"This flight speed is insane, it makes it way harder to control," Adam remarked as he piloted Spector Unit 6 towards one of the incoming missiles before slicing at it with a beam saber that missed.

The stream was currently broadcasting from both Adam's POV and an external view, which allowed the viewers to watch him adapt to Spector Unit 6's Rapid Interceptor Mode while trying to destroy the missiles, as well as understand how fast he was actually moving.
"There is no way my body could withstand these turns," Adam remarked as he had Spector Unit 6 perform a sharp turn and head back towards the missile he had just failed to destroy.
"Affirmative. Your body has gone through two upgrades; however, it is still too weak to handle the stress caused while flying and, in particular, turning at these speeds," Spector replied.
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): I guess that explains why he couldn't use this form originally. His body wouldn't be able to withstand the g-forces.]

Adam continued to remotely pilot Spector Unit 6 as it flew across space faster than the eye could see while taking out the missiles.

As if to answer their question, another holographic screen popped up to show an image of one of Spector Unit 6's drones flying in the direction of a missile.

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): Especially considering that they would have no chance of keeping up with the main body.]
[HackerSu (Trillion): They are definitely moving faster, however, and their attacks seem stronger.]

"Can someone please explain to me why my missiles keep exploding prematurely and what that blue streak of light is?" The captain of the capital-ship asked as he glared at the viewscreen before him.
"According to sensors, that blue streak of light is the enemy mech and it is destroying our missiles," The sensor operator replied.
"Impossible, no mech can move that fast," The commander retorted.
"I'm just telling you what the sensors are showing me," The sensor operator replied.
"We're not getting paid enough for this crap," The captain cursed angrily before adding, "This was supposed to be a simple elimination mission, I mean, we even brought seventeen ships to make sure we got the job done. No one said anything about a mech that moves faster than the eye can see."
"Do you think the organisation was holding out on us?" The commander asked.
"They're known for keeping secrets and operating on a need-to-know basis only; however, in this case, I think they actually didn't know," The captain replied before adding. "That ship was supposed to still be in the Felidae Galaxy after all."
"What are your orders then, captain?" The commander asked.
"Surround the Imperial Down with our numbers and attack it from all directions," The captain replied.
"The Imperial Down is turning towards us and the energy readings suggest it is preparing to fire its main cannon," The sensor officer suddenly reported.
"So they've finally decided to fight, huh?" The captain replied before ordering, "Have the fleet separate and avoid the incoming main cannon attack before proceeding to surround the target and attack it from all sides."
"Yes, sir."
"Enemy fleet is separating as expected," The Imperial Downs sensor officer reported before adding, "Also, it appears one of their large-class ships is turning about and heading towards the Spector."
"Most likely going to support them since they have already managed to eliminate two of the medium-class ships," Becky replied over the ship's internal comms.
"We succeeded in splitting them up," Andria noted before ordering, "Since that's the case, we shouldn't waste our attack, Weapons, target one of the cruiser-class ships and fire when ready."
"Yes, ma'am. The main cannon will be fully charged in five seconds," The weapons officer replied.
"Communications, contact Spector Unit Six and inform them of our plan," Andria ordered.
"Yes, captain," The communications officer replied.
"This Gatling gun is awesome," Adam remarked as he fired the shoulder-mounted Gatling gun at several missiles that were close together, destroying them.

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): It depends on the ship in question. The Imperial Down is a cruiser-class ship and therefore, if its main cannon attack hits other cruiser-class ships, they have a high chance of being destroyed if not disabled, while smaller class ships are all but guaranteed to be destroyed by a direct hit.
The capital class would most likely survive, however, though it would still receive significant damage depending on how badly it's hit.]
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): One of them appears to be heading in the direction of the streamer's ship.]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Well, they are down two medium-class ships, not counting the three heavy-bombers.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): It seems they're still under the impression that their numbers advantage will grant them the victory and so believe they can send one of the large-class ships to support the remaining medium-class.]
"Incoming message from the Imperial Down," Spector suddenly announced before continuing. "They are preparing to fire their main cannon at one of the cruiser-class ships and advised we stay out of the line of fire."
"Project the anticipated firing angle onto my HUD," Adam replied.
"Affirmative," Spector replied before a straight section of space between the Imperial Down and one of the enemy cruiser-class ships turned red while Adam continued to have Spector Unit 6 and the drones take out the missiles.

"Imperial Down is firing its main cannon," Spector announced just as the stream switched to show the front of the Imperial Down, which had opened up to reveal a large cannon that suddenly released a massive amount of energy towards the cruiser-class ship.
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): It's going to hit, it's going to hit.]
[HackerSu (Trillion): Barely. It looks like they're going to avoid most of it while only getting clipped by the edge of the attack, which is a shame.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): FUCK!]
As Susan had anticipated, the enemy cruiser-class ship managed to evade the majority of the enormous energy beam from the Imperial Downs main cannon, only getting hit along its port side as it tried to roll out of the way.
"Damage report of the cruiser-class," Adam instructed as he continued to shoot down missiles.
"Its shields are down and has sustained minor damage to its port side. The ship is still operational," Spector announced.
"Good enough," Adam remarked before turning Spector Unit 6 and having it suddenly fly towards the cruiser-class ship.
