"I do not know but one thing is for sure we have to help Ragna, so he doesn't die on us!" – Cinister answered
The narrator explains
Nexus, a common phenomena nowadays, lies in two diffrent parts of the human body - the stomach and the brain but since people only adapted to these otherworldly abilities not so long ago, most of them aren't able to draw out their full power.
So the clever minds in the royal family Draevenholt, they invented special weapons which work like magnets and help the user to freely use their Nexus.
BUT
Via trials people found out that if they activated their Nexus and swung at the exact same time a new spell would come to flourish
[Nexus Overload].
Although this techique had been shared with the public it was still overshadowed by normal spells of a Nexus due to being abstruse to land.
In the history books no one was able to hit this technique more than 2 time in a row. To the exclusion of Allen Touter.
However this record may be broken today by ours truly, Ragna Kuronaze.
He flies behind the Ring master with blinding speeds and swung his sword. Before it made contact Ragna activated his Nexus causing his normal lighting to emit purple particles, erasing the Ring master's left arm.
"No I won't lose now!" The Master said as he preapred a portal to send Ragna to an unknown dimension.
"Grr" Ragna growled as he used [Nexus Overload] to erase the portal of the Ring Master
"Dammit you fool!" The Master said as he stepped back, trying to flee from Ragna
But it was to late since Ragna stabbed him through his heart by casting [Nexus Overload] for the 3rd time, breaking the previous record and erasing the Ring Master from existance.
"Give me back my friends before you go to hell!!" Ragna yelled as two epic scrolls and new boots fell on the ground
"We're here you dumbass" Cinister said as he tried to singal that they're still alive
"Go to hell!" Ragna replied as he wasn't able to recognize his beloved friends standing right infront of him
Then Ragna threw his placeholder sword at Cinister, cutting his hair.
"Woah it's me Ragna what are you doing?!" Cinister yelled out at him
"Yeah please calm down" Alya said trying to calm Ragna now
But Ragna wasn't able to comprehend the words and charges at the two with amazing speed and punches Cinister right in the gut but just in time the flame mage catches Ragna's punch and pins him on the floor.
"Let me go!" Ragna commanded as he squirms trying to get out of Cinister's grasp
"No listen to me" Cinister tried to talk sense into him but Ragna just kicked the mage in the face, sending him back a bit
Then Ragna ignited his sword with yellow Voltbrand, while Cinister lit his hands with Ignivar
As they both of them charged toward eachother Ragna suddenly fell on the ground asleep.
"Good work assassin" Cinister let his guard down as he towards Alya, who jammed Ragna's neck with the blunt side of her daggers
"Thanks but what happened to Ragna, Cini?" Alya asked as she picked up Ragna
"I guess it's adrenaline or maybe noradrenaline" Cinister responded as he picked up the two scrolls and the boots and stashed them in his inventory
"That doesn't make sense" she shot back
"Well I don't really know, but we can ask him later" Cinister said "Now we should focus on getting to the next floor"
"What about Ragna?" Alya asked
"You two go back to the Living Room in this floor I'll check what is up ahead okay?" Cinister replied
"Okay I trust you just please don't die" She said as she carried Ragna out of the Boss Room
"Well time to enter floor 17 then" Cinister said as he climbed up the floor
A blinding light was the only thing Cinister saw before his eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room.
Cinister looks down to see what appears to be the start of a long staircase that continues for infinity in a spiral. He also sees how on some of the steps there are skulls and bones from other unsuspecting scalers
Every step is very diffrent from the last for example the one step that Cinister was on was moldy and grotesque while the next one was made out of lego.
"Huh I guess this is one of the puzzles rooms" Cinister thought to himself "Man, I don't want to think hard about this after an exhausting day like this"
So Cinister looked back but there was no exit only stairs that continued down
"Man this is some bullshit." Cinister said to himself
We cut to Alya who made it back to a random inn in the living room and put Ragna to a bed.
Then she goes to the couch and drops on it.
"Today was a quite unpleasant day to say the least" she muttered to herself "I wonder how Cini is holding up. I'm sure he is fine and won't need any help"
Editors Note - This chapter is kinda short but I will give more descrpition about Allen
Allen Toutder - He has red long hair which is usually tied in a pigtail. He has blue eyes and stands at 6'3 feet (190.5 cm) and he has a fixed posture. He usually wears brown armour and steel shoulder plates. He has 6 sword behind him with one of every element. His nickname is The Red Emperor or The Red Emporier.
He likes to eat only mushroom because he thinks it's a hardcore meal. He likes the cold but his favourite season is Summer. He likes some sports does being piano and calligraphy. He likes to drink fanta specifically raspberry.
