Chapter 152 - Chapter 151: We will talk.

The X-Men gazed at the large Susanoo that could stamp over them and they would be able to do nothing to stop it.

The towering blue warrior loomed above the lawn like a living mountain of energy. Its glowing red eyes stared down at them like they were ants. Massive armored arms hung at its sides.

Every movement it made caused the ground to tremble slightly. The X-Men had fought many powerful enemies before. They had faced Magneto and other mutants.

They had stopped world-ending threats. But nothing had ever felt like this. The sheer scale of the thing made their powers seem small. Their courage felt fragile.

Kurt Wagner, known as Nightcrawler, dropped to his knees. His tail curled tightly around his legs. Tears filled his yellow eyes. Fear gripped him completely.

The others stood frozen. Sweat dripped down their faces. Bobby Drake, Iceman, tried to keep his cool.

But even he felt the pressure. If he were not already covered in frost, sweat would have been pouring off him.

Kakashi asked again in a calm voice. "So do we continue fighting or are you willing to listen to us and help us?"

Kakashi did not like using such measures but they were on a time limit. His home for the past few years was in danger and he was not going to let it get destroyed.

He had grown to care about his world. He had made friends here. He had found a purpose again after losing so much in his own reality. Earth had given him a second chance. He had eaten meals with these people. He had fought beside them. He had watched them laugh and argue and grow.

Earth, the original one had become more than a temporary stop. It had become home. The thought of it being erased because of some cosmic accident or someone's selfish plan filled him with quiet fury. He would not allow it. Not while he still breathed.

And as a shinobi he was used to taking such unethical measures. He had been trained from childhood to do whatever was necessary for the mission.

He had killed in shadows. He had tortured for information. He had made threats to protect the village. He had watched comrades die because someone hesitated.

He had learned early that mercy could cost lives. He had learned that hesitation could end everything. The shinobi way was cold. It was practical. It was survival. He did not enjoy it. He never had. But he accepted it.

When the stakes were this high, when universes hung in the balance, he would do what needed to be done. Even if it meant becoming the villain in someone else's story for a few minutes.

Even if it meant scaring people who did not deserve to be scared. The children inside the school were innocent. He knew that. He would never harm them. But he needed the adults to listen. He needed them to understand the urgency. He needed them to help. If fear was the only way to get their attention, then he would use fear.

The old man with blood dripping from his nose surprisingly said, "Very well. We will talk."

Kakashi was surprised to see the old man being conscious even after he had just used Tsukuyomi.

He thought, 'Hmm, he is recovered from Tsukuyomi quite fast. I still remember myself being bedridden for weeks and woke up only after Lady Tsunade's treatment after Itachi used his Tsukuyomi on me. He has some good control over his mind.'

The old man looked at the others and said, "Stand down everyone."

Some of the others tried to argue. The boy with glasses spoke first. "We can't have them inside the academy, Professor…"

The old man cut him off firmly. "They do not want any harm to us. If they wanted, most of us would not be alive right now."

Charles remembered how he had been caught in some kind of illusion with just one eye contact with the man.

He had been stuck to a tree and hit with knives. Again and again. It felt like hours. Only a minute had passed outside. He knew he was in an illusion. He tried to break it but his mind refused to listen. He tried to fight but to no avail.

He knew that the man had ended the illusion and that was why he was broken free. It was his telepathic ability to make the memories lock in his mind that he was still conscious or he would be shivering with just the thought of that.

And as he looked at the giant energy construct that the man had summoned that could definitely kill them, he knew that the man had the means to kill him but he did not.

"We will listen to what you have to say. Why you want to meet the mutant. If we find your reason is genuine. We would help you. But if you want to do something that is not the case, we will fight to the last breath," Charles said.

He internally thought, 'And if worse comes to worse, I will remove the seal in Jean's mind.'

Kakashi nodded. He was okay with it.

Kakashi knew that the old man was not exaggerating. He would fight if he did not like what Kakashi and the others wanted.

And as for threat, Kakashi was sure that he could have taken down everyone.

He looked at the other members of the old man's team and he knew that he could take them out too.

He felt danger from only one person, the girl with red hair.

He knew that he could take her down but his instincts were warning him about her. And a shinobi like him always knew to trust his instincts.

Kakashi gave her a onceover before shifting his eyes to the other woman.

And as Charles had called his team to back off, the woman who Tony called a goddess floated downwards.

'She is not bad,' Kakashi thought.

And as Kakashi was looking at her, he felt a bullet slam into his Susanoo.

He looked sideways. Natasha was glaring at him with a huff.

'What did I do?' Kakashi thought confused.
