Finally, he asked, "What happened with regards to the Caninian's who tried to kidnap Liluth back then and did you ever discover who hired them?"

"Is there something wrong with that?" Adam asked.
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Not at all, it's just you could easily find out everything regarding the kidnapping on the Universal Subspace Network; it's public knowledge after all.]
"Well, to be honest, there's nothing else I'm really interested in knowing from you, and since Liluth is a friend I helped back then, I figured I would make sure everything was resolved," Adam replied.

"Out of everything he could have asked me, he chose that?" Riniya said in surprise before smiling at her daughter.
"Impressed?" Liluth asked as she saw her mother's smile.
"Indeed," Riniya replied before continuing, "he could have asked me anything, from information on our family and race, or even secrets about the other races and universe as a whole.
And yet he chose to ask about you and make sure everything about your kidnapping was resolved.
How can I not be impressed with a man who puts my daughter before anything else?"
"I told you," Liluth bragged happily.
"Honestly, knowing him, he probably didn't even consider asking about any of that," Tessa said with a smile.
"Why not?" Riniya asked.
"Because Adam's only been in the known universe for less than a year," Tessa replied.
"Less than a year?" Shalendra repeated in confusion before asking, "But didn't he save the princess all those years ago?"
Tessa was about to answer when she noticed Liluth giving her a meaningful look, so she smiled at her reassuringly before saying.
"Let me rephrase: he's only been in the known universe for less than a year this time. I believe it was around the time when Drotas Entertainment attempted to have Diva Lorelie kidnapped."
"Then where was he all this time?" Shalendra asked.
"If I had to guess, I would say he returned to his home planet, or maybe he was exploring parts of the universe we know nothing about," Tessa replied.
"Wait, doesn't that mean he built up all those connections in less than a year?" Keerla asked in shock.
"Before discussing this, it might be an idea to respond to Adam," Becky suggested while pointing at the holographic screen where they saw that he was climbing out of the hover taxi.

Adam looked around after climbing out of the hover taxi to find that he stood a short distance away from a large mansion that was surrounded by a high wall.
A short way up the street was a large entry gate with a guard house stationed just inside the mansion grounds.

Adam read the message while scanning the mansion opposite him before saying, "It's fine, though I don't see why you would be so surprised."
