Selina thought of retreating to her room, but the sweet, warm aroma of the meal from the kitchenette began to fill the living space, calling to her. Unable to ignore the invitation, she headed toward the dining table. It was lined with white porcelain plates, their lids still in place. She needed to feel energized for the rest of her day's mischief.
Settling into a seat, she picked up a spoon and lifted a lid; one look at the dish was enough to tell her that Eloise had prepared this specifically for her.
But just as she was about to dig in, a dangerous thought crossed her mind.
