UK:GSW Chapter 453 – The Hokage's Dream-Come-True Moment, A Must-Try: Activate the Magic Card — Monster Reborn!

In the end, after being persuaded by both reasoning and emotion, Second Hashirama finally agreed to the resurrection.

After all, if he still refused, Second Hashirama felt like he'd become a sinner for the ages — when dealing with someone like Hashirama Senju, directly using moral coercion and standing on the moral high ground to point fingers was the most effective tactic. So they brought up the alien Ōtsutsuki issue, explaining that the ninja world was constantly under extreme threat, the kind that Second Ninja World couldn't handle on its own. Although the main world existed, that was another world — it could help, but the responsibility of protecting this world couldn't be handed to others. The people of the Second Ninja World had to stand up for themselves.

This wishy-washy attitude from Second Hashirama was basically dragging the Second Ninja World into the gutter, leading everyone to death, all to satisfy his own self-righteous moral sense — making the entire Second Ninja World pay for his moral superiority. It was, without question, selfish and disgusting behavior.

"How can you be so selfish?"

This direct rebuke at Second Hashirama made him shut down instantly, triggering self-doubt. He began to think his beliefs really were wrong — after all, everyone said he was wrong, and even his younger brother, Tobirama Senju, didn't speak up for him.

So, he figured he must have made a huge mistake this time.

One good habit Hashirama had was that once he realized he was wrong, he corrected himself quickly — aside from his hopeless gambling habit, everything else was fine. Like now, once Second Hashirama thought he was wrong, he immediately changed course, quickly accepting the resurrection plan and expressing that he'd actively cooperate and contribute his own strength.

In short — apologize first, admit the mistake, and stop letting others criticize you. Otherwise, he'd end up sulking forever in some dark corner, covered in black lines like a mushroom.

Yes, this was the real face of Hashirama Senju, the so-called God of Shinobi.

And so, under these circumstances, the group was led through the interdimensional gate, arriving at Rōran in the main world.

There, they directly met the elderly Madara Uchiha.

The moment he saw Madara, Tobirama instinctively tensed up, staring intently at him. The others also studied this so-called Shura of the Ninja World with curiosity.

Among them, Minato Namikaze's expression was complicated. Back during the Nine-Tails' attack, he thought the mysterious Uchiha attacker was Madara, and hated him for it.

But now, seeing the Madara Uchiha of another world — years older than during the Nine-Tails incident — Minato was certain the masked man he saw back then was not Madara. Obviously, since Naruto hadn't yet had time to explain to his own father about what happened back then, Second Minato didn't know the full story.

Seeing this other-world Madara now, Minato realized the mysterious masked man from that night absolutely wasn't him.

More importantly, they'd already explained before coming here that in this world's history, Madara had faked his death after the battle at the Valley of the End and later awakened the Rinnegan. In Second Ninja World's history, Madara had truly died near the end of the Third Great Ninja War.

Just by the timeline alone, it didn't match — so Second Minato's feelings were complicated.

As for Hashirama — when he saw Madara, he went straight into a silent staring match with him, as if a lifetime's worth of thoughts and feelings passed in that instant.

Finally, Hashirama broke into a bright grin.

"Madara, so you're not dead! You really fooled me back then — I honestly thought you were gone!"

Madara snorted.

"Hmph. In that battle back then, I never intended to kill you, Hashirama. But you — you struck to kill. Tell me, after that kind of 'betrayal,' do you think I'd want to see you again?"

Hashirama's smile froze, turning to awkwardness, then guilt.

"Uh… back then, I was too extreme. I didn't understand your intentions, Madara. Sorry about that… How about I kneel and bow to you now?"

He actually started to kneel right there.

Madara's face twitched. The others looked stunned, while Tobirama's face turned black as ink. He stepped forward and yanked Hashirama up, scolding coldly:

"Idiot big brother! Don't do something so stupid!"

Hashirama looked wronged.

"But I really didn't understand Madara's true feelings back then… and I ended up doing that to him…"

Tobirama's face was grim.

"No matter what Madara was thinking back then, it's an undeniable fact that he brought the Nine-Tails to attack the Hidden Leaf. You only did what a Hokage should do. If anyone's to blame, it's him — for not explaining things clearly and acting self-righteously."

At that, he shot Madara a cold glance. Madara just snorted and didn't refute.

Because after learning the truth and thinking back on his actions, even Madara himself wanted to go back in time and kick his younger self, telling him not to do something so stupid.

When he didn't know the truth, he could convince himself it was all "for the great cause of peace in the ninja world," proudly enduring loneliness as a seeker of truth.

But now that he knew the truth… it was pure foolishness — a gullible pawn tricked by a schemer into doing something incredibly stupid.

Well, some black history can't be erased, but you absolutely have to hide your real feelings about it. Never let people know.

So, the best response was just a proud snort.jpg.

Madara had actually learned this attitude from a video game. In The Last Ninja, there were all sorts of vivid characters, some of whose personalities and stories deeply impressed him — and he thought their code of conduct was worth learning.

In reality, people were always worse at looking cool than fictional characters — even in the ninja world, pulling off coolness required the right timing and setting.

At least, that's what Old Man Madara believed now.

After some persuasion, Hashirama cheered up. He looked at Madara with a sigh.

"Looks like you've been living pretty well in this world, Madara! You're so old now, but still so… round, and your chakra feels strong. Not like in your prime, but definitely better than when I was on my deathbed."

