He'd been referring to a renard briskly wagging her tail, and a chienthrope oddly warming up to him. Though they both had people they cared for, and falling in love with, they felt a warm connection to Shurry.
"EEP! My apologies Alpha Shurry." Nazza blushed red and bowed. "You just… felt warm for some reason. And…" She cutely put a loosely closed hand over her mouth, turning away, stealing glances. "You smell so nice… I couldn't help myself."
Haruhime had continued to push forward, and laid her head in Shurry's lap, embarrassed, but warm. "You feel so cozy and warm… Like nothing could ever dare to bring harm to me… Like a protective big brother, but also cute like a little brother." She spoke, closing her eyes as her tail brushed the air.
"Pfft… You're not the first one to feel that way. No need to feel embarrassed by it. All Wolves, and other canines whether they be pets, beasts, monsters, or people, feel an overwhelming respect for me. It's actually because of this effect that I was given the name Origin Wolf." Shurry chuckled as he explained. Gently petting Haruhime's head.
"That's some crazy power you've got. I'd bet it brings you a lot of trouble." Miach said with a soft giggle of his own, one which nearly melted Nazza into a puddle.
Shurry smiled, warmly. "I have my fair share of problems. In all honesty, coming here to this timeline was a shared effort between myself and Chaos. Which means I won't be struggling to maintain my existence here, unlike Bell when he came back in time." He said, then sighed and looked at Nazza's arm. "Would you like me to return your arm to you, little sister Nazza?"
"Huh?" Nazza panicked. "What do you mean?"
"I can heal any and all injuries, and when it comes to canines like you, I can do it with a thought. But you seem to enjoy that arm as a symbol of your god's love. Which is why I asked instead." He expressed, causing her blush even harder.
"Lord Miach took on a huge debt to pay for this arm…"
"I can just pay off that debt… It's less than a 100 million by now, right? Won't take but a few hours. And this way you can set it up in an altar, it's a gift to you."
"You should do it Nazza, receive this gift from your big brother." Miach said, with a warm smile. "Know this, I will support your choice either way."
Nazza stood in shocked silence as the others were curious to see what would happen… They really wanted to see it for themselves, but no one knew for certain if he could truly pull it off, except for one.
"Miss Nazza, I know it's not my place. I promise his words are not lies. I've personally seen his ability up close and personal. People on the verge of death, suddenly alive and well ready to fight anew." Bell said, trying to think of specific examples. "Oh yeah, that's right, There was a woman who lost her breast and arm during the war against Evilus, and then his moonlight restored her to full. She was rather insistent upon showing everything off…" He chuckled nervously.
"Nazza, I would never give any of my own kin any false hope."
"It's just, I'd need to… Be topless…"
"Is that a problem?" Shurry asked.
"HEUH?" Hestia exclaimed. "Of course it's a problem! Nazza's a lady for crying outloud, you want her to bear her woman hood in front of everyone?"
"Lady Hestia. Worrying about things such as decent is the leading cause of death among female adventurers. Your idea is ludicrous and condemns them to death." Shurry said with a short snarl before controlling himself again. "I've seen it first hand… once their clothes are gone, they always lose heart. One must conquer this fear, not just women, men as well. Once your embarrassment is under complete control, you'll be able to handle anything and everything thrown your way with 100% of your strength. Instead of just a weak shell." He said.
"It's the difference between being an egg, or being adamantite." Bell added, remembering the phrase Hathor familia had in Shurry's timeline.
"But! That's Lewd!"
"No, being nude is simply one's natural state. It only becomes lewd when one thinks of things like mating." Shurry said flatly.
"Hmm, you have a point there, Origin Wolf." Take said, rubbing his chin. "In the far east there's coed baths dotted all around. And warriors usually take pride in their bodies."
"What, Take, you gotta be with me on this." Hestia said with an expression conveying her struggle to understand.
"Sorry Hestia, while I do not force my children into similar circumstances, I do think it would only prove to benefit them. If they wanted to try it out, I would not stop them." He said, closing his eyes with a sigh.
"What about you Miach? You're with me on this one, right?"
"Sorry Hestia, I think you're alone on this one. Origin Wolf's made some valid points that I can't refute. That said, it is ultimately up to the individual, though I'm certain he already understands this." Miach said with a flat expression. "If his idea would be the difference in whether our children came back home to us alive, from their adventures in the dungeon, I think it would be a small price to pay, and one I would support them in."
"Well then why don't they just walk around all naked or whatever?"
"Because, that's not what it's about, Goddess." Bell interjected before anyone else. "It's only meant to be something for people to get used to over time. The best place to get the most benefit with the least effort, would be in the bath, where one knows everyone is there to clean themselves, it's the most ideal spot to get used to it."
"Even my own child, my captain no less. Bell, why!?"
"He literally told you already." Shurry sighed.
While Hestia complained, Nazza spoke her answer.
"Alpha Shurry…" She took her top off, exposing her upper body, and placed her left arm over her breasts. "I'm not fully comfortable yet, but I would like my arm. Maybe, if I have it… I can go on adventures with my familia again…" She explained.
"I knew you would understand." Shurry stood, and disconnected the silver arm, and then with a single tap of his finger on her shoulder, Nazza's arm regenerated in a single second.
