They both stood on branches of trees as they stared into each other's eyes with flat expressions. Personally, Michael was pissed, his mind couldn't help but imagine the number of Soldiers he would have lost if the Tenth Sun hadn't discovered the underground bunker.
After this battle, when he got back, he would have Soldiers constantly sense underground areas from this point forward. Although the Velkarin Empire wouldn't try something like this again, as only a fool would repeat such a tactic, it didn't mean they would leave this blind spot open.
So, artefacts and Soldiers who possessed Earth Affinity would be deployed once in a while to sense underground areas as deeply as they could.
