As the group was outside the room, Michelle looked around. "Let's see... where would the other disks be?" she asked herself.
When Michelle turned her head to the left, she saw the words 'Lullaby Room' near the blocked boxes. "There might be something important in the Lullaby Room," she said before approaching it. "Let's head there."
The group nodded before following Michelle; when the group was close to the boxes, she looked at the screen. "Something tells me their 'Lullaby Room' is a red herring," she continued while making quotation marks when she said Lullaby Room.
CatNap nodded. "Astute as always, Angel," he said as his claws extended and grabbed the large yellow box. "This area was used to brainwash toys into forgetting their past human lives."
Michelle frowned as a Mommy Long Legs grabbed a different, larger box while Huggy Wuggy wrapped his arm around a smaller box. "How awful..." she said. "Having all of your memories taken away from you... it must've been hard to go through..."
CatNap dug his claws into a different box and turned his head to Michelle. "It was... difficult... but we managed," he said as he pulled the box away from the pathway.
After CatNap placed the box on the ground, he turned to Michelle. "However, there were those I would consider to be lucky," he continued before looking at Katelynn. "Especially her..."
Katelynn was surprised and pointed at herself. "How was I lucky?" she asked. "I couldn't remember my past; hell, I completely forgot about Big Brother and Big Sister for half a decade."
Michelle realized something and looked at Katelynn. "And that's why you'd be considered lucky," she said, which made her look at her. "Since you had no memories of your past life, all they needed to do was convince you that you were a toy from the start."
CatNap nodded. "Precisely..." he said. "Though it may be a double-edged sword, Angel was able to pull you out of that darkness and into the light..."
Katelynn stared at CatNap before looking down and placing her hand against her head. Michelle gently smiled as she approached Katelynn and held her hand in both of hers, which made her look at her. "Memories or no memories, I would've treated you the same way," she said.
Katelynn stared at Michelle before smiling and hugging her while wagging her tail. "And this is why you're one of the best, Big Sister," she said.
Michelle chuckled and petted Katelynn's head; unbeknownst to the duo, Doey stared at them before looking away. CatNap looked at the duo with happy eyes. "I expect nothing less from our Angel of Hope," he said.
Michelle flinched and looked at CatNap. "What did you just call me?" she asked.
CatNap flinched a bit and looked away. "Uh, well—" before he could say anything, Mommy Long Legs cleared her throat, which made them look at her. "We finished clearing the barricade..."
Michelle smiled as Katelynn let go of her. "Nice work," she said before walking forward. "I can get that door open."
When Michelle was close to the blue hand scanner, she placed her left hand against it, activating it. When the scanner finished, Michelle opened the double doors; as the group entered, she looked around. This place is definitely ominous, Michelle thought.
When the group was close to the center, they heard roaring from the roof, which made Michelle flinch and look up. Boxy Boo... she thought before she started trembling. He's close by...
Michelle felt something on her head, which surprised her and made her stop trembling. Michelle turned her head to the source and saw Mommy Long Legs with a gentle smile. "You know that you have us on your side, my little Misha; never forget that..." she said.
Michelle stared at Mommy Long Legs before smiling. "Thanks," she said before looking forward. "Let's find that memory disk."
The group nodded as Mommy Long Legs moved her finger away from Michelle's head before they walked. Michelle looked around the area. "So, how many rooms are in this place?" she asked.
CatNap was thinking. "If I remember correctly, there were six in total," he said. "Four of them were used for conditioning; the other two I'm not so sure about. There was another room on the other side, however..."
When the group was near the blue door, Michelle saw a keypad with four different Doey expressions: disgust, fear, sad, and happy. "I see... a keypad is keeping it locked," Michelle said.
When Michelle looked through the door opening, she froze when she saw a destroyed hallway and a blue VHS tape on the ground. "What happened in there...?" she asked.
Huggy Wuggy looked away and wrapped his arm around himself; Michelle turned her head to the back and noticed his expression before approaching him.
When Michelle was close to Huggy Wuggy, she petted his leg, which made him look at her. "It's alright, buddy; if you'd like, we can avoid that room once I get the entire code," she said.
