"Where are you taking us, Arkash?" Aldrian asked hesitantly.
Whether it was just a hunch or not, he felt Arkash wouldn't take them to his parents.
Still, he trusted him enough not to press for an answer.
Arkash remained calm and said, "Don't worry, Your Highness. I've come specifically to pick you and Princess Seira up. Please trust me."
He glanced over his shoulder. Aldrian fell silent for a moment, then nodded slightly and replied, "All right, I understand."
Yet unease lingered beneath his composure, hidden deep within.
Seira watched the exchange quietly.
'How careless,' she muttered with a long sigh.
It was obvious Arkash harbored ill intentions. She was certain of it.
But she deliberately chose to remain silent, curious to see what plan he had in store for her and Aldrian.
The three continued walking until they reached a door.
"His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen are inside. Come in," Arkash said with a faint smile as he opened the door.
