Leo tensed immediately when he felt Valerie's hand move again, this time as if she was about to unzip his pants. His fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly, shifting without a clear direction, as if searching for something to hold onto.
Valerie's breathing beside him was uneven, heavier than before and that alone was enough to make Leo certain that something was wrong.
"Valerie…" Leo's voice was low, trying to stay calm even as his focus began to split. One hand stayed on the wheel while the other moved quickly, trying to stop Valerie's hand from going any further. "We're almost at the hospital."
But Valerie shook her head weakly, her eyes still half-closed. "Don't want to…" she murmured, her voice sounding different, softer, weaker, but strangely more… open. Her hand moved again, this time sliding up to clutch the fabric of Leo's shirt. "Hotel…"
Leo frowned, glancing at her briefly. "What?"
