Chapter 544 - Chapter 544: Giratina: You Really Got Some Nerve Beating Up His Messenger...

"Hoopa—is the strongest!"

Seeing its plot succeed, Hoopa Unbound revealed a smug, wicked smile, patting its chest and letting out a loud shout.

Its four other black arms, which it hadn't retracted, were gripping four more Hyperspace Rings. The terrifying auras radiating from them actually dyed the air in different colors.

This is troublesome—

Even though the rain had stopped, a few drops of cold sweat still fell from Aiden's temples.

The four Legendaries Hoopa summoned this time were no less powerful than the previous ones.

Inside the white and black rings on the left were the Sinnoh giant Regigigas and Kalos's "Wings of Death," Yveltal.

On the right were Unova's Dragon of Ideals, Zekrom, and another Giratina, the Renegade Pokemon, with crimson eyes and exuding a dangerous aura.

Aside from the Y bird, Aiden had interacted with the other three Legendaries in this world. Therefore, from the battle-hungry looks in their eyes as they stared at him, he immediately understood—they were also existences from another dimension, so he couldn't play the friendship card!

The situation had changed once again.

Not only was their MVP, the Black Rayquaza, sent into a Hyperspace Ring, but the number of Legendary Pokemon on Hoopa Unbound's side had actually increased—

Aiden frowned.

Hoopa Unbound's mechanics are way too broken!

According to his initial plan, the core carry (C-position) in this great battle against "Hoopa Unbound" was absolutely his Black Rayquaza.

After all, in the movie, the Black Rayquaza pulled from another dimension just ran rampant, holding its own even in a 1v7.

And the "local dragon" that clearly had a special relationship with him should only be stronger, not weaker.

But Aiden really didn't expect—

Hoopa Unbound didn't fight with honor! It actually used the same move it used on Lugia on his main carry!

After being sent into an unfamiliar timeline by the Hyperspace Ring, even figuring out how to get it back was a massive problem—

"Hoopa, is there a way to send Rayquaza back?"

Aiden sighed, turning his head to look at the pale-faced Little Hoopa behind him.

"Hoopa... Hoopa will try its best!"

Having also felt the immense pressure from the multiple Legendaries on the opposite side, Hoopa nodded with difficulty, taking a ring off its horn.

Now wasn't the time to be afraid of that terrifying big Hoopa!

Even Uncle Aiden seemed to be falling into a bitter struggle. If it didn't work harder, the timeline might get altered—

If this world line were to perish, it might get swallowed by that bad guy, and it would never be able to meet Anxin'er and travel together in the future!

It absolutely didn't want that!

A flash of resolve shone in Little Hoopa's eyes. Taking a deep breath—"Uncle Aiden, try your best to hold it off!"

"I'll go get Rayquaza back!"

With that, the golden ring in Little Hoopa's hand suddenly enlarged, and it dove right in.

"Hoopa—don't you dare run!"

Seeing Little Hoopa disappear, Hoopa Unbound across from them immediately darkened its face. Its six arms were about to move again, directly stabbing into the Hyperspace Rings.

"Don't even think about it!"

A white light suddenly flashed across Mewtwo. Mega Evolving into Mega Mewtwo Y with zero startup frames, it fiercely clenched its three fingers.

A powerful psychic force instantly locked onto Hoopa, binding it in place and rendering it completely immobile.

Although it couldn't last long before Hoopa Unbound forcefully broke free using brute strength, it at least bought Little Hoopa the chance to traverse dimensions.

Aiden breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the other Legendaries beside the big Hoopa, already prepped for battle and eager to strike.

"Mewtwo, Teleport!"

Eight terrifying energies of varying colors and attributes shot out simultaneously, ultimately merging into a single beam of white light that shot into the sky.

Right before the move could hit, a blue light flashed across Mewtwo's eyes. The next instant, Aiden and his Pokemon's figures abruptly vanished.

The next moment, they reappeared on top of a building on the edge of Lumiose City.

The sky was once again covered in dark clouds, and torrential rain hammered against the walls, exactly like the scene right before Black Rayquaza appeared earlier.

Aiden still had lingering fears from nearly eating a "beam of all the ancestors," but his mood paradoxically calmed down.

Trying to forcefully break through the iron wall formed by 8 Legendary Pokemon was indeed a bit out of his league.

As for the other Legendary Pokemon he knew—

They probably couldn't be relied upon either.

Regigigas was a thousand meters underground in Paldea. Even if he could contact it, its Slow Start would probably take a while to warm up.

By the time it got here, the road might have already been completely flattened—

The Dragon Duo were even more hopeless. If they came out and saw a second Giratina, wouldn't they cry on the spot?

As for his immediate combat power, it seemed he only had the White Dragon in his pocket, shivering in fear at being scared by yet another Kyurem—

This is so tough!