Hearing this, the others looked at Madara again and realized he did look healthy. By ninja world standards, that round build screamed "good life." His appearance lacked the fierce dignity they'd imagined — instead, his rounded look gave off a strange, kindly air, like an amiable old man.

So this was what the Shura of the Ninja World looked like in old age? Completely different from what they'd pictured.

Only those from the main world knew how much he'd changed in the past year. Today's Madara had little in common with the one from a year ago.

Good living, constant good moods — for a bitter old man, it was the best medicine.

Of course, there was also the "Otaku Meal" super-dimensional nutritional packs from the system. While they were rapidly transforming the fearsome Madara into something closer to an "otaku Madara," they'd dramatically improved his health.

On Earth, it would be a medical miracle — a man near a hundred, doubling his weight in under a year, going from skin-and-bones to plump without keeling over from high blood pressure or heart disease.

But the physiology of a ninja-world plant-man wasn't something Earth medicine could compare to.

And so, in this state, Madara revealed his Rinnegan and announced the resurrection ritual was about to begin.

No time for extra talk — the priority was to restore all these Edo Tensei resurrected dead back to life.

In the main world, the ritual site was ready, equipped with special apparatus, connected via the genjutsu network directly to the tailed beasts — meaning their chakra would fuel the process.

And not just nine — eleven tailed beasts in total.

In addition to the nine from Second Ninja World, there was the Nine-Tails from the main world.

Just earlier, the half of the Nine-Tails inside Minato had been extracted and placed into the genjutsu world. By now, that was done.

This made eleven in total.

Yes — the Eight-Tails had also been captured.

When the Hidden Cloud of Second Ninja World was destroyed, Killer Bee was taken alive, and the Eight-Tails was subdued soon after.

The Eight-Tails had no power to resist, but negotiated to spare Killer Bee's life — even if he would have to live on as a normal person.

Both Hidden Leafs agreed. Bee survived through certain methods devised by Orochimaru's group, his chakra sealed away, now living under soft confinement in the main world's Hidden Leaf.

It was a huge blow for Bee, but with the privilege of playing in the genjutsu world, it wasn't all bad. Over time, the allure of that game — and the fact the world had changed — would erode his pain and will for revenge. If not, the Leaf had more… "forceful" measures available, like memory erasure.

The Eight-Tails only wanted Bee alive — whether or not he kept his memories wasn't part of the deal.

And so, for the resurrection, eleven tailed beasts' chakra was used.

They didn't need to be present — the genjutsu network transmitted their chakra without loss.

With the tailed beasts' cooperation, Orochimaru's prepared ritual site, technical guidance from Hamura Ōtsutsuki, and Madara's Rinnegan as the core, they simulated the Ten-Tails' chakra.

Using this ultimate chakra, they cast the perfect form of the Rinne Rebirth — Six Paths: Rinne Rebirth — without any life sacrifice.

The tailed beasts felt massive chakra drain instantly.

But they immediately grabbed "Otaku Meals" from Uchiha Kei, eating heartily. Under the system's effects, their chakra recovery surged, and they regained most of what was lost within moments.

Hacks were indeed wonderful.

Thus, the main world's Hidden Leaf easily met the chakra cost, and the Edo Tensei bodies began to break apart, their false shells peeling away like old skin, revealing living flesh beneath.

It was a feeling totally unlike Edo Tensei — the feeling of truly being alive.

For some, though, it wasn't perfect — like Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, who revived without eyes.

Clearly, their Sharingan had been taken after death. Edo Tensei bodies weren't the original flesh, but this Edo+Rinne Rebirth combo worked the same way — just like how Madara was revived in the original story.

It was just "hard-coded" that way.jpg.

Fortunately, they'd prepared spare cloned three-tomoe Sharingan for Fugaku and Mikoto, transplanted on the spot by Tsunade — proving once again that Sharingan were plug-and-play.

The resurrection was a complete success. The first batch's data was collected and immediately analyzed by Orochimaru's team — invaluable for studying souls, chakra, and the nature of death in the ninja world.

Researchers seize every chance to study what they see.

With Uchiha Kei's support, and the genjutsu world's time dilation plus the real world's Hidden Leaf resources, Orochimaru's group's tech was decades ahead of even Boruto-era science, with some black-tech exceeding that gap.

It was no wonder the rogue sannin had no intention of leaving — for seekers of knowledge, this was the closest place to truth in the ninja world.

For the revived, it was pure joy — reuniting with loved ones, crying in each other's arms. Something Edo Tensei bodies could never experience.

Every scene was broadcast via the genjutsu network to those not present.

In the Hidden Leaf, Minato and Kushina watched as their counterparts embraced Naruto in tears — deeply moved, happy, and quietly hopeful for the day they could have their own child.

It might be Naruto… or Naruko.

Either way, they'd love that child unconditionally.

Meanwhile, Fugaku and Mikoto of the main world also watched. While moved, they felt a strange pang — since Second Sasuke had been their "son" for months, and now the real parents were back, it felt like having their excellent child taken away.

Well, surprises often came without warning. There was nothing they could do.

For the Senju family, the scene was… special.

Especially for "Muzi," who found watching his best friend gaze so "deeply" at another version of himself just plain weird.

The kind of weird that makes you think: "That's strange… but I can't stop looking."

Some things had a unique, bizarre kind of beauty.
