[OfficialKasumi (Aqua Primus): The fact that her face hasn't changed expression really makes it hard to tell, though she did close her eyes as if enjoying it.]

"That's good, but won't Fiere get notified once you disable it?"

"Do it," Adam instructed.

Adam and Eytelis stayed in the same position with Adam's hand gently resting atop her head for several seconds until Spector suddenly announced.
[[Slave chip disabled.]]

"All done, Eytelis should be good to speak as she wishes now," Adam announced as he removed his hand from her head.
Eytelis' face, which had been a blank expression, suddenly twitched before her eyes opened.
Gone was the bright green that almost seemed to be glowing, to be replaced by the original green.
Eytelis sighed before opening her mouth and saying, "Fiere and the organisation she works for planned to have me help them seize control of the Galamedees Galaxy."
As she finished speaking, Eytelis covered her mouth with her hands as her eyes opened wide with joy.
A moment later, she looked at Adam gratefully before saying, "It's true, you have freed me from slavery, emissary. Thank you."
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Queen Riniya says: Seize control of the Galamedees Galaxy. I would like to hear more on this.]
As she finished speaking, Eytelis' body suddenly swayed before falling sideways.
"Whoa there," Adam said as he quickly reached out to support her. "Are you ok?"
Eytelis clung to Adam's arm to support herself while taking deep breaths before moving towards the nearby bed and sitting on it.
After a few moments, she looked up at Adam and said, "My apologies; I always become weakened after the great tree takes control of my body."
"Understandable, and I'm happy to help, but do you mind explaining what you meant before?" Adam replied as he saw Becky's message in the chat.
Eytelis nodded before explaining, "From what I was told and overheard, after they captured me, they planned to implant the slave chip in me and return me before anyone was the wiser.
Unfortunately for them, the slave chip does not have any effect when the great tree assumes control of my body. Because of this, they had to alter their plans and take me away from Solarian Prime.
During the years I have been away from Solarian Prime, I have been passed around between different senior members of the organisation as they each tried to find a way to enslave the great tree's consciousness within me.
After repeated failures, they tried a new approach. They handed me over to Fiere, who would try to break us both through physical torture and pleasure. What they didn't know is that when one of us was being tortured, the others' consciousness was buried so deep that all our sensors were cut off."
"It was clever of you to keep swapping consciousness in order to share the burden," Adam remarked.
Eytelis smiled before continuing, "Once I was fully under their control, they planned to reinsert me back into Solarian Prime society, claiming that I had been found and rescued.
Over time, I would then be forced to use my influence as Bureau Chief to slowly undermine the Solarian Royal Family so that the citizens became displeased with them and then, when the time was right, replace them with someone more suitable, namely someone under the organisation's control."
[Superherofangirl (Earth): That's one messed-up scheme.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): It's certainly an interesting plan.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Queen Riniya says: Did they really think such a scheme would work?]
"They can't really think such a scheme would work, right?" Adam asked.
"It's a tried-and-true method since they already have full control of the Gobli homeworld, Glordri and, from there, gained control of the Vlusird Galaxy," Eytelis replied while shrugging.
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Wait, the Vlusird Galaxy is under this secret organisation's control? How did no one know about this?]
[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): That's concerning. If Viven Agilehand loses the Supreme Speaker's seat in the upcoming election, then all of Sector Fourteen may soon fall under the Gobli's control and, through them, the secret organisation.]
[OracleRomy (Elysium): You're right. The Gobli's and Holstaurs have always competed for control over Sector Fourteen.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Queen Riniya says: Hmm, it might be an idea to make sure Taegen has Orym vote for Viven Agilehand.]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): I already planned to have Vu do that.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Queen Riniya says: Phoenix Empress Revi, it might be an idea for us to discuss this with my husband later.]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): I concur, though I also think it might be an idea to invite some of our allies to the discussion. Pevaphio, for example.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Queen Riniya says: Makes sense, but we should only invite those that we trust completely. We don't want word of this getting out.]

[OfficialKasumi (Aqua Primus): Hang on, are we actually witnessing the streamer influencing the Universal Senate Supreme Speaker selection?]
[OfficialMuriel (Aqua Primus): That does seem to be the case; that's crazy.]
[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): Not really. I mean, if the Gobli race is truly under the control of the organisation, the last thing any of us wants is them gaining control of Sector Fourteen. We're just lucky that the election is basically between two senators.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Indeed. In my opinion, Viven Agilehand is much more preferable to be a Universal Senator than Senator Sedna.]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Does that mean the Valhalla Galaxy Senator will be voting for Viven Agilehand to stay in office for another term?]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): That is up to the progenitor, not me.]
"Seriously?" Adam asked in surprise.
"Yes, apparently they have an influential Gobli on the inside who helped them secretly gain control, though I am unaware who it is," Eytelis answered while nodding.
[OrangeeyedStace (Spector): Probably that bitch Drotas.]
[OfficialLorelie (Spector): I honestly wouldn't be surprised.]
"So how did they even manage to kidnap you in the first place?" Adam asked, "No offence, but shouldn't that be basically impossible since you have a whole planet protecting you?"
"That… I can not answer, at least not yet," Eytelis replied apologetically.
"Why not?" Adam asked curiously.
"Because I promised someone that I would not reveal that information until the appropriate time," Eytelis explained. "Please forgive me, emissary."
Adam sighed before asking, "Why do you keep addressing me as emissary?"
"This is something I also can not explain just yet; please forgive me since I seem to keep disappointing you," Eytelis said in a sad tone.
[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): Wow, talk about keeping secrets.]
[Justiceistruth (Earth): The streamer just saved her; the least she could do was tell him what originally happened.]
[OracleRomy (Elysium): We all have our secrets; I'm sure she has her reasons for not telling him just yet.]
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Except our secrets aren't secret from you, are they?]
[OracleRomy (Elysium): I am not infallible; I do not have control over what I see. Also, I have never received a vision from Earth.]

"Oh, come on, it's not like you're disappointing me and besides, you said you would tell me eventually, right?" Adam replied.
"Thank you for understanding, especially since you didn't originally come here to save me," Eytelis said as the sad look on her face turned into a charming smile.
"Oh! Then why do you think I originally came here? Adam asked curiously.
"To get revenge for the assassination attempt Fiere orchestrated on your girlfriend, Diva Lorelie," Eytelis answered.
"Oh! You know about that?" Adam asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Only a little; she was complaining about how the person she tricked into doing the job failed.
While I'm a slave of the organisation she's part of and her personal assistant on the surface, that's only for her day-to-day business," Eytelis explained. "She spends the rest of the time trying to break me."