So, what he needed to do next was stall for time as much as possible—

Thinking this, Aiden narrowed his eyes.

He could feel that after causing such a massive commotion on his side, the other "competitors" in Lumiose City had already reacted and were currently rushing over.

Looking at it now, making the worst-case preparations right from the start was absolutely the right call.

With a bunch of Elite Fours and Champions from Lumiose City responsible for pinning them down, at least his side wouldn't have to bear the full brunt of the pressure—

"Aiden! What exactly is going on over there—!"

Lance, the Dragon Tamer, riding Dragonite and arriving first, shouted urgently. But halfway through his words, his expression froze.

Holy shit?

What am I looking at?!

Lance was dumbfounded.

One, two, three—

What the hell! Eight Legendary Pokemon, and we still have to count that unknown thing at the very back!

Is that "Hoopa Unbound"?

The others, who arrived at full speed, had expressions similar to Lance's when they saw the scene behind Aiden.

No, compared to the others, Lance might actually be the one who could hold it together the most.

"WTF—"

Finally snapping out of it, Wallace couldn't help but swear.

Even Cynthia and Diantha, who had been briefed on quite a bit of information beforehand, couldn't help but show a few traces of fear on their faces.

Those were Legendary Pokemon; just one alone could cause destruction profound enough to heavily impact an entire region.

And right before their eyes, multiple Legendaries from various regions with terrifying strength had actually gathered—

"I know you guys definitely want to complain, but now really isn't the time—"

Aiden sighed.

"In short, just follow the previous plan!"

"Try to separate those Legendary Pokemon as much as possible. Even if you can't beat them, just stall for enough time."

"For the safety of Kalos and this world, I'm counting on you all!"

As soon as Aiden finished speaking, his attention was drawn by a vigorous laugh.

"Hahaha! As long as little Aiden is here, things will never be boring!"

Mustard leaped from a building in the distance, easily landing after crossing a gap of over ten meters, arriving on the roof where everyone was.

"This old man has lived for so many years, but this is the first time I've seen such an interesting sight~"

"Getting to fight against legendary existences, this trip to Kalos wasn't in vain at all!"

"He's right."

After Mustard finished speaking, Professor Oak, who had arrived first riding Dragonite, nodded.

"For the vast majority of trainers, this is probably a once-in-a-lifetime dream opportunity!"

"..." x N

After the two Battle Legends took the stage one after another and immediately gave everyone present a dose of adrenaline, the younger trainers who had been pulling long faces earlier finally seemed to snap out of it.

"Screw it, anyway, with Teacher Azure here, if the sky falls, he'll hold it up!"

Steven joked with a smile, then exchanged a glance with Wallace. Their faces were instantly filled with resolve.

"It's time to move out, everyone!"

"According to the previous deployment, try to drag the other Legendary Pokemon away as much as possible and create an opportunity for Teacher Azure!"

In the distance, Hoopa Unbound was slowly advancing toward Aiden.

Since Little Hoopa had lost its trail, this account naturally had to be settled with that annoying human.

Even though he also seemed to have the "Hoopa Pulls" ability and could temporarily command Legendary Pokemon, compared to Hoopa, he was still far inferior!

Hoopa is the strongest!!!

Hoopa smiled, about to command the Legendaries under its control to launch another attack.

However, right at that moment—

"Snap out of it, Groudon!"

A furious shout suddenly came from the distance, followed by an imposing Hydro Pump and Flash Cannon blasting toward the completely unguarded Primal Groudon.

For a Legendary existence, the damage was negligible.

But the face-slapping attack, which showed absolutely no mercy, immediately made Groudon, who already had to keep looking up at its teammates and opponents, even more irritable.

"Roar—!"

The Precipice Blades it casually swung tore through the ground and shot into the air, but they were easily dodged by the Metagross that Steven and Wallace were riding.

"Meta!"

Floating in the air using magnetism, the Metagross roared provocatively at Groudon. Then, it suddenly spun around in mid-air and fled backward without looking back.

"Roar—!!!"

Primal Groudon was utterly enraged.

You show off in front of me and then just try to run?

If I don't beat you into scrap metal today, how will I ever be able to hold my head high among Legendaries in the future!

Losing its rationality, Groudon immediately stepped forward, actually breaking free from Hoopa Unbound's control to give chase.

Hmm, Hoopa seemed a bit taken aback.

If only one lost control, it probably wouldn't have much of an impact, right.

But soon, several other figures appeared, completely ruining its plan.

"The shell of an original dragon, huh—"

"Hmph, it's nothing but an empty shell that has lost its wisdom and possesses only brute strength!"

Lance, riding Dragonite with his red hair and cape fluttering in the wind, smiled disdainfully and revealed the several Pokeballs in his hand.

"Let me show you—"

"The power of the Dragon Army!"

