Aldrian panicked and hurriedly took a step back. He even forgot that Seira was right beside him, which showed just how frightened he was.
Seira glanced at him indifferently, then stepped back as well. The footsteps grew closer, and soon, the door in front of them opened.
A servant appeared with a calm expression. Aldrian furrowed his brow as he recognized the man—it was Arkash.
"Arkash? What are you doing here? Where are the others?" he asked, his voice filled with relief.
Arkash was one of the head servants. There were three head servants in total, and Aldrian was quite close to him.
Seeing Aldrian relax, Seira naturally felt calmer as well.
She didn't know Arkash very well, since she preferred not to interact too much with the servants in this palace.
It wasn't because she was arrogant, but because she didn't consider this palace her home.
What was the point of getting close to the servants and guards?
