When the couple was near the top part of the broken stairs, Kevin jumped down and landed on the ground before turning to Michelle and holding his hand out to her.
Michelle held one of Kevin's fingers before she jumped down and landed on the ground. "Now to place the charges," she said.
When Kevin looked forward, he saw white tape shaped like an 'X' on a large tank. "That tank should be a good start," he said.
Michelle nodded before the couple approached the tank; when they were close, one of the mining charges emerged from Kevin's right hand before he placed it on the 'X'. Michelle spotted a large blue pipe with a white 'X' on it before approaching it.
When Michelle was close to the pipe, she grabbed the mining charge in her right pocket and pulled it out before placing it on the 'X'.
The couple approached different metal support bars with two white 'X's in the gap before placing the charges on them. "Now we have to reroute the Red Smoke into the foundation," Michelle said before looking at the valve handles and the tanks. "How do we go about that?"
As Kevin walked around the area, he spotted a poster on the wall near the stairs. "Misha," he said, which made Michelle turn to him. "Over here."
Michelle approached Kevin before looking at the poster. "I see... if we want to overload it, all the lights need to turn green," she said before humming. "Weird... usually red and green mean something different, but in this case, red is good while green is bad."
After the couple climbed the stairs, they spotted a machine with a purple slot next to a door before approaching it. Michelle looked at the purple keycard in her left hand before looking at the machine and putting it inside the slot, which opened the door.
After the couple entered the room, Michelle spotted a note on the computer screen before approaching it. "It's an operation note," she said as she grabbed it and pulled it off.
As Michelle read the note, she had angry eyes. "It would've been nice to know the instructions, but some dickhead tore the paper in half," she continued before crumpling the paper and tossing it to the ground. "Stupid motherfuckers..."
Kevin approached the keyboard before carefully pressing the Enter button, which made a beeping noise, and a few of the large blue pipes filled with Red Smoke, before looking at Michelle. "We'll go on a whim," he said.
Michelle took a deep breath and annoyingly sighed before nodding. "Right..." she said, lowly, before the couple left the room.
When the couple reached the bottom of the stairs, Michelle looked at the handle holding the Red Smoke in the pipe before aiming at it and pulling the right trigger.
The purple hand shot forward and grabbed the handle before pulling it, which caused the Red Smoke to move up and right.
After the purple hand retracted back to Michelle, Kevin looked at the closest turn handle before stretching his arm toward it; he grabbed it before turning it up, which caused the Red Smoke to move up.
The couple looked up and saw Red Smoke enter the storage tank labeled 'B' before it lit up. "So far that's one down," Michelle said.
The Red Smoke in the tank turned yellow before going through different pipes. Michelle looked at the third turn handle on the higher level before aiming at it and pulling the right trigger.
The purple hand shot forward and grabbed the turn valve before turning it, which made the Red Smoke go up. Soon after, the Red Smoke entered the storage tank labeled 'C' before it lit up and went through a different pipe.
Michelle aimed at the third turn handle, somewhat near the storage tank, before pulling the left trigger. The blue hand shot forward and grabbed the turn handle before turning it, which made the Red Smoke go up.
Kevin stretched both arms toward the other higher turn handles before turning them, which made the Red Smoke go up. Soon after, the Red Smoke entered the storage tank labeled 'A' before it turned green.
Michelle turned to the tank with the mining charge and looked at the pipe with a handle on it before aiming at it. "Now to pull this one to begin," she said before pulling the right trigger.
The purple hand shot forward and grabbed the handle before pulling it; after Michelle retracted it, the handle moved forward, which stopped the Red Smoke.
Soon after, alarms started going off, which made the couple look up. "That should do it," Michelle said before the couple sprinted toward the stairs and quickly climbed them.
After the couple entered the room, Michelle spotted an Omni-Hand scanner before twisting the knob, switching from the purple hand to the Omni-Hand, and quickly approaching it. "Try to hold your breath," she said.
Kevin nodded as Michelle aimed at the scanner and pulled the right trigger, launching the Omni-Hand and touching it. After the scanner finished, the third Omni-Hand charge went dark; soon after, Red Smoke started filling the room.
As the couple covered their noses and mouths, the door tried to open, but it kept opening and closing a bit, which annoyed Michelle. "Well, that's just great..." she said in a muffled voice.
Kevin looked at the locker and spotted a gear through the gaps before digging his left claws into the door part and tearing it off. "Misha!" he shouted in a muffled voice.
Michelle aimed at the gear. "Way ahead of you," she said in a muffled voice before pulling the left trigger, launching the blue hand, and grabbing the gear.
After the blue hand retracted, Kevin quickly approached Michelle and picked her up before going through the opening behind them. Kevin spotted the handle above them before stretching his left arm toward it.
Kevin grabbed the handle before he pulled himself up; Michelle spotted the mechanism before aiming the gear and pulling the left trigger. The blue hand shot forward and placed the gear inside the mechanism, which made the door stay open.
After Kevin let go and landed on the ground, a few of the Nightmare Critters landed on the opposite side, growling. "We can't risk shooting a flare in here; we have to move!" Michelle shouted in a muffled voice.
Kevin nodded and sprinted through the opening before going through the door, while a few of the Nightmare Critters followed them.
After the couple uncovered their noses and mouths, Kevin spotted a broken barricade before jumping down; after he landed on the ground, he sprinted forward.
As Kevin went down the ramp, Allister Gator hopped out of a hole in the wall before facing the couple, which made him snarl and raise his left arm. "Out of my way!" he shouted before slamming it against the ground, which startled him, before running away.
