Sabretooth moved first giving no chance for Deadpool to make another joke. Victor Creed crossed the distance between them in an instant, nails already extended, as he lunged directly for Kakashi.
Kakashi's Sharingan spun tracking every movement, and he barely shifted his head as the nails passed inches from his face.
His hand caught Sabretooth's wrist, and he twisted with the attack's momentum, sending Creed crashing through a metal workstation.
Deadpool immediately drew both pistols and fired at the other Marauders. "Okay!" he shouted as bullets ricocheted around the room. "So apparently the negotiation phase has been cancelled!"
Scalphunter reacted first, his arms morphing into a collection of blades and firearms as he opened fire.
Kakashi disappeared in a burst of speed, and the bullets tore through the place where he had been standing. He reappeared behind Scalphunter, driving an elbow into his spine before grabbing him by the collar and throwing him across the room.
Harpoon raised both hands, and several glowing spears of energy materialized around him before shooting toward Kakashi from different angles.
Kakashi's Sharingan tracked every projectile. He bent backward beneath the first, stepped sideways around the second, and caught the third with a kunai, deflecting it into the ceiling.
Harpoon fired again, this time creating a storm of energy-charged harpoons that filled the laboratory.
Kakashi's hands blurred. "Earth Style: Mud wall Jutsu." The projectiles hit the earth wall that had just spring up from the ground.
As the earth wall got destroyed, Kakashi had already formed another set of seals.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Beast Tracking Fang." A wolf-shaped stream of lightning burst from his hand and tore through the laboratory, striking Harpoon in the chest and throwing him backward.
Deadpool watched from behind a piece of machinery. "Okay, that is objectively cool."
Riptide suddenly spun in place. The air around him erupted with countless razor-sharp projectiles, transforming the entire chamber into a deadly storm.
Kakashi himself moved between the projectiles with impossible precision, but the sheer volume forced him backward.
He slammed his palm against the floor.once again. "Earth Style: Mud Wall." A massive wall erupted from the ground, shielding him from the storm.
The projectiles struck the barrier with enough force to make the entire structure shake.
Deadpool looked at the wall, then at Kakashi. "You know, I have swords." Kakashi glanced at him. "Then use them." Deadpool showing him his swords. "I just wanted you to know I had options too. I might have thousands of options like you but I still have a few."
The earth wall suddenly exploded as Arclight slammed both fists into the ground. A seismic shockwave tore through the laboratory, cracking the floor and throwing everyone off balance.
Kakashi was launched into the air, but he twisted before landing and touched down on the ceiling. Vertigo immediately focused her power on him. Kakashi's vision spun violently, his equilibrium collapsing as the room seemed to rotate around him.
He stumbled, one hand touching the ceiling for support. "That's new," he muttered. Vertigo smiled. "You can't fight if you can't stand." Kakashi closed his eye for a moment. "Who said I needed to stand?"
He looked directly at Vertigo with his Sharingan.
Genjutsu took hold.
The room around her suddenly disappeared. Vertigo found herself standing in an endless black void, surrounded by dozens of Kakashis.
Every copy stared at her silently. She spun around, desperately searching for the real one. "Where are you?" she shouted.
A Kakashi appeared directly behind her. "You should be more careful about where you look." She turned, but the figure vanished. Another appeared to her left. Then another. Then another. The illusion became increasingly disorienting until Vertigo could no longer tell which direction was real.
Back in the laboratory, her eyes went blank.
Kakashi appeared directly in front of her. His hand moved. A kunai flashed across her throat. Vertigo collapsed.
Deadpool stopped firing for half a second.
"Did you just kill her with an eye look?"
Kakashi wiped the blood from his kunai and answered calmly, "No. The eye look just prevented her from reacting."
Deadpool looked at the body.."That's somehow worse."
Kakashi made another set of hand signs. "Lightning Release: False Lightning."
Prism suddenly charged in front of the lightning attack. His body transformed into a crystalline substance, light reflecting across his surface as he absorbed and refracted the energy from Kakashi's lightning attack.
Kakashi's eyes narrowed.
Prism grinned. "Your lightning won't work on me." Kakashi looked at him. Prism's expression changed.
A second later, the air behind Prism distorted.
"Kamui."
Space twisted around Prism's body, and part of his crystalline shoulder vanished into the swirling distortion. Prism staggered backward, desperately trying to stabilize himself.
Prism looked at the missing portion of his body in horror. Kakashi's voice remained cold. "Your crystals can refract energy." His Sharingan spun. "They can't refract space."
Prism tried to attack again, but Kakashi activated Kamui once more but this time using the intangible version. His body became intangible for an instant as Harpoon's energy spear passed directly through his chest.
Kakashi reappeared behind him, already moving. A Chidori formed in his hand, its blue-white lightning illuminating the chamber. He drove it directly through Prism's crystalline torso. The crystalline body shattered under the impact, fragments scattering across the floor as Prism collapsed.
Deadpool stared at the remains.
"Okay."
He looked at Kakashi.
"That's two."
Kakashi looked toward the remaining Marauders. "They're still coming."
