dragon take off, the silver dragon and green dragon followed close behind.
Viserys did not fly too far away, simply circling in the sky above Harrenhal.
Yet even this was more than enough for Margaery.
The oncoming wind fluttered her silk-like brown hair.
The unique scent of the young woman reminded Viserys of Arianne.
Before having intimate physical contact with her, he had not cared particularly much about such things.
However, once his body had tasted that sweetness, whenever he found himself idle, he wanted to seek her out.
Now, holding a ripening little apple in his arms, Viserys felt a stir of impulse within himself.
He noticed that Margaery did not seem to be boasting; she adapted to riding a dragon remarkably fast.
"Lady Margaery."
"Your Majesty?" Margaery looked back at Viserys. Such close proximity gave her a sense of unrealness.
"Have you ever heard a saying that if you can only do something once in your life, you ought to do it to the extreme?"
"I haven't, but that sounds like an interesting idea."
"Then let me take you to try it."
"What? Ah!"
Balerion suddenly pitched his front body up from his steady flight path, executing a complete 360 loop.
Margaery screamed out in shock, abandoning all composure.
This made Mace down below watch with a pounding heart.
When Margaery regained her senses, she realized Viserys's arms were tightly encircling her slender waist.
"One more time."
"No! Please don't!"
"Refusal denied!"
Viserys thought to himself, directly having Balerion execute a barrel roll maneuver.
After several turns, Margaery's hair had come completely undone, and she shrank into Viserys's embrace without a second thought.
"Your Majesty, that's enough, Your Majesty!"
Margaery began to beg for mercy, but at that moment, the white dragon Meraxes had already flown directly beneath Balerion.
"Finally, let's do something even more thrilling!"
"What?"
Margaery did not believe anything could be more thrilling than what had just happened, but the black dragon directly rotated one hundred and eighty degrees, flying back-downward!
Holding Margaery, Viserys leaped from the air onto the back of the silver dragon!
This bungee-jump-like sensation nearly made Margaery faint.
Ultimately, under Mace's reckless shouting, Viserys and Margaery descended to the ground.
To everyone's surprise, Margaery experienced no discomfort after coming down from the dragon's back.
Viserys recalled that when he took Rhaenys and Rhaella flying, both of them had displayed symptoms of nausea right after stepping off the dragon's back.
Only Dany had not.
Handmaidens rushed forward in disarray to tidy her hair.
Mace stepped forward to express his gratitude to Viserys.
"Your Majesty, my daughter's willful behavior has caused you trouble."
"It was nothing, no trouble at all."
Viserys spoke while looking at Margaery, whose eyes were now practically glued to Viserys, unable to look away even a little.
Heh heh, this is what you call the suspension bridge effect.
Viserys thought to himself with satisfaction, and subsequently led the Highgarden army to capture the Golden Tooth.
As for old Walder Frey, the instant he saw the dragons, he immediately led his entire family to pledge allegiance.
The news of fires in their rear would soon reach Braavos, and when that happened, Robert's army morale would inevitably fall into total chaos.
Meanwhile, Clinton's side was nearly prepared as well. Viserys decided to return to the Free Cities at once and take Braavos!
