Chapter 400 - Chapter 400: Leone: What a Flirty Merchant!

Chapter 400: Leone: What a Flirty Merchant!

Fang Yi didn't even look back as he walked away.

The docile piglet mutated into a dangerous species capable of killing, causing chaos in the streets.

Soon, city guards arrived to execute the creature that hadn't managed to escape the food stall.

And all the bystanders watching the commotion were taken away for questioning.

The charge? Suspected of intentionally inciting disorder in the Imperial Capital.

But in truth, the guards just wanted bribes—

those who paid were released, and those who couldn't… became slaves.

All of this

had nothing to do with Fang Yi.

It was simply a reflection of the Imperial Arms World's feedback.

As the master of a Tier 2 world Reincarnation Game,

Fang Yi's status far surpassed even this world's consciousness deity.

If someone emitted malice toward him,

and had neither status nor origin protection, the world itself would return negative feedback—

just like what happened in the Final Destination world.

Fang Yi knew this very well, but made no effort to stop it.

Every life had to pay the price for its actions and intentions.

"Excuse me, sir, do you need help?"

Turning a street corner, Fang Yi was quickly approached.

In truth, countless eyes had been watching him from the moment he entered the capital.

Just by appearance,

his clothing was clearly made of high-quality material, though a little unconventional.

Plus, he had a silver-haired foreign girl with him, delicate and doll-like in beauty—enough to captivate hearts.

Such a pair

was bound to draw attention on the streets of the Imperial Capital.

The one who approached was a curvy young woman, golden hair and even golden eyes.

Wearing a black tube top and tight black shorts,

her mature body looked like a perfectly ripened peach.

Logically, someone of such quality should've been kidnapped in a dark alley long ago if she weren't well-guarded.

But she dared to strut around so boldly—

clearly, she had confidence in her strength.

"Help?"

Fang Yi's eyes drifted slightly downward, landing briefly on her soft, pale stomach.

With a smile, he asked, "If it's not too much trouble, could you help us find a place to stay?"

"Of course!"

She noticed his gaze and instinctively wanted to show disdain,

but quickly reined it in.

A big fish—she couldn't let him slip away.

"There's a lovely inn near the edge of the capital,"

she said, leaning forward slightly, showing off her ample chest and deep curves.

"If you trust me, I'll take you there!"

"Thank you kindly."

Fang Yi nodded with a smile and walked alongside her.

He agreed because he had recognized who she was.

Leone—

a member of Night Raid, an assassin guided by world consciousness,

one of the main characters destined to bring down the empire.

Fang Yi had been looking at her belt—

one of this world's Imperial Arms, the Lion King: Beast Transformation.

A belt-type Imperial Arm that allowed the user to partially transform into a beast,

drastically boosting physical abilities and granting exceptional regeneration—even severed limbs and lost eyes could heal.

"Is she your little sister?"

Leone kept probing as they walked, trying to find out more about Afu.

Afu didn't want to talk to Leone.

As a world consciousness, she had little interest in communicating with humans.

To Leone, though,

the silver-haired girl likely looked like a slave, sold and bought, now too timid to speak.

Though Night Raid was publicly labeled as wanted criminals and assassins,

they were in fact a group deeply rooted in justice.

Leone wanted to determine whether Afu had been trafficked by Fang Yi and was being taken to the capital to be sold to nobles.

If so, she'd kill him on the spot.

If they turned out to be close relatives,

she'd rob him blind and kick him out of the capital.

This was the source of darkness itself—

walking around with a beautiful girl like Afu would get you killed before you knew it.

"Something like that,"

Fang Yi replied with his usual smile, answering all her questions without hesitation.

By the end of the walk, Leone was grinding her teeth in frustration.

She finally blurted out,

"So, you're telling me you're a merchant from another world, selling any game item a human can imagine?"

"And you came to the capital… to meet the emperor and forge something called the Tower of Death, an Imperial Arm?"

"That's right."

Fang Yi nodded with the same calm smile.

Even Afu, still nibbling on roast piglet, gave a symbolic nod.

To Leone, this looked like proof that the silver-haired girl had been thoroughly brainwashed.

Other world? Game merchant? Granting any wish?

What a ridiculous story.

If such a thing existed, wouldn't he be like a god?

And if there really was a god—

how could he allow the empire to rot to this degree?

"If you're really what you say… a merchant from another world—"

Feeling mocked, Leone decided to test him:

"I want a wallet that spits out endless gold coins and never runs dry. Can you sell me one?"

That was her guilty pleasure.

Besides hunting corrupt officials, her favorite thing was collecting shiny gold coins.

She believed even the gods gave her golden hair and eyes just to help her find more gold.

After the empire fell, and a new nation rose,

she planned to be filthy rich.

"A coin wallet?"

Fang Yi blinked in amusement.

Such a simple wish—clearly, she didn't believe him. She just wanted to watch him squirm.

Leone crossed her arms smugly as he hesitated.

Finally, she sneered, "Can't even give me a gold coin wallet, and you call yourself a game merchant?"

"Of course I can."

Fang Yi confirmed, "But are you sure that's what you want?"

"You could pick something that aligns better with your spirit and desires.

Choosing something so shallow is a bit of a waste."

The Reincarnation Game was now far more refined.

Gone were the days of freely traveling to offer players a chance to choose from a universal catalog.

Now, getting the perfect item for yourself required massive amounts of time and contribution points.

That was the core of game mechanics—

random drops rarely align with your exact needs.

So, in truth, Leone was extremely lucky.

With Fang Yi's approval, she could buy whatever she wanted directly.

Even if she had no contribution points—he'd let her buy on credit.

But since she thought he was a fraud, Fang Yi didn't correct her.

Even if she missed out on this opportunity, it had nothing to do with him.

Fate's blessings never come with announcements.

Whether you seize them or regret letting them go—that's your fate, your will, and the world's response.

"No regrets. The gold coin wallet is my wish. If you've got it, bring it out and sell it to me!"

Leone leaned in like a cat toying with a ball of yarn, nearly pressing herself against Fang Yi.

"As a game merchant, don't you dare give me some excuse about it being too expensive!"

Feeling the softness on his left arm,

Fang Yi didn't pull away, didn't show any reaction.

He simply lifted his right hand, opened his palm in front of her, and smiled:

"As you wish."
