"Affirmative," Spector replied as the shoulder-mounted micro laser lance began to glow slightly.
Adam locked onto the now shieldless cruiser-class ship before firing.
As with when Spector fired the laser lance, the micro laser lance flashed before a hole suddenly appeared through the centre of the cruiser-class ship, which moments later caused secondary explosions to begin within the ship.

"Damn, it survived," Adam complained before he turned Spector Unit 6 and had it head back towards the last few remaining missiles to intercept them.
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Wait, he was actually hoping to destroy it?]
[LadyErkath (Alastor): Well, it is pretty much disabled, judging by the ongoing explosions.]
"Good lord!" The commander of the capital ship said in shock as he looked at the viewscreen that showed the explosions taking place within the cruiser-class.
"What the hell did that mech just do?" The helm officer asked.
"He tore a hole through the ship," The weapons officer replied.
"I can see that, idiot. What I'm asking is how?" The helm officer retorted.
"That strange weapon that kind of looks like a rail gun glowed slightly before the hole appeared." The sensor officer stated.
"You're not really suggesting a rail gun did this, are you?" The weapons officer asked.
"I said it looks like a rail gun, not that it is one," The sensor officer snapped.
"ENOUGH!" The captain finally yelled angrily as he gripped the arms of his chair in rage before angrily asking, "I want that fucking mech destroyed. Why haven't your mech and fighter squadrons launched yet?"
"They are launching now, captain," The commander remarked.
"About fucking time, what took them so long?" The captain asked.
"They were not part of the original plan to take down the Imperial Down and thus were not combat-ready," The commander explained.
"COMBAT FUCKING READY? WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE. THEY SHOULD ALWAYS BE COMBAT READY," The captain yelled in rage while smashing the arm of his chair before adding, "Tell them that if they want to get paid this week, then they better get their asses moving and destroy that fucking mech."
"Aye, captain."
"What the heck did he just hit them with? It tore a hole right through their ship," Andria asked in shock.
"I can see space through the hole, you know, when it's not blocked by the ongoing explosions," The commander remarked in shock.
"I have no idea what he did, but that was fucking awesome," The weapons officer stated.
"Right," Becky said in agreement over the internal comms.
"Detecting multiple launches of enemy mechs and fighters," The sensor operator reported before adding, "Also, the enemy ships are all approaching us on different trajectories."
"Now what are they up to?" Andria asked before looking at the commander and ordering, "Have our own fighters and mechs launch to intercept."
"Yes, ma'am," The commander replied.
Andria turned to the sensor operator and asked, "What do they appear to be doing?"
"Based on their trajectories, they appear to be attempting to surround us," The sensor operator replied.
"They're determined to try and defeat us using numbers, aren't they?" The commander asked in an annoyed tone.
"How many missiles are left?" Andria asked.
"Seventeen. Also, Spector Unit Six is currently heading in that direction," The sensor operator answered.
"I can't believe he actually managed to protect us and wipe them all out," The commander said in amazement.
"Agreed," Andria said in agreement before turning to the weapons officer and saying, "Target the next cruiser-class and charge the main cannon."
"Yes, ma'am," The weapons officer replied.
"Let's hope you hit it this time," The helm officer teased.
"Shut it," The weapons officer snapped before adding, "That was because of the distance between us and the target, exactly the same reason you could dodge their attacks earlier."
"That was pure skill," The helm officer replied.
"Uh-huh," The weapons officer replied before adding, "The fact that they are closer means that they will be easier to hit."
"Drinks are on you if you miss again," The sensor operator said with a smirk.
"Focus up, people, we're still in the middle of a battle," The commander reprimanded.
"Sir," The three replied before focusing on their work.
Spector Unit 6 flashed across space like a blue streak of light towards the last of the missiles and as it caught up with them, Adam had it open fire with its shoulder-mounted Gatling gun, firing red energy bolts that hit the last three missiles and destroyed them.
"Finally done," Adam said with a sigh as he watched the three missiles explode.

[HackerSu (Trillion): That was crazy to watch.]
[Whitehorn (Darah 5): He actually managed to take down over one hundred and fifty missiles in only a few minutes.]
[OfficialKasumi (Aqua Primus): One hundred and fifty missiles and one ship.]
[Superherofangirl (Earth): Why didn't they bother to launch more missiles after they saw them being destroyed?]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): Did you see how many they launched? It was probably their entire missile supply.]
[LadyErkath (Alastor): I doubt it. We're talking about large, cruiser and capital-class ships after all and they should have way more.]
"Multiple mechs and fighters are launching from the enemy ships," Spector suddenly announced.
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I'm kind of surprised it took them so long to launch.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Agreed. I was expecting them to deploy their mechs after seeing Spector Unit 6's arrival. I wonder what took them so long.]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): I think they're being kind of stupid to launch now. I mean, with how fast the streamer's mech is right now, there is no way they can keep up with it.]
"Well, I guess I have a little while to play with you guys before I go back to defending the Imperial Down," Adam stated as he looked at Spector Unit 6's sensors and anticipated how long it would take the enemy ships to enter optimal firing range.