Huggy Wuggy remained silent and looked at the blue door before shaking his head. "Misha no miss room," he said.
Michelle looked at Huggy Wuggy, surprised. "You sure?" she asked.
Huggy Wuggy nodded, which made Michelle look at the door. "Well... the code for that door is probably in one of those memory disks," she said. "We need to find them first before we come back here."
The group nodded before walking to the left; when they turned the corner, they saw three doors: a blue door with a green light above it, a red door with a green light above it, and a yellow door with a yellow light above it. "Those lights..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Michelle looked at the blue door before approaching it; when she opened the door, the group saw Ms. Gracie on the screen and a yellow chair in the center. "One of the conditioning rooms; luckily, there's no sound in here," she said before looking at the red door and approaching it.
When Michelle was close to the red door, she opened it, and the group saw an electrical panel. "An electrical panel," she continued before looking at the yellow door. "I bet we need to activate the projectors to unlock all the other rooms."
Michelle realized something before looking at the group, concerned. "Will you guys be OK, though?" she asked. "I mean... hearing all of this stuff again..."
Mommy Long Legs looked down and held her arms. "While these rooms will bring back painful memories, it won't be as awful as before..." she said.
CatNap nodded. "Agreed... especially since we're not restrained anymore," he said.
Katelynn rubbed the back of her head. "Well, I remember watching her videos one time, but that was it; it shouldn't bother me," she said.
Huggy Wuggy gave Michelle a thumbs-up while Yarnaby tilted his head, which made her smile a bit. Michelle glanced at Doey and noticed he was looking away with his arms crossed. "And you, Doey?" she asked, which made him flinch.
Michelle looked at Doey, concerned. "If you're not comfortable being here, you can always—" Doey quickly shook his head. "I'm not leaving the room,"
Michelle eyed Doey. "Are you certain?" she asked.
Doey sternly looked at Michelle. "Yes, I'm certain!" he shouted before flinching a bit and looking away. "Sorry, I... didn't mean to yell..."
Michelle stared at Doey before nodding. "If you're that certain, then I won't make you leave," she said before twisting the knob.
The red hand retracted inside Michelle's arm, and the Conductive Hand appeared before she aimed at the electrical panel. "Let's get to that yellow door, then," she continued.
The Conductive Hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the electrical panel, powering it up. After the Conductive Hand retracted back to Michelle's wrist, she got out of the room before the group quickly approached the yellow door.
After Katelynn opened the door, Michelle entered and aimed her right arm at the projector before the Conductive Hand shot from her wrist. When the Conductive Hand touched the projector, it powered up; after Michelle retracted it, the group looked at the screen.
Soon after, they saw a cartoon version of CatNap sleeping on a cloud with music playing in the background. Soon after, the group heard yawning until they saw Ms. Gracie stretching a bit before looking forward. "Oh, hey there, wonderful!" she shouted. "I don't know about you, but I am slee-ee-eepy."
Most of the group glared at the screen. "When I don't get my beauty sleep, I turn into a big old grumpy bum," Ms. Gracie continued as the screen changed to reveal a cartoon version of an angry Doey, a cartoon version of an upset Mommy Long Legs, and a cartoon version of an upset Yarnaby.
Michelle crossed her arms. "If that's what you looked like after your beauty sleep, you should've stayed in bed a lot longer," she said, which made some of the group giggle a bit.
Unbeknownst to the others, Doey looked down and clenched his arms. "Everyone does if they don't get enough sleep!" Ms. Gracie shouted as the screen changed to the cartoon versions sleeping on clouds.
Soon after, Ms. Gracie appeared. "Come on, Sleepy Sue, let's take a nap together, OK?" she asked. "Close your eyes and count sheep."
Doey trembled as the screen showed a cartoon version of Baba Chops running on the screen. "Look! Baba's gonna help us," Ms. Gracie said as they heard bleating.
Doey started hyperventilating a bit and collapsed to his knees, which made the others look at him while Ms. Gracie was counting in the background. "What's going on?" CatNap asked.
