I folded my arms. "Oh, really?"
They both nodded again, holding onto him tighter.
Aaron tried not to laugh, but I could see it on his face.
"Don't encourage them," I warned, pointing at him.
"I didn't say anything," he replied, raising his hands slightly, but the smile was still there.
I shook my head and stepped closer. "Come down," I said. "Both of you."
"Nooo," Jasmine whined, tightening her hold.
Hanith added, "Dad, tell her we are sick."
Aaron cleared his throat, trying to sound serious. "Well… they do have a point…"
"Aaron," I cut in, giving him a look.
He stopped immediately. "Okay, okay. I'm not involved."
I stepped closer again, reaching for them, but they squealed and quickly ran off, dodging me.
"Hey!" I said, trying not to laugh. "Come back here!"
