UK:GSW Chapter 440 – The Rinnegan's Ability, Conceptual Realization
The Rinnegan — the ultimate power in Shippuden.
Even all the way up to the final battle between Sasuke and Naruto, it remained the ultimate power, because both its floor and its ceiling were fixed in place. It was the very reason Naruto Shippuden was called "the legend of eyeballs."
Its floor was demonstrated when Nagato used the Six Paths of Pain in battle — in that one arc alone, he elevated the combat power of Naruto to "nuclear explosion" levels.
As for its ceiling, that would be the overwhelming might Uchiha Madara displayed, and later Uchiha Sasuke's feat of controlling all nine Tailed Beasts with just one glance, then sealing them all using Chibaku Tensei.
Put simply, this pair of eyes was the most direct symbol of power creep in the Naruto world.
Uchiha Kei had actually experienced the Rinnegan before — specifically, the pair belonging to Uchiha Madara, which he had obtained from Nagato. He had also tasted the power of those eyes.
And he had to admit — they were indeed powerful.
However, they had never truly belonged to Uchiha Kei. After "equipping" them, there was always a sense of rejection, and he couldn't fully control them. Worse, they disabled his ability to use his own Mangekyo Sharingan techniques. While they did enhance his strength, the "mechanics" side of his abilities took an epic-level hit.
To put it in gaming terms, "equipping" Madara's Rinnegan was like raising raw stats and gaining some special skills, but having many critical core abilities sealed away.
Now that he had awakened his own Rinnegan, the sensation was completely different.
His stats received a massive boost — far greater than when he was "equipping" Madara's Rinnegan. After all, original is better than second-hand; nothing strange about that.
To Kei's delight, awakening the Rinnegan not only gave him the standard Rinnegan abilities, but it also strengthened his Mangekyo Sharingan powers. For example, his Heroic Spirit Manifestation ability now allowed the manifested Heroic Spirits to level up and be strengthened. This upgrade could even integrate with the Mental Network World — Kei could now give his Heroic Spirits their own personal stat panels, making them truly worthy of being called the Fourth Calamity, and upgrade them directly using various game mods.
Although there was still a cap to this kind of training — it wasn't limitless — if even someone like Hashirama Senju could further upgrade himself, then clearly that cap was absurdly high, far beyond what most people could even dream of reaching in their lifetimes.
Another Mangekyo ability of his — the character datafication effect known as the "O-God Start" skill — had also received a notable boost. Its duration had increased, and it gained a new "Enhance" effect, allowing him to bestow various buff effects straight out of video games. Though the magnitude and number of buffs were limited, stacking them all together could increase the target's strength by up to fivefold — yes, these buffs were the glorious percentage-based kind.
If this were purely a Rinnegan ability, such a level of enhancement would be outrageous and would inevitably require something special like the Sage Body or the Eight Gates, both of which demanded steep risks and intense training.
However, because this ability was integrated with Kei's Mental Network mastery — bound to his system-given powers — its effects became codified into rules.
And anything that was "rule-based," whether a skill or an item, tended to be broken and completely unreasonable.
On top of that, Kei's unique Rinnegan-exclusive ability had also awakened — and merged directly with his Mental Network System — creating a miracle.
No, it should be called a myth.
Originally, this ability consumed ocular power to manifest whatever one imagined into reality. It was somewhat similar to Shirou Emiya's projection ability in the TYPE-MOON series — limited in duration, low in durability, and easy to destroy.
The consumption was also significant, making it something one couldn't casually use. After all, an ability that directly altered and interfered with reality was bound to exact a heavy toll. Even with the Rinnegan's full-body super-enhancement, it wasn't something to use lightly.
Unless one had the Asura or Indra reincarnation chakra buffs plus the Sage of Six Paths' cheat-like aid, or had become the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki like Madara, Kei was simply wielding the power of a god with a mortal body — and that was no small burden.
But the thing was — Kei had a system.
When this ability was also combined with the Mental Network System, the situation changed entirely.
The cost was still large, but Kei could now directly link that cost through the Mental Network — or "Genjutsu Network," as he called it publicly — to share it with others. The classic "lend me your energy" or "let's all become light together" move — distributing the burden to anyone willing to help him.
Among them, the Heroic Spirits could bear the cost — without their consent — since they were, in truth, Kei's property.
In other words, the more Heroic Spirits Kei summoned, the greater his minimum guaranteed risk distribution.
And beyond this shared-cost safety net, the Rinnegan's conceptual realization ability had also been strengthened by binding it to the Mental Network System. Now that his Mental Network System was Level 5, it had countless materials and mods stored within it — all of which could be manifested through this skill.
Its duration and persistence had also been codified into rules by the system's integration. And because it was a game system, everything was datafied.
Originally, the cost varied depending on the strength and effect of what was manifested — overly absurd things could even drain Kei completely dry.
