He then zoned out for a minute, after letting go of Hui Shi's hand. Allowing everyone to continue their conversations while he reminisced about his past.
Over 6 years ago, in a quiet and peaceful forest, a young, 12 years old boy could be seen walking along the side of a small, clear stream of water on an afternoon day. The boy had a striking resemblance to Caib, although right now he had long green hair on his head, and was wearing a blue shirt, and khaki shorts, that was made out of a plant-like material that was similar to leather.
The forest around the boy that resembled Caib was covered in all sorts of alien vegetation. Some were green trees of various shapes and sizes. Some were small beautiful flowers, of myriad colors. Mixed in-between the flowers, trees and bushes, were green vines that grew square shaped fruits that glowed yellow, like the sun.
The green vines, which had branches that slightly resembled a plant, yet also slightly resembled the body of a snake, as well as a worm, grew all over the forest, and hung onto every tree within it like meandering, majestic serpents, making the forest a very beautiful, and slightly holy looking place.
The afternoon sun shining in the sky above the forest was strangely shining in a slight emerald green hue, as if it was an emerald gem shining in the sky instead of a glowing, hot sun.
The slightly emerald light shining from the sun tinted the color of everything from the skin and clothing of the boy to the forest around him greenish, making the world slightly greenish in color.
"Caib!"
As the boy was peacefully walking along the side of the stream, listening to the light cries of the insects, and creatures around him, he couldn't help but stop for a second in confusion. It seemed the boy had heard someone call his name.
"Caib! Come here now!" The sound that he heard grew louder, causing him to look around him for the person. From his behavior, it seemed he recognized the voice that was calling him, because a smile crept up on his face.
After looking around for a few seconds, he quickly saw a man in the distance, running with all his might towards him in exasperation, causing his smile to stiffen.
"Father! Why are you running?" The boy called out loudly in confusion, before running over to the man in the distance, who looked to be in his early 40s.
