~Katherine's POV
I wiped my fingers lightly with a napkin, leaning back in my chair as I let out a quiet breath. The snacks were almost finished, crumbs scattered across the table, and empty cups pushed to the side, and the twins were still buzzing like they had not just eaten enough sugar to last a whole day.
"I'm full," Jasmine announced, though she was still licking the last bit of cotton candy from her fingers.
"Same," Hanith added, leaning back dramatically, his head almost tipping over the chair. "I can't eat anything again."
I raised a brow at him. "We'll see about that in one hour," I said, shaking my head.
Aaron chuckled softly beside me, gathering some of the wrappers into one place. "Let them enjoy it while it lasts," he said, glancing at them. "The crash will come soon enough."
"I heard that," Jasmine said quickly, sitting up straight. "I'm not crashing."
Hanith nodded in agreement. "Me too. I'm strong."