But with game datafication, the cost became fixed, and the duration ranged from 5 to 30 minutes.
The fixed cost was tied to how long the manifested object existed.
Simply put — this ability was beyond broken. Absolutely insane.
However, due to the game datafication, many built-in game balance effects came along with it. For example, even if he manifested a Tsar Bomba, its destructive limit would be capped at wiping out an area the size of Konoha #2 — a hard-coded power limit.
Similarly, if he manifested a combatant — even a Dragon Ball warrior — their maximum output would be capped at the "Super Kage" level.
That was because Kei himself was currently at the Super Kage tier, and all manifested things were bound by his own power ceiling. The rules were thorough, covering nearly everything, the result of the system instantly recalculating all the mechanics.
Kei could only say — this might not be "ninja," but it was absolutely "system" and very much "game."
And of course, this ceiling wasn't permanent — it would rise alongside Kei's own strength, just like how a player's skills in a game grow stronger as the character levels up.
The key point was the glorious power inflation that came from game datafication.
For this ability, Kei immediately thought of something similar from another series — TYPE-MOON.
But not Shirou Emiya's projection — rather, a character many considered obscure: Arcueid Brunestud, who possessed the ability of "Conceptual Realization." In TYPE-MOON, the "moon" referred to this princess, though she was overshadowed by the sheer weight of the Fate IP.
Conceptual Realization, simply put, was the super-enhanced-plus-ultra version of Shirou's projection — top-tier in every way. In the lore, Arcueid could even manifest the moon itself to crush her enemies.
Of course, not the real moon — otherwise, an Earth–Moon collision would be GG for the world.
Still, the ability was ridiculously overpowered. Kei felt it perfectly suited his unique Rinnegan skill, and he disliked following the Uchiha and Otsutsuki tradition of naming techniques after Japanese deities.
So, he named this move "Conceptual Realization."
This was the result of awakening the Rinnegan — a power-up so massive that even Vergil would rush over swinging Yamato.
Without question, this was an epic-level enhancement — the kind that made Kei feel he could face peak Madara without fear.
It couldn't be helped — it really was terrifyingly strong.
That said, Kei wasn't the type to run around picking fights. So after letting the excitement swell a bit, he calmed himself down.
Of course, power is meant to be used. If you have it and don't use it, what's the point of the upgrade?
Coincidentally, there would soon be some business to take care of in Konoha #2 — the perfect chance to put his power to use.
He could also test it on his good friend Minato Namikaze — and knowing Minato, he wouldn't refuse.
Then, Kei turned his attention to the other rewards from completing his mission.
The Rinnegan was just a bonus from upgrading his Mental Network Mastery to Level 5 — and that upgrade itself was only one of many rewards.
Aside from Mental Network Mastery LV5, he had also received three other gold-tier items.
The first was a passive skill called "Efficiency Above All," which increased his subordinates' thinking speed by 50% during work, massively boosted inspiration rate, and greatly improved focus and energy recovery speed. It could be anchored to a maximum of 500 people at once — targets chosen by the host or randomly assigned.
The skill description was, in classic game-system style:
"Work hard! Strive! To become a top-tier game producer, you must ensure your subordinates put in 1000% passion during work! Only through united effort can you create a peerless masterpiece and crush the competition across the whole damn world!"
In other words — the system once again encouraged him to be the kind of heartless capitalist who'd end up strung up on a lamppost.
If Kei were still on Earth making games, this would've been an excellent way to boost his company's development speed and quality.
But here in the shinobi world, Kei was far more than just a game producer. He had a lot of "employees" — over 200,000 by system standards — including two hundred thousand White Zetsu across two worlds, plus others.
Even Orochimaru's research staff were considered Kei's subordinates by the system. This meant that once activated, the skill would greatly boost the thinking speed of all those people.
With a cap of 500 people, he could cover all of Orochimaru's core research team, plus staff from other labs.
In short, it was a permanent, super-science buff — in farming-sim terms, a glorious percentage-increase god-skill.
Kei could hardly imagine how much more insane Orochimaru's team could get with it active.
Naturally, Kei wouldn't just silently turn it on — he'd tell Orochimaru and the others, then activate it in front of them. The excuse was ready-made: just say it was a Rinnegan ability.
He wanted the credit. He wanted everyone to know his greatness.
On Earth, he'd have to do this quietly — unless he wanted to be "invited" for questioning by the authorities.
From that perspective, transmigrating to the shinobi world with this ridiculous system was a blessing — things that would seem suspicious on Earth were easily accepted in a world of the supernatural.
As for the other two gold-tier rewards — they were both items.
The first was… a spaceship.
Yes, literally a spaceship — the kind that could fly into outer space.
A single-person craft, simple to operate, looking like a rocket. Its propulsion system was unknown, and its destination was fixed — a round trip to the moon.
That's right — this item was a locked Earth–Moon transport, usable only for flying to the moon and then coming back.
