I nodded, smiling at both of them. "There you go, Jasmine. That's the one that fits best with your dress. Great choice."
She beamed, holding the bag tightly, clearly happy with her decision, and then ran her fingers over the hair accessories display. She picked up a few headbands and hair clips, but again, she hesitated slightly, unsure which would look best with her new dress. The same worker leaned over again, offering a few suggestions, and Jasmine's face lit up with delight as she chose a matching set that coordinated perfectly with her outfit.
"Perfect," I said softly, giving her a little thumbs up. "You're going to look amazing."
Hanith, meanwhile, was already adjusting his backpack straps, clearly proud and ready for the birthday. "Dad, look! I can carry everything now," he said, puffing out his chest slightly.
I chuckled, ruffling his hair. "I can see that, son. You're ready."
