Lyra, surrounded by mana pods, urgently instructed the others to pour their remaining mana into them. Instantly, Lyra initiated the sealing of Adam and the unsealing of Serbas. Adam felt the ancient sealing technique on both his arms as it crept toward his body. Adam's barrier deteriorated, and Serbas was released from his seal.
Serbas quickly sent out a powerful blast from his mouth, aiming for Adam's heart. However, one of the duplicates jumped forward, blocking the blast. Lyra's spears shot divine light at Adam's arms, releasing both Dahlia and Serbas's true heart. As the laser shot at Adam's body, more duplicates blocked the attack, unable to hit Adam's heart.
Some of the duplicates teleported to Lyra, blasting her barrier while others tried to pierce through the divine barrier. Due to the divine light burning away any type of demon, they were unable to enter the barrier.
However, the duplicates multiplied, raining down multiple types of elemental blasts, cracking the barrier. It causes Lyra to fortified the barrier and the seal on Adam became undone.
As everyone tried their best to attack Adam's duplicates with long-range attacks, it was a matter of time before Lyra's barrier would fail.
Serbas managed to grab Dahlia as his true heart returned to his body. He sent out a black orb, and the duplicates suddenly floated into the sky, restrained.
"Take out the knife, or I'll kill your children!" Adam (Demon King) commanded as he cast a barrier around Serbas's two children, the barrier slowly shrinking, threatening to crush them.
"Alright, Stop! I'll take it out!" Serbas shouted, pulling the knife out.
"Hold it out!" Adam ordered. The knife Serbas held was instantly filled with a dark aura, full of hatred.
"Yes! That's it. The knife is ready!" Adam said as he cast another barrier on Dahlia.
"Now, if you hesitate, I'll crush your family on the spot!"
Serbas held the knife out, then out of a sudden, Adam's black liquid grabbed onto Serbas's body, pulling him at high speed. Adam's barrier opened as Serbas and the knife hurtled towards Adam's heart.
In a split second, Serbas turned the knife towards himself, plunging the blade deep into his own heart. His body sent out a powerful life-force blast that pierced directly through Adam's heart.
Adam's Return
Adam returned to consciousness just as time stopped. His immense power overflowed from the level, and his mana tore through the ground. Adam saw Serbas with the knife inside his own heart and looked around, seeing Azrael bloodied, Vlad's body with a hole in his chest, and Johan with part of his body torn. He saw Serbas's family inside a barrier as his duplicates idled.
"What happened here?" Adam asked himself.
He teleported into the sky, seeing undead minions attacking Lyra's barrier, and instantly teleported toward Lyra. He saw cracks on the barriers and many of his duplicates idle around. Adam immediately absorbed all the undead minions into a giant dimension in the sky, each one floating into it. Adam sent out his duplicates to retrieve everyone on the field into Lyra's barrier, where healing was available. Each of their bodies was laid in front of Lyra.
Adam looked into his dimension for Vlad's heart, but it wasn't inside. Adam realized Vlad must have been killed with a hole in his heart. Adam took out his Universal Tool and created a replicated heart using some of the mana pods lying around. Taking a small piece of the Universal Tool to upgrade it, Adam placed the new heart into Vlad's chest and cast a maximum tier healing spell, closing off the wound. He then healed everyone else with the same maximum tier healing.
Just as he finished, the time stop ended. His immense level and power reverted back to Level 2 due to the time loop glitch.
Lyra was shocked to see everyone's body lying on the floor, and Adam looked at Lyra in confusion. Lyra's tears started falling as she knew Adam had returned back to himself. Lyra quickly hugged Adam, crying on his shoulders.
Dharka, seeing his undead minions suddenly disappear, and seeing Adam inside the barrier, stopped sending out the undead minions.
