~Katherine's POV
I managed to get the package inside with one hand while the other steadied Jasmine, who was half asleep and leaning heavily against me. Hanith was dragging his feet behind us, his eyes barely open, mumbling something about how tired he was. I pushed the door closed with my leg and dropped my keys on the table, taking a slow breath before looking down at them.
"Come on," I said softly, brushing Jasmine's hair away from her face. "Let's get you both cleaned up before bed."
They groaned in protest, the kind that came from deep exhaustion, but they didn't argue. I guided them toward their room, helping them out of their clothes, my hands moving automatically, like this was something my body already knew by heart. I turned on the bathroom light, filled the tub just a little, and helped them step in.
"Quick bath," I said gently. "Then you can sleep."
Jasmine leaned her head against my arm, her voice soft and sleepy. "Mommy… today was fun."
