Cinister stood on a rail from a minechaft and looked around the area to see a disgusting, filthy and smelly place where mineshafts are a common sight but Cinisters eyes were on the massive dimly lit drill that can fit 5 people inside. And in the cavern it was hard to breath and the atmosphere was that of a volcano but Cinister went to look inside the drill, a couple of middle-aged workers who have been here atleast for 2 decades stopped him and asked
"What are you doing down here, kiddo" One of them asked "This place isn't supposed to be accessed by youngsters"
"I'm here to get better gear" Cinister said with passion
"Well just so you know it's better with atleast 2 people because the things you might see here are pretty bizare" said one of the workers
"Ahh I should probably look for Ragna then" Cinister replied with annoyance and displeasure
"Yoo so this is where you have been" Ragna says with confidence
"Ragna! How did you find this secret place" Cinister said
"Oh I followed you down here" Ragna explained "Also I had to beat up a guy named John Smith"
"Oh yeah that guy but since you're already here let's go and see what we can find" Cinister said
As they went in the massive dimly lit drill they saw a rusty lever which hasn't been cleaned in ages and a big red button that flickers the words "Emergency Exit". This is a place where multiple people have tried and failed to level up. The rotten stench and blood stains are very noticeable.
"Ok youngsters the job is very easy the drill hasn't got a lot of fuel. To counteract that in the caves there are magical Ignivar rocks that can fuel the drill to go even deeper" The old guy said "The max is 200 km and just don't die"
"Don't worry unc. We're invicible" Cinister said with confidence
Cinister and Ragna close the door to the drill and they played rock paper siccors for who will pull the level. Unfortunately for Cinisrter he chose paper while Ragna chose scissors. When Cinister pulled down the lever the drill turned on instantaniously taking us to 100km below sea level.
As they stepped out the drill they were standing on tall rocky pillars that have diffrent Ignivar rocks, pickaxes left from previous minors and fences so people don't fall off into the steaming hot lava.
"This looks like Hell" Ragna was befuddled by the scenery
"Yeah I wonder what monsters we can encoun-" as Cinister was about to finish his sentence a Magma golem punched him square in the face
"Where did he come from!?" Ragna said in shock
"I don't know but I got a feeling he going to be weaker against water" Cinister said to Ragna
The Golem thinking fast he punches Ragna with lightning speeds
BUT
Ragna acted even faster and used [Bubble] to parry the Golem and the punch was redirected against it. The Golem's arm flew in his face killing with ease
"Man having you here is a relief" Cinister says
"Yeah I am the strongest after all" Ragna replies
As he said that about 10 Golems that look ambitionous to fight. Ragna prepared [Arcmail] while Cinister was ready to use [Pyroclasm].
Both of them looked ready to take them on and in that moment they felt this intense sensation surging theough their bodies just like they did in the cave. They were so locked in that Cinister flames turned blue without the need of [Fire Ring] and Ragna lightning became purple and a lot more powerful
Conjoined Nexus - [Arcclasm] - The first of the 3 fire rings has a 100% to shock the opponent. The shock also lasts 3 times as long
"[Arcclasm]" Ragna and Cinister said as the 3 rings kill all the Golems.
"That didn't take long" Cinister said "I guess we should collect the rocks and go deeper"
"Yeah that's a good idea" Ragna said
Both of them got out their pickaxes and starting exploring for the Ignivar rocks which were in groups of 3 or 4. When they finally collected enough they met up at a bridge.
"Did you get enough?" Cinister asks
"Yeah I got 6 or 7" Ragna replies
"Superb we can make our way to the drill" Cinister said.
As they made their way to the drill, passing through the rough terrain and harsh breathing conditions, they reached the it and they saw a mediveal looking chest.
"Can I open it" Ragna said
"Go ahead just watch out" Cinister warned
As he opened the old chest a scroll automatically made way into his book.
"Is it good?" Cinister asks
"It's name is [Thunder Encloakment]" Ragna said
[Thunder Encloakment] - In a passive state the lightning coiles around the blade of the user making blocking, parrying and attacking way more effective and on top of that it boosts the users speed. In the active state the lightning springs foward a whopping 10 m and the user can also make it curve any way he wants.
Ragna explains the spell to fellow friend.
"That sound pretty nice" Cinister said "You were in much need of a new Voltbrand spell"
"Yeah it's pretty neat but we should get deep to see if they are even better spells" Ragna said
After looting the chest they looked at the Ignivar rocks they ponder on how they're actually going to power the machine with the black rocks. As they looked around the drill they found a little storage compartment. In it there was a first-aid kit and a users guide on how to use it. After reading the manual carefully, they realized they should turn the rocks into a purer material.
They poured the powder in the fuel thank the drill turned on so they quickly hooped in the drill and after a bumpy ride they reached 200 m.
"My head hurts can't they just make this thing so wobbly" Cinister said
"Eh I just parried everything with [Bubble]" Ragna said
"Lucky mf" Cinister said in exhaustion
As they made their way out of the drill the landscape looked very diffrent and abstract but the air was still unfiltered and unbearable.
Before they could even take a single step a quick, mysterious creature sucker punched Ragna in the stomach sending him flying into awall.
Cinister looked at the creature to see a tall, bipedal humanoid monster which has pale skin, coral growths on their backs used for attacking, and sharp claws, It possess long limbs and an oversized head resembling a shark.
"What is that!?" Cinister screams at it
