"Did those old guys leave a backup plan?!"
Lady Hecate watched as the soul of the Ancient Tomb King was gradually torn towards the other end of the scale, and she said calmly, "Our death divinity is all an inheritance from them. Why do you think this immortal essence of death belongs to you?"
"Did you slaughter a god, or did you slay the unnameable Old Days?"
Lady Hecate's question left the Ancient Tomb King momentarily stunned, frozen in place.
