After the death of the king Ragna, Cinister and Alya went through floors 12, 13 and 14, finally making it to floor 15
Cinister said "I'm still feeling guilty about the king's death" he continues "This is the 3rd death I have witnessed"
"Look, it's not your fault it's just that Barrier guy was really annoying" Alya respoded
"By the way where were you when we got attacked" Ragna asks
"Don't blame me. I was asleep most of the time because you guys left me to cover the night shift and protect the kingdom from monsters" Alya responded
"Fair enough" Ragna said
Then the group made it to a beautiful city filled to the brim with building, parks, shops as far as the eye can see. Near the center a ginormous well-built clocktower stuck out like a sore tumb. Like floor 7 this was a non leathal floor. But it's population was through the roof and the city's functionality was endless.
They wandered the city for a suitable resting place. They saw multiple luxurious hotels but since The Fangra were short on gold they chose a watered down inn near the city.
When they got their rooms everyone unpacked their thing. Ragna and Alya were brimming with excitement to explrore the city while Cinister was still trapped in his thoughts about the people he was supposed to protect. He was thinking about all the diffrent ways he could have protected his fellow friends but allas it was only "if" not "did".
But thinking about it just sent Cinister spiraling deeper into his thoughs so he decided to wander around the city. Seeing so many different colours but the variety food, clothing, pet and gear shops really helped Cinister's mind ease up. The sweet scent of candy was irresistable and so Cinister went inside the shops to buy some lolipops.
The atmosphere inside the candy shop was really soothing and nostalgic. The cashier welcomed Cinister in the shop and recommended all types of tempting sweets but Cinister just pointed at the lolipops as the cashier took out 3 lolipops and handed them to Cinister.
After leaving the store Cinister wanderes around the city when he sees a shop which looks odd and creepy. The front entrance is covered by 2 bodyguards and it is pitch black. The shop look very dirty and has a sign that says "Enter at your own risk".
Cinister's curiousity was killing him so he went to talk to the tall and muscular bodyguard who was dressed in black.
"Excuse me!" Cinister tries to get his attention "What is this shop selling"
"Beat it kid" the bodyguard replies in a cold voice "This place isn't made for weaklings"
"I'm no weakling sir" Cinister says confidently as he is sucking on a lolipop
"Ok kid you got some gut" The bodyguard says "Fight me and if you win I'll let you in"
"Deal" Cinister says as he prepares his fist
The bodyguard leads him to an underground fighting club was very dirty, dimlit and suffocating but people here still bet and gamble their savings away on fighters. Cinister and the bodyguard take their place in the ring and the anouncer says "In the first corner we have John Smith with an astounding record 50 wins to 15 losses" the crowd cheers with enthusiasm "And in the other corner we have Cinister Brimstone without a match on his record, still shows potential" the crowd boo's and is sure that John will win this swiftly.
"Really" Cinister says to himself "They could atleast give me a warm welcome".
John Smith takes the initiative and tries to hit Cinsiter with a left jab but Cinister was ready and dodged the jab. The bodyguard was shocked but without any hesitation he jumped back. Little did he know that Cinister had ranged attacks
"[Fire Gun] 100%" said Cinister before burning and knocked John out of the ring.
The crowd is silent and shocked that a newcomer was able to take down big Jonny with a single attack. With this feat the bodyguard was impressed and he decided that Cinister was worthy enough to step in the ominous shop.
In the runed down shop there was a mysterious man standing next to a strange and glowy machine.
"Hello, scaler of the tower" the man said "I was hoping I could get to meet you someday and here you are so does that mean fate is real or was it luck that made our paths cross"
"What?" Cinister looked confused by the statment
"I'm just thinking outloud" the man said "But I presume that you want to enter Drill Dungeon"
"The Drill Dungeon?" Cinister asks
"Yes the Drill Dungeon" the man starting explaining "The Drill Dungeon is a place outside time and space itself. It was discovered when the Aliens built a teleporter and used a strange item from the tower. When they first go there it was empty with the drill being an execption"
"Wait. The Aliens created this?" Cinister asks as he point at the portal.
"Yes but don't interupt me, please" the man replied "Anyway, They used the drill to mine all sort of ores and riches but on one night while carrying a large haul of good they were attacked by all kind of creatures that even in the present day we don't know their origin"
"Why don't the Guardians go inside and loot it" Cinister aska
"Becuase on 20 Nov 2015, 15 Guardians were sent to explore the Dungeon but after 30 days the only remain were their items. No bones, flesh or blood" he explained with a scared expression
"15 Guardians were killed?" Cinister asks surprised that 15 Guardians weren't able to escape
"It's tragic but I'm sure that you Scaler and the Red Emperor are the ones that will uncover the secrets to that dungeon" he looks with hopeful eyes at Cinister
"Red Emperor? I'm assuming that is Allen" Cinister says to himself "Alright I will go and do it" he says to the man
"Excellent! I wish you the best of luck" the man says as he turns on the machines and it's shows a screen that read "BOOTING: CHECKING FOR ERRORS" "NO ERRORS FOUND" "PREPARING TERRAIN" "ACTIVTING IN 1 MINUTE" "IF YOU WISH TO ENTER YOU MUST STAND ON ME"
Cinister steps on the glowy machine and he is prepared to fight anything to find out what happeded to his family.