Kevin turned left and sprinted forward; Michelle spotted a lift with a fence gate on it in the distance. "There's the lift!" she shouted.
When Kevin stopped near the lift, he pressed the button with his left hand; as they waited, a few of the Nightmare Critters and feral Mini Huggies approached the couple.
Kevin faced the smaller, feral toys and roared, which startled a few of them and made them run away. Soon after, the lift reached the bottom before the fenced gate opened, which made Michelle look at it. "The lift's here!" she shouted.
Kevin quickly got on the lift, which caused the fenced gate to close; after he placed Michelle on the lift, the lift's gate closed.
A few of the Nightmare Critters got on the fenced gate and stared at the couple before the lift went up. When the lift reached the top, the lift's gate and the fenced gate opened, which made the couple sprint forward.
Michelle looked at Kevin as they reached the opening. "We should head back to Safe Haven and—" before she could finish her sentence, a pink slime arm wrapped around her, which made her yelp before being lifted a bit.
The couple looked at the source and saw Katelynn and Doey, which surprised them. "You two, what are you doing here?" Kevin asked.
Katelynn looked at the couple. "The Prototype... we lost track of him in the tunnels," she said.
Doey looked at the couple. "Have either of you seen him?" he asked.
Michelle shook her head. "No, we haven't," she said.
Doey looked at the couple. "Do you know if you saw him at the foundation?" he asked. "Or was he..."
The group heard the small toys' laughter and an echoey sizzle, which made them look around. "W-What? What's going on; he's..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Doey covered his mouth a bit. "We led him away, didn't we? The generator's fine; it's—" he was interrupted when the group heard an explosion, which made their eyes widen.
The group turned to the back and saw smoke and fire coming from Safe Haven, which distressed Doey. "Oh no..." he said, lowly, before approaching the pipe.
Michelle turned her head to the pipe as Doey went inside it. "Wait, Doey!" she shouted.
Katelynn placed Michelle on the ground. "You and Big Brother go the other way; I'll follow Doey," she said.
The couple nodded as Katelynn approached the pipe and entered. "Let's move," Kevin said, which made Michelle nod, before they sprinted forward.

After the couple entered the Waste Water Plant, they crossed the bridge and got on the lift. After the lift lowered, the couple sprinted out of the room before turning right.
As the couple ran past a dark part in the sewer, a glowing yellow eye appeared, and they deviously chuckled before they disappeared.
When the couple was close to the large grille, they heard screaming, which shocked them. "That was Jack!" Michelle shouted before they sprinted faster.
When the couple reached the wormhole, Michelle lowered the GrabPack arms before they went through. After Michelle got out of the wormhole and looked forward, she gasped and covered her mouth, horrified.
When Kevin got out of the wormhole, his eyes widened when he saw multiple mini Smiling Critter corpses scattered around the infirmary along with the medical cots, shelves, and dividers knocked to the ground. "What..." he said, lowly.
After the couple went through the infirmary's hallway and entered the main room, they were mortified when they saw Jack crying before a mini Bobby BearHug corpse.
At the same time, Katelynn kneeled beside Jack and rubbed his back while Matthew looked away with destroyed concrete surrounding the area, devastated.
Unbeknownst to the group, a glowing yellow eye appeared in a small hole above the roof. "Yes... feel the anguish..." the Prototype whispered. "Feel the pain... feel the anger..."
As Kevin stared at the main room in horror, his body started bubbling. "Destroy those that get in my way..." the Prototype whispered.
"No..." Michelle said, lowly, which made Kevin freeze up, and his body stopped bubbling.
When Kevin turned his head to Michelle, he saw her tears falling from her eyes as she shook her head. "No, no, no, no, no..." she said before sprinting forward.
When Michelle was close to a small piece of broken concrete, she lifted it with a grunt before pushing it away and looking at the ground. Kevin stared at Michelle as she approached a different piece of concrete and pushed it away while looking. "Misha," he said.
Michelle started hyperventilating a bit and looked at Kevin. "Th-There have to be survivors around here somewhere," she said. "There have to be!"
Michelle frantically looked around the destroyed room. "Hey! If you can hear me, shout or scream for us!" she shouted.
Kevin looked down and clenched his fists before approaching Michelle. "Please, let us help you! Let us get you out of here!!" she shouted.
When Kevin was close to Michelle, he wrapped his arms around her, which shocked her. "That's enough," he said.
When Michelle turned her head to Kevin, she saw his somber eyes and frown. "It's gone..." he said, lowly.
Michelle stared at Kevin, mortified, before looking down; she gritted her teeth with tears falling from her eyes. Soon after, Michelle turned to Kevin and wrapped her arms around him while loudly crying against his chest, which broke his heart.
The couple collapsed to the ground on their knees before Kevin lay his head on top of Michelle's and gently stroked her back as she continued crying. The trio stared at the couple. "Big Sister..." Katelynn said, lowly, with black slime tears pricking her eyes.
Matthew wrapped his arms around himself before looking at the fallen concrete. "We're so, SO sorry... we failed you..." he said, lowly. "None of you deserved this..."
When Matthew looked at Jack, he wiped his dark teal dough tears away and nodded before standing up. Matthew and Jack approached Kevin before placing their hands on his shoulders, which made him glance at them.
Kevin looked at Michelle and gently petted her head while she was crying with a slightly strained voice before closing his eyes. Soon after, the trio fused into Doey before he carried Michelle in his arms and stood up.
Doey looked at the pathway on the left before turning to Katelynn. "C'mon... let's leave this place..." he said, lowly.
Katelynn nodded. "Right..." she said, lowly, as she stood up before she and Doey went through the left pathway.