Doey clenched his arms tighter as his body bubbled a bit. "The gentle voices..." he said, lowly.
Michelle stared at Doey, worried. "Kevin?" she asked.
After the cartoon version of Baba Chops disappeared, Ms. Gracie smiled. "Boy, I bet having soft wool like Baba Chops feels nice..." she said as the background changed. "Wouldn't it be nice to be a toy?"
Doey's eyes widened. "Toys never get cranky; they're full of joy," Ms. Gracie continued.
Matthew and Jack quickly separated from Kevin, which surprised the others. "Get away from him, now?!" Matthew shouted.
Kevin gritted his teeth as his body boiled. "The gentle voices lie! They always lie?!" he shouted as multiple dough arms sprouted out of him, which shocked the group.
One of Kevin's dough arms shot in Michelle's direction, which made her eyes widen. Katelynn quickly grabbed Michelle and moved out of the way before one of Kevin's dough arms made a hole through the projector.
Kevin dug his claws into his arms as the dough arm pulled out of the projector. "Can't trust anyone with a gentle voice; they lie, lie, lie?!" he shouted before it destroyed the projector.
The others outside the hallway dodged Kevin's dough arms. "What's wrong with him?! He shouldn't be attacking us!" Mommy Long Legs shouted.
Matthew looked at the others while dodging Kevin's dough arms. "Gentle voices are one of his triggers; it doesn't help that we had to watch those videos multiple times," he said.
As Kevin destroyed the chair in the room, Katelynn looked at Michelle, worried. "What do we do, Big Sister?" she asked.
Michelle gritted her teeth. C'mon, Misha, think; what can we do in this situation? she thought as she looked around.
Soon after, Michelle spotted a large folded black sheet in the corner before thinking of something. "I have an idea," she said before looking at Katelynn. "But you aren't gonna like it."
Katelynn looked at Michelle, worried. "You saying it like that already makes me not like it," she said.
Kevin clenched his arms as he punched the walls and floors while attacking the others. "Those with gentle voices deserve to die?!" he shouted.
Jack looked at Kevin, worried, while dodging. "What do we do, Matthew?" he asked.
Matthew looked at the others as Yarnaby roared, and Huggy Wuggy screeched before looking down. "I... I don't know..." he said, lowly.
"Kevin Winston Barnes?!" a female voice shouted, which shocked the group on the outside.
The group outside looked at the source and saw Michelle glaring at Kevin. "Misha!" most of them shouted.
Kevin glanced at Michelle. "You better cut this shit out, right now?!" she shouted. "This is why I told you that you should leave this place with Matthew and Jack, but your pride had to get in the way!"
Kevin stared at Michelle as she sprinted toward him. "And because of this bullshit, I'm the one who's gonna snap you out of it?!" she shouted before tackling him to the ground.
As Michelle wrapped her arms around Kevin, the dough arms aimed at her. "Get away from me?!" he shouted as they shot toward her.
However, Matthew and Jack grabbed Kevin's dough arms with a few dough arms sprouting out of them before laying them on the ground. "This ends now, Kevin!" Matthew shouted.
Michelle turned her head to the back as Kevin struggled. "Katie, cover us?!" she shouted.
Katelynn got out of the room while holding an unfolded black sheet. "This is insane, but I trust you, Big Sister!" she shouted. "Get Big Brother back to his senses!"
Michelle nodded as Katelynn quickly covered the couple with the black sheet. Under the dark sheet, Kevin tried looking around in a panic. Wh-What happened? Why is it dark? he thought.
Kevin heard faint singing, which shocked him. A song... he thought before he started calming down. It sounds... familiar...
"May there always be angels to watch over you," a female voice sang. "To guide you each step of the way..."
Kevin looked down and saw Michelle lying against him with her arms wrapped around him and her eyes closed. "To guard you and keep you safe from all harm," she sang. "Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay..."
Kevin stared at Michelle as she sang a melodic tune before gently placing his hand against her head, which made her stop in shock. "Misha..." he said, lowly.
Michelle sat up and looked at Kevin. "Kevin..." she said, lowly, before tears pricked her eyes.
