Chapter 167 - The Gluttonous Queen

Then, without any hesitation, Elisabeth tried all the dishes, wolfing them down with gusto.

In contrast, Akane and Mary ate much more elegantly.

"Uh... I have some left here, maybe..."

Seeing Elisabeth eat like a starving ghost, Yuki looked completely taken aback. Just as he was about to offer her some of his share, the Vampire Ancestor showed absolutely no restraint.

"No problem! I'll finish it for you!"

With that, she snatched the bowl right from in front of Yuki. She didn't even bother pouring it into her own bowl, directly eating from the one Yuki had used.

"You really have no shame!"

Yuki was both amused and exasperated, could only shake his head silently.

Then, he decided to ignore this gluttonous Ancestor, opened the chat group, and praised Saeko Busujima's cooking.

[Yuki]: Saeko's skills are getting better and better! The meal was delicious!

[Saeko Busujima]: Mhm, mhm! I'm glad you liked it!

That's right. This entire table of dishes actually came from Saeko.

It was currently dinnertime where she was, so she had specifically prepared extra for Yuki and the others and sent it over via the chat group's red packet feature.

[Seitenshi]: Yuki! I helped make it too!

[Yuki]: I know, of course I didn't forget you! You did great too.

[Seitenshi]: Hehe!

[Artemis]: Understood. Once I have a physical body, I'll learn cooking!

[Dongfang Huaizhu]: Actually... my cooking skills are also quite good!

Seeing the messages from Dongfang Huaizhu and Artemis, Yuki couldn't help but chuckle.

Dongfang Huaizhu, gentle as water, was the epitome of a good wife, so her mention of cooking wasn't surprising at all.

But Artemis... forget it. As a Moon Goddess, the image of a kitchen girl didn't quite suit her.

While Yuki was checking the chat group, Elisabeth finally finished eating.

Through the combined efforts of the master-servant pair and Akane, the entire table of food had been completely devoured. The plates were cleaner than their faces.

"Finished eating?"

Yuki looked at the empty table, then at Elisabeth beside him.

She nodded slightly. Only then did she realize how much they had eaten. A blush spread across her face as she lowered her head in slight embarrassment, not daring to look at Yuki.

Seeing this, Yuki felt somewhat speechless.

'Now you're embarrassed? Where was this shyness earlier?!'

But despite his inner retort, Yuki didn't really mind.

"So, what are your thoughts now?"

Yuki then asked Elisabeth.

Hearing this, Elisabeth recalled what Mary had told her earlier about Yuki's conditions for helping.

After thinking for a moment, her expression turned serious as she looked at Yuki.

"Mr. Yuki."

"Just call me Yuki. Or 'Master' works too."

Yuki corrected Elisabeth, then couldn't resist teasing her.

Beside them, Mary let out a soft "Ah!" in surprise.

Hearing Yuki's teasing, Elisabeth wasn't angry. Instead, her little face flushed red.

"Yuki, if you're already so strong, what would you need Mary and me to do for you?"

"If even you can't handle something, my strength would hardly be sufficient."

Naturally, Elisabeth didn't call Yuki "Master"; she chose to use his name.

"No, no, your combat power is sufficient."

Yuki waved a hand, indicating Elisabeth's strength was enough.

"And I don't need you to help me defeat anyone or anything. My goal is actually quite simple: to unify this world."

"The specifics are like this..."

Yuki then explained about the organization he wanted to establish to manage all the kingdoms of this world.

After hearing this, both Elisabeth and Mary looked shocked.

They never imagined Yuki had such a grand and, frankly, insane plan.

To bring all kingdoms under unified management, thereby unifying the entire world.

Even she, as a Vampire Ancestor, wouldn't dare imagine such a thing.

But coming from Yuki's mouth, it didn't sound like a joke at all.

For a moment, the two didn't know how to respond.

"Unifying the entire world... is an immensely difficult task."

Elisabeth frowned and sighed.

"Are you sure your method is feasible?"

"Of course. I just need you to help manage the organization properly."

Yuki nodded gently.

"If it's you unifying the world, why don't you manage it yourself?"

Elisabeth asked Yuki in return.

Yuki shrugged and replied:

"Because I can't be bothered. It's too much trouble."

"B... bothered?!"

Hearing Yuki's reason, Elisabeth was somewhat speechless.

If you're already bothered, then why even try to unify the world? Isn't that just extra work?!

But Elisabeth didn't understand Yuki's thinking. However, she needed to consider his conditions.

"By the way, why would you think I'd agree to become your subordinate and work for you?"

Elisabeth then recalled Mary's confident words about her agreeing. She was curious: under what conditions would she agree?

"That's simple. Since you'll be working for me, I naturally wouldn't let you suffer."

"So, something you've always dreamed of, like the Vampire Ancestor no longer needing to drink blood, eliminating those weaknesses... don't you think you'd be tempted?"

A faint smile touched Yuki's lips as he asked Elisabeth.

Upon hearing this, Elisabeth suddenly stood up in shock.

She grabbed Yuki's arm excitedly, her breathing quick as she asked:

"You mean there's a way to eliminate my Vampire Ancestor's blood-drinking habit?! And also eliminate those weaknesses?!"

"Yes."

Yuki gently nodded, giving Elisabeth a definite answer.

Hearing this, Elisabeth could no longer contain her excitement.

"I... I agree!"

"Master!! I'll do whatever you ask!"

Elisabeth immediately knelt at Yuki's feet, her expression filled with intense excitement.

To be honest, she truly couldn't refuse this condition.

She had dreamed of ridding herself of that damned blood-drinking urge.

But clearly, as a Vampire Ancestor, she couldn't quit as easily as ordinary vampires.

Yuki's appearance undoubtedly gave her hope.

Beside them, Mary watched her noble Master kneeling before someone else, feeling a complex mix of emotions.

But thinking that they were now Yuki's people, kneeling to him as their Master was only right.

This made her inner feelings even more complicated.

Elisabeth's reaction was within Yuki's expectations.

Precisely because he held a bargaining chip Elisabeth couldn't refuse, he had been so confident she wouldn't decline.

"Alright!"

Yuki nodded, then snapped his fingers.

"Done."

Yuki nodded calmly, indicating Elisabeth's blood-drinking urges were now gone.

Seeing this, Elisabeth was somewhat stunned.

"That's it?!"

She found it hard to believe, such a problem solved with just a snap of the fingers?!

"Usually, shouldn't it involve taking a special potion or being infused with some unique power to neutralize the vampire nature?!"

"How could it be this simple?!"

The red-haired Vampire Ancestor muttered to herself.

Yuki rolled his eyes.

"What nonsense. Whether it's gone or not, test it yourself and you'll know."

Reminded by Yuki, Elisabeth immediately reacted.

She and Mary quickly found some small vials containing blood on the tower's top floor.

Opening a vial, she sniffed the scent of the blood inside.

But now, she remained completely calm. Clearly, there was no blood-drinking urge or desire.

This made her realize she truly had broken free from the blood-drinking habit. Yuki hadn't lied to her.
