When Harry woke up the next morning, he felt extremely content. Waking between two naked, loving women would do that to a man, and he enjoyed feeling them, looking at them, and recalling what they had done before falling asleep.
Another shower was a must, of course, and Harry let the girls shower before him, just to ensure it didn't take too long. Hermione rushed to the dorms as soon as she was fully clothed to get organized for the new day. Luna had already checked for the wedding band, finding one firmly set on Hermione's finger. She then checked Harry's, finding that his previous band had widened.
Harry, though, was starting to worry. "Are you sure this was wise? How can I even cope with two wives?"
She smiled reassuringly. "You coped quite well last night. I believe you could even cope with four, if you liked."
Harry looked frightened. "Please, no more! You and Hermione are more than good enough for me."
Luna was in a teasing mood. "Why, don't you find Daphne very beautiful? And it would be nice to thaw the 'Ice Queen', don't you think? And Susan Bones is also eye candy. Wouldn't you love to caress her big tits and suck her nipples? Maybe check if her pubic hair is the same color as that on her head?"
Harry lifted his hand to stop her. "Please! Do you want to kill me? I appreciate your care for me having as varied sex partners as possible, but you two are quite enough for me."
Luna relented, although her playful mood stayed.
Harry, though, had a serious question. "You said you saw Hermione ending up with somebody else, yet now you practically invited her to become my wife. What changed?"
Luna sighed. "I'm not sure, but once we became a couple, my visions changed. I couldn't see Hermione with anybody but you. It's possible that the mere fact you wed me at that time changed the most probable future. I trust my visions, but I can never know what caused them or any change in them. I'm sorry."
"Don't be. Just the way I've trusted Hermione since we became friends, I trust you since we first spoke. It may be weird, but that's how I feel."
"And I love you too," she said, initiating a snog.
–..–
They met Hermione on the way to the Great Hall. "You walk normally," Luna noticed.
"I also know the spells to help with that. Besides, I had the night to recuperate, you know."
"Yes, of course. Are you ready for some more, say… at lunchtime?" Luna's eyes sparkled.
Hermione thought seriously about that and then shook her head sadly. "I have Arithmancy immediately after lunch. No time for sex then, but I could probably squeeze some before dinner, if we don't make it too long. I know Harry is free then. Are you?"
Luna waved her hand dismissively. "I'll do my homework then. You two need to catch up a bit."
They sat at the Gryffindor table, as usual. Nobody noticed anything different, as Hermione used to normally sit at Harry's side since the first year. They almost finished breakfast when the mail arrived. Two owls landed in front of Hermione, and another landed in front of Harry, who frowned.
"Why do you frown, Harry?" Hermione asked him worriedly.
"Dumbledore keeps to his old tricks. I should have gotten two owls, like you. He's probably still getting my Gringotts mail, unlawfully — of course."
They still finished their meal first. Then, with a girl on each side, Harry strode to the Headmaster's office. The gargoyle jumped aside as he approached, and the door opened as soon as they reached it. The headmaster stood at his desk, as grandfatherly as always. "To what do I owe this sudden visit, Lord Potter?" he asked.
Harry was not fooled. "It looks like you 'forgot' to remove the mail redirection on me. Do it now!" This was not a student talking to the headmaster; it was a Lord addressing one below his level, and Dumbledore was certainly aware of the tone.
"My apologies, Lord Potter. It just slipped my mind," he lied smoothly. None of the teens believed him. "I'll do it at once." Dumbledore walked around the table, coming closer. The two girls moved aside. Without prior agreement, each moved far enough to disallow the headmaster from casting on any of them while casting on Harry. Each also grabbed her wand, although not holding it in a threatening manner.
The old man was acutely aware of the suspicion towards him and his actions. He couldn't truly say he didn't deserve it, but it was quite disquieting to see such young people acting this way. He still made sure to act as expected and do nothing to raise any more suspicion. He removed the mail redirection ward and then cast a spell to check for any remnants. It came clean.
The teens finally relaxed a bit and sat down, not too close to each other. Dumbledore also took his seat, making sure not to act in any way to raise any more suspicion.
"May I have the mail you received for me since the Ball?" Harry asked in a demanding tone.
Dumbledore rummaged through the mail on his desk and found two unopened envelopes. "There are a few more envelopes. I opened none, but they are all in another room, along with all that was accumulated since you were a toddler."
Harry glanced at the envelopes. He opened the most recent one, finding the expected invitation to Gringotts. He turned back to Dumbledore. "I suggest you find a room close to our lodging and have all that mail moved there while we go to Gringotts, as this letter requests."
He then showed the confirmation letter for his marriage to Hermione. "I'd also like Hermione's stuff to be moved into our apartment. We don't need another, but we'd like another wardrobe added there, and another desk with some shelves above it, if you don't mind."