Michelle closed her eyes and quickly wrapped her arms around Kevin's neck. "You dumbass! Never worry me like that again?!" she shouted.
Michelle trembled and clenched onto Kevin. "You scared all of us..." she said, lowly. "You idiot..."
Kevin turned his head to Michelle. "Did I... hurt you?" he asked.
Michelle shook her head. "You tried to, but Katie, Matthew, and Jack stopped you before you could," she said.
Kevin froze and looked away. "I—" before he could say anything, Michelle pulled away and sternly looked at him. "Don't you dare,"
Kevin was surprised and looked at Michelle. "Don't you dare apologize for trying to attack me; it wasn't your fault," she continued.
Kevin stared at Michelle before smiling a bit and gently placing his hand against her cheek. "Even in darkness, I can still sense your intensity," he said.
Michelle smiled before leaning forward and kissing Kevin, which made him reciprocate. After Michelle pulled away, she tapped the sheet twice. When the sheet uncovered the couple, Michelle got up and stepped away before Kevin sat up.
After Kevin stood up, he stared at the others before looking down and holding his arm. Kevin felt a hand on his shoulder, which surprised him; he turned his head to the source and saw Matthew. "It's alright; we know you didn't mean to do it intentionally," he said.
Kevin stared at Matthew before smiling a bit. "Thanks..." he said, lowly.
Katelynn tackled Kevin into a hug, which pushed them back a bit before he looked at her. "Dummy... I was worried about you..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Kevin gently smiled and petted Katelynn's head. "Sorry for scaring you, Katie..." he said, lowly.
Michelle smiled at the siblings before flinching a bit and turning her head away with a sweatdrop; the others looked at her. "Is something wrong?" Jack asked.
Michelle nervously looked at the group. "Well, uh... do you... know if there's a place I can powder my nose?" she asked.
The group had blank expressions until Mommy Long Legs placed her finger against her chin. "In here, no, I don't think so... but there might be one elsewhere," she said.
Michelle looked down. "That's what I feared; I'd better find it first before we continue. I'd rather not piss on myself," she said before sprinting away.
The group looked in Michelle's direction until she was out of sight. "I guess there's not much we can do when nature calls," Matthew said.
CatNap stared in Michelle's direction before looking down; Mommy Long Legs looked at him and noticed before grinning a bit. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" she asked.
CatNap deadpanned at Mommy Long Legs as she giggled a bit before sighing. "It's nothing trivial, but... I'm curious about that song Angel sang," he said.
Katelynn let go of Kevin before looking at CatNap. "You mean Big Sister's lullaby?" she asked.
CatNap nodded. "I don't know why, but... it sounds familiar, and I can't place my finger on it," he said.
Mommy Long Legs hummed a bit. "And here I thought I was the only one who thought that song was familiar after she sang it back in the Doctor's room," she said.
Jack placed his finger against his chin. "Well, the note we found in the power room said that Playcare used to play a lullaby before the Red Smoke was created," he said. "Maybe that's why it's so familiar."
Huggy Wuggy tilted his head. "If song came from Playcare, how come Misha know it?" he asked.
Mommy Long Legs looked down. "The guard dog makes a point; if Playtime created that lullaby, how could she have known the lyrics?" she asked.
Huggy Wuggy slightly growled at Mommy Long Legs, which made her giggle a bit, before huffing and turning his head away.
Kevin remained silent and looked down. They all make good points, he thought. The first time I heard it was when she sang it to Katie, but those three have probably been in Playcare's custody longer than me...
Matthew turned his head to Kevin and noticed his expression. "Is something wrong, Kevin?" he asked.
Kevin flinched a bit and shook his head. "I'm fine," he said. "But uh... I should probably find out where she went; the last thing we want to do is get separated."
The group nodded before Kevin sprinted forward. "While he's finding Misha, we should see if we can destroy the doors on the other side instead of watching through her videos again," Matthew said.
Mommy Long Legs hummed. "I like that plan; shall we get started?" she asked.
The others nodded before walking to the other side.
