The Marauders dod not back down after two of their members died. Sabretooth came straight for Kakashi while Scalphunter and Harpoon attacked from opposite sides.
Riptide began spinning behind them, filling the air with razor-sharp projectiles, while Arclight drove her fists into the ground to destabilize the floor.
Kakashi's Sharingan tracked everything at once. He could see Sabretooth's muscles tightening before every movement, the angle of Scalphunter's transformed blades, the trajectory of Harpoon's energy weapons, and even the vibrations spreading through the floor from Arclight.
Deadpool ducked behind a ruined console and fired into the chaos, shouting, "I know I'm supposed to be the reckless one, but you people are making some very questionable career choices! You don't fight against Kakashi the copycat ninja unless you have powers at the cosmic level."
Kakashi's hands blurred through seals, and six illusion clones appeared around him. Sabretooth tore through the first with his claws, while Scalphunter cut another in half with a blade extending from his forearm. Harpoon's glowing spears impaled two more, and Riptide's projectiles shredded another before it could even reach its target.
The final clone vanished when Arclight's seismic shockwave swept through the room. For a moment, there was no Kakashi anywhere.
Sabretooth sniffed the air and grinned. "I can smell you." His claws snapped outward as he turned toward the real Kakashi, but Kakashi was already above him, standing upside down against the ceiling. His Sharingan locked onto Creed.
Kakashi dropped from the ceiling with a Chidori blazing in his hand. Sabretooth looked up and raised both claws to intercept it, but Kakashi twisted at the last second and drove his lightning-coated hand into Creed's shoulder instead of his chest.
Electricity exploded through the mutant's body, forcing him backward. Sabretooth roared and swung wildly, but Kakashi ducked beneath the claws and drove his knee into Creed's stomach.
Sabretooth barely moved. He grabbed Kakashi by the vest and slammed him into the floor hard enough to crack the concrete. "Got you," Creed growled.
Kakashi's body suddenly blurred and dispersed into smoke. Sabretooth's expression darkened. "Another clone?" From behind him came Kakashi's voice. "No. A substitution."
The real Kakashi appeared several meters away. He immediately noticed Scalphunter charging toward him with both arms transformed into enormous serrated blades.
Kakashi waited until the last possible moment before activating Kamui. His body became intangible, and Scalphunter's first blade passed harmlessly through his torso. The second followed, slicing through nothing but air.
Kakashi became solid again directly beside him and slammed his palm into Scalphunter's chest. A burst of lightning sent the mutant staggering backward.
Scalphunter transformed his arm into a cannon and fired at point-blank range, but Kakashi twisted aside as the blast destroyed the floor.
Scalphunter snarled, transforming both limbs into blades. "You're running out of tricks." Kakashi's Sharingan spun beneath his forehead protector. "You haven't seen all of them."
Kakashi's gaze met Scalphunter's for an instant, and genjutsu took hold. Scalphunter suddenly found himself standing inside the laboratory alone, surrounded by dozens of versions of Kakashi.
Every copy was holding a different weapon, and every one was approaching him. He transformed his arms into guns and opened fire, but every bullet passed through illusions.
He switched to blades and attacked again, only for another Kakashi to appear behind him. "Which one are you?" Scalphunter shouted.
The real Kakashi stood behind him in the physical world. "The one you didn't notice." His Chidori punched through Scalphunter's back and emerged from his chest. The mutant's body went rigid before collapsing to the floor, his weapons reverting to ordinary limbs.
Harpoon immediately took advantage of Kakashi's distraction. A dozen glowing harpoons materialized around him, each one charged with enough energy to punch through reinforced steel. "Let's see you dodge these!" he shouted as they launched.
Kakashi's Sharingan tracked the projectiles, but instead of dodging, he raised his hand and focused his Mangekyō on the first spear. Space twisted, and the harpoon vanished into Kamui. Another followed. Then another. Harpoon's expression changed as his entire attack disappeared into another dimension.
"What are you doing?" he demanded. Kakashi continued removing each weapon from existence. "Solving the problem."
With the final harpoon gone, Kakashi appeared directly in front of Harpoon. The mutant attempted to summon another weapon, but Kakashi's Chidori was already formed. The lightning blade struck him through the chest, and Harpoon's body collapsed against the remains of the laboratory console.
Deadpool looked over from behind his cover and said, "I'm starting to notice a pattern here. You stab them, they stop being a problem."
Kakashi pulled his hand free and replied, "It's an efficient method." Deadpool nodded. "Very corporate of you."
Before Riptide could make his move, Kakashi looked at him. Space twisted around Riptide.
For a fraction of a second, the mutant's body began disappearing into the dimensional vortex. Riptide screamed and tried to escape the distortion, but half his body disappeared and the rest collapsed in a pool of blood.
Arclight roared and slammed both fists into the ground. The resulting shockwave ripped through the laboratory and sent Kakashi flying. He twisted in midair and landed against the wall, but Arclight was already charging. Her fist came toward his face with enough force to crush stone.
Kakashi raised his arm, but the impact still drove him through the wall. Arclight followed him into the next chamber, determined to finish him.
Arclight attacked again. Kakashi became intangible, allowing her fist to pass through his chest. She stumbled forward, and Kakashi reappeared behind her. His hand crackled with Chidori. He drove it into her back, sending electricity through her body killing her.
Only Sabretooth remained.
Creed emerged from the smoke, blood covering his face as his wounds continued to regenerate. His claws extended as he stalked toward Kakashi. "You killed all of them," he growled.
Kakashi looked around at the fallen Marauders. "They chose this." Sabretooth smiled. "Then I'll avenge them."
He lunged and died as his head seperated from his body by a short sword in Kakashi's hand covering with lightning.
Kakashi then sealed Sabretooth's body in a storage scroll for good measure.