Dumbledore nodded, not quite happily. "Of course, Lord Potter. It will be done at once."
"Good. Ladies, let's go," Harry said, moving swiftly to the door and waiting there for the two girls to reach him, his eyes set firmly on the old man. He closed the door as soon as the girls passed it, leaving a fuming old man inside.
–..–
They used the letter as a portkey to reach Gringotts. Since the goblin portkey was not affected by Hogwarts' wards, they just found an empty classroom and parted from it.
Unlike the previous time, when his account manager had to spoon-feed him all the data that he should have known well ahead of time, this time, it was mainly to congratulate them for the additional bond and give Hermione her ring.
"Which title can you give me?" she asked.
"Well, Potter is taken, but I can give you Gryffindor, Peverell, Slytherin, or Gaunt. Maybe some others too, but I'm not sure."
Hermione was surprised. "I don't know who Gaunt was, but Slytherin? Are you sure?"
"My ancestry test showed that I'm his only living descendant, probably through my mother. Wouldn't you love to be Lady Slytherin?"
Hermione gave it some serious consideration and then shook her head sadly. "I don't think magical Britain is ready for that. Lady Gryffindor should be good enough for me."
She then turned to the account manager. "I heard that you have very good healers. I suspect that Harry had not been given the best treatment until now. Can your healers check him for any problems? I only hope it's not too expensive."
The goblin smiled without exposing teeth. "Nothing is too expensive for Potter, and the diagnostics are quite cheap. The treatment, depending on the findings, may vary in cost, of course."
A few minutes later, they were all appalled by what was found, as the lead healer told Harry. "Apart from malnutrition for too long, causing some medical problems that we can easily treat, we also found many tracking and monitoring charms cast on you, severe binding of your magic, and a mild binding of your mind, along with some compulsion and loyalty charms and potions. Still, the severest problem is a shard of dark soul in your scar. Your parents gave you some protection that prevented it from going any deeper, or it would have possessed you as a toddler. That should be removed first, if possible."
"Who cast those spells and binds on me?" Harry asked.
"The scar is the result of a curse cast by Voldemort, as expected. You also have a childhood bind on your magic, cast by your mother, as is normal for magical children. It would have disappeared by the time you reached eleven, had you not had the other binds. The rest were cast by Dumbledore."
Harry couldn't say he was surprised. "How long will it take, and when can you do it?" he asked.
"It can be done immediately. It may take up to twenty-four hours, depending on the tenacity of that soul shard, although in some cases it may be finished in slightly over six hours."
Harry didn't like that, but had another question. "I suspect that Hermione, at least, and possibly Luna as well, were subjected to such spells. Can you check them too?"
It didn't take long for that. They found some magic and mind binds on Hermione, along with some tracking charms and a compulsion potion. Luna only had some spying charms on her, but no binds of any kind. Harry suspected the old man didn't have the chance, or he would have bound her mind, at least.
The healers consulted and came up with a revised treatment plan. "Since your physical health has no influence on the soul shard, we may start treating it while your wives pass the rituals to remove all that they were subjected to. They will finish even before your physical treatment is over, so you'll have the ritual room ready whenever you are. We shall then do the ritual to remove the soul shard. It will be captured and dealt with separately. We shall then heal the scar and remove the rest of the problems."
"Can you heal his eyes, too?" Hermione asked.
The healer sighed. "We can, but it would be unwise to do it now. Lord Potter is sure to have a massive growth spurt as a result of the treatment, and that is sure to affect his eye cavities. Whatever we may do now will be rendered irrelevant by that. It would be wiser to wait until he reaches his full size before treating his eyes."
Hermione nodded understandingly.
–..–
The Potter trio returned to Hogwarts way after curfew. That didn't matter, since they were exempt from curfew due to their new positions, but Harry used the Marauder Map to prevent any meeting with the staff or prefects. He didn't like flaunting his lordship.
They found Hermione's stuff already in place, and her clothes were stowed in an additional wardrobe. A desk with some shelves was added to the common room. Harry wasn't sure, but he thought the bed was also widened a bit.
They also found a note on the coffee table. Harry first checked it to the best of his ability for any spells, letting his wives run some additional checks, before reading it without touching the parchment.
"Lord Potter,
All the mail accumulated since Halloween 1981 was moved to the adjacent room with the banana-shaped handle. The password to open it is 'sweet banana pie', and you may change it from within the room according to the instructions on the back of the door.
Respectfully yours,
Albus Dumbledore."
Harry felt a bit content that the headmaster didn't use his full name and all his titles, as he normally did in other correspondence.
He also made himself a mental note to learn all he could about detecting spells on objects and people and ways to counter them. He had a feeling that Dumbledore would not relent from trying to influence him in any way he could. What they had found at Gringotts about the headmaster was quite disquieting.
Despite their hormones, they were all too tired to do more than get naked, cuddle together in bed, and fall asleep.
