After peeling away the temporary tattoo-like thing, Adam grabbed the box and stuck it to the bottom.
As he and the chat watched, they saw the fancy S seem to glow slightly before disappearing completely, leaving nothing behind on the bottom of the box.
[HackerSu (Trillion): What was that?]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): I have no idea. It seemed to glow for a second before completely disappearing.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): I've never seen anything like that before. You think this could be another one of his strange techs?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Possibly, though I have no idea what it could be for.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): My guess is it's some kind of tracker.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Well, think about it. He's already made the nerve agent inert, which means he probably plans to deliver it as a way to get close to the target.
However, he also has a side quest from OfficialKasumi to find out what that senator is meeting the target for and why he wants the nerve agent.
What better way to follow the nerve agent than to put a tracker on it that can't be seen?]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): That strangely does make sense.]

"Gunlovergirl is correct; it's a type of invisible tracker," Adam replied before he walked back out of the alley.

After Adam left the alley, he proceeded up towards the large front gate of the mansion.
As he did so, his artificial eye detected miniature microcameras that were attached to the gate following him and just as he reached it, a guard stepped out of the guard house.
"Can I help you?" the guard asked roughly as he took in Adam's appearance.
"I'm here to deliver the item that was stolen to the boss," Adam replied as he showed the box to the guard.
"Stolen?" the guard asked in confusion before realising something and asking, "Wait, is that the…"
"Shhh," Adam interrupted him by making a shush noise before saying in a low voice, "the boss originally wanted this delivered here quietly. Do you really think it's a good idea to tell everyone nearby what it is?"
"Good point," the guard conceded before asking, "How do you have it?"
"I cornered the one who stole it in an alley, so the sneaky bastard dumped the box and legged it.
I decided that recovering the stolen item and delivering it to the boss was of a higher priority than chasing the bastard," Adam explained.
[OrangeeyedStace (Spector): He's such a liar.]
[OfficialRowena (Spector): You have to admit that he has a talent for making up stories.]
"Good call," the guard replied before adding, "we don't want that falling into the wrong person's hands; also, there are plenty of other people who can hunt the bastard down."
"Exactly, I mean, where's he going to go?" Adam asked with a smile.
"Haha, right," the guard said in agreement, signalling towards the guard house.
A second later, the gates began to open as the guard said, "Deliver it up to the main house; I'm sure you're in for a good reward."
"One can only hope," Adam said joyfully before passing through the gates and following the long driveway up towards the mansion.
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): I can't believe they let him just walk straight in.]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Well, he is wearing a security officer's outfit… kinda.]
[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): Still, that's extremely lacklustre security.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): At the end of the day, you can't expect much from common hired security.]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): While I agree in principle, you have to remember that Adam's story wasn't entirely made up.
They should already be aware that a security officer located him and chased him into an alley since it was called in.]
[OfficialKasumi (Aqua Primus): Wait, you think this was all part of his plan?]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Only he knows, but it's something I plan to ask him later and I honestly wouldn't be surprised considering he's the man I've chosen.]

"Wait, hold up, what does Phoenix Empress Revi mean when she says, ' He's the man I've chosen?" Riniya asked in surprise as she turned to her daughter.
"It's exactly as you're imagining, mother," Liluth said with a smile before adding, "Phoenix Empress Revi plans to marry Adam in the future; in fact."
"You mean he's going to have yet another wife?" Riniya asked with a sigh before adding, "You do understand that the more women he has in his group relationship, the harder it's going to be to convince your father to let you be with him, right?"
"That's why you're here, mother, to see how incredible he is and help me convince father," Liluth replied happily.
"So that's the real reason you brought me, you little brat," Riniya said with a smirk.
"Perhaps," Liluth replied innocently.
"Then care to explain to me why Phoenix Empress Revi, who is famous for having been single all her life, has chosen Adam to be her husband?" Riniya asked.
"I guess saving an entire race helps you win the heart of that race's princess," Liluth replied nonchalantly.
"Saved an entire race?" Keerla repeated before asking, "Why does it sound like you're suggesting that he saved her entire race and that's why she chose him?"
"While I can't be certain that's the reason, it is true that Adam saved the entire Phoenix race from extinction," Liluth replied.
Riniya looked at her daughter before asking, "I'm assuming you plan to explain what you mean by that?"
"The only explanation you need, dear mother, is standing in this ship's hangar," Liluth replied.
"What do you mean?" Riniya asked in confusion.
"She's speaking of the Black Knight, Queen Riniya," Tessa replied before adding, "It is currently in our docking bay."
"The Black Knight?" Keerla asked in shock before adding, "You mean the same Black Knight that saved the entire Phoenix race during the Siege of Fenix Nest?"
"Exactly, the Black Knight is Adam's mech," Tessa explained.
"Just how old is this guy?" Shalendra asked in surprise.
"I have no idea, but he must be at least two thousand years old," Keerla replied.
"Not necessarily," Riniya replied while looking thoughtful.
"What do you mean?" Kerala asked.
Riniya sighed before giving her guards a serious look and saying, "What I'm about to tell you is something you can never speak of without my permission, understood?"
"Of course," Kerala replied.
"As you say, my queen," Shalendra replied.
"The pilot of the Black Knight that appeared during the Siege of Fenix Nest arrived there by travelling through time," Riniya declared.
Kerala and Shalendra gaped at their queen before Keerla smirked and said.
"It's been a while since you last attempted to prank me, Riniya. I must say you're out of practice."
"It's no joke; the Universal Senate believes that this Adam Spencer is capable of time travel since the White Dragon that appeared during the Siege of Fenix Nest was actually White Dragon Tephe.
Phoenix Empress Revi recently confirmed as much."
"So the Galamedees Galaxy Senator really did reveal that piece of information to you," Tessa said with a sigh as Kerala and Shalendra once again gaped in shock.
"It also seems that you already knew about Adam saving the phoenix race," Liluth added while sighing.
"Certain things are not privy, even to you, my daughter," Riniya replied before turning to Tessa and saying.
"It's not all that surprising considering the ramifications time travel can have on not just my race but the entire universe.
Although it seems, judging by your reaction, that I was right to assume that you already knew about this, most likely from his streams?"
"That would indeed be the case," Tessa replied before adding, "I have watched his stream with Becky before and seen him return to the past."
"Really? To when in the past?" Riniya asked with interest.
"I believe it was universal year thirty-two, twenty-nine, though it looked more like it was an accident than a purposeful time jump," Tessa revealed.
"You mean to say he didn't do it on purpose?" Riniya asked.
"That does appear to be the case," Tessa confirmed.
"Would you mind telling me more about it?" Riniya asked with interest.
"Considering that I don't believe Adam would mind since you're already aware, and in the interest of rebuilding our two races' friendship, I will tell you some of what I know," Tessa replied.
