By the time the stylist finished, they were practically bouncing in their chairs, leaning toward each other in the mirrors, comparing their new looks.
"I look finer than you." Jasmine announced proudly, turning her head this way and that.
"No, I look finer!" Hanith argued, pointing at his own reflection.
I laughed quietly, shaking my head. "You both look amazing. Now, let's get ready to go home and show Mom your new styles."
They beamed at me, their faces glowing with joy, and I couldn't help but feel a warm sense of satisfaction at how happy and confident they looked. Their little arguments faded into laughter as we gathered our things and prepared to leave, the twins still comparing their hair and whispering to each other about who looked the finest.
The ride back to the car was filled with chatter about their hair, their new clothes, and the excitement of showing Mom, and I just listened, smiling quietly to myself as I drove.
