Sheng Jiayu stood there completely stunned, the cold wind outside still howling, yet she felt none of it.
She watched with wide eyes as Mu Ke walked in, heard the sound of the door closing, and then felt herself being enveloped in a familiar embrace.
But this embrace wasn't as warm as it used to be, carrying the chill from outside, piercingly cold, yet still his familiar scent.
Mu Ke only gave Sheng Jiayu a simple hug, then took her hand and led her inside, moving as naturally as if this were his own home.