An army composed of Dragonite and Dragonair surrounded Lance. Hurricane, Thunder, and Hydro Pump were fired off one after another in the heavy rain.

Kyurem, whose rationality was already barely hanging by a thread, felt the pain and immediately turned its spears around, focusing all its attention on those annoying pests.

"The legendary God of the Sea that protects Kanto?"

"Even though I don't know why you've taken on this form, but—"

Standing on Dragonite's back, Professor Oak sighed, his eyes incredibly resolute.

"It looks like I have no choice but to spar with you today!"

"Dragonite, use Blizzard!"

"That guy Oak is fired up too, then we can't fall behind!"

Mustard stood in place, locking his gaze onto Primal Kyogre soaring in the sky. His eyes suddenly turned sharp as blades.

"Go, Urshifu!"

"URSHIFU!!!"

The forcefully thrown Pokeball bloomed open in the air. Urshifu threw a punch mid-air, smashing right into Primal Kyogre's forehead before landing lightly.

"Regi—"

The finally reacting Regigigas had the dots on its chest glowing, seemingly gathering power.

However, before it could make a move, its attention was suddenly drawn away by a stream of draconic meteors crashing down from the sky.

"Your opponent is me, Regigigas!"

"Gar-chomp—!"

Cynthia's eyes were cold as she pointed at the dazed Regigigas.

"As the Sinnoh Champion, I must stop you!"

Regigigas remained stunned in place. It took a good while before it realized it had seemingly been attacked.

Thus—

"Regi—!"

Another long moment passed before Regigigas violently slammed the ground. Using the recoil, it launched itself straight into the air from a standstill, chasing in the direction Garchomp was flying.

"Screech—!"

Yveltal restlessly flapped its wings, letting out a low, urging cry.

A deathly power that made one's blood run cold seeped from its feathers, giving everyone who looked directly at it an ominous premonition.

"Your opponent is me!"

"Gardevoir—"

The Mega Gardevoir beside Diantha, wearing a fluffy dress and blooming her hands forward, used her full power, forcefully interrupting Yveltal with fairy energy.

As everyone exerted their strength one after another, the Legendaries blocking Hoopa Unbound were picked off one by one.

"Hoopa—"

Hoopa Unbound's expression began to stiffen.

Now, only two Legendaries were left guarding it?

Even so, when facing humans, it should absolutely be able to crush them—

But for some reason, it felt an inexplicable sense of unease.

"..."

The Giratina guarding its right had crimson eyes but hadn't taken any action.

Instead, it locked eyes with Aiden, who was smiling at it.

As expected, it's "His" aura.

This guy is the messenger chosen by the Creator God, and he is still being watched by that Lord to this day—

Realizing this, if I dared to make a move now, that would be truly asking for it.

But, if the big guy that summoned me here found out what I was thinking, it would probably banish me right away, right?

What should I do?

Giratina was pondering this when it suddenly noticed the messenger of Arceus blink at it, and then subtly gesture with his eyes toward the right.

Understood!

"Roar—!"

Giratina instantly caught on, narrowing its eyes and letting out a roar toward the front.

Flint/Aaron/Bertha: ???

"Wait, why is Giratina charging at us?!"

"We didn't even do anything!!!"

Flint and Bertha were immediately startled and hastily summoned their respective Pokemon to flee backward.

Only Aaron looked at the completely unresponsive Aiden beside them, and finally nodded.

"Giratina's target is us, but it probably isn't in any danger."

"So, let's stick to the original plan and lead it to the plaza furthest from here!"

Once the core leader of the three spoke up, the Sinnoh "Three Moles" immediately made themselves scarce, riding their respective Pokemon and sprinting desperately into the distance.

As for Giratina, its face looked full of rage, but its actual flying speed was incredibly slow, as it just leisurely chased behind them.

Hoopa Unbound naturally noticed this, and the unease in its heart grew even more pronounced.

"You—are afraid?"

Aiden narrowed his eyes, commanding Salamence to slowly ascend into the air, looking down at it from a high vantage point.

Hoopa's own power wasn't actually weak, but compared to the scene earlier where eight Legendaries gathered together, it was obviously not worth looking at.

As for that final Zekrom—

Aiden pulled his hand out of his pocket and threw out the Light Stone in his hand, which had already become scorching hot.

"Reshiram, you handle the black dragon!"

"Roar—!"

Without the bloodline suppression from Kyurem, Reshiram unleashed a mouthful of flames the moment it appeared, which tangled with the Fusion Bolt that the prepared Zekrom had swung out.

In a flash of lightning, Aiden had already extended his hand, pointing at the stiff-faced Hoopa Unbound behind the black dragon.

"You really are afraid!"

"Hoopa—I'm not!"

After being repeatedly mocked by a mere human, Hoopa Unbound's face suddenly darkened. Its six arms rattled the golden rings, letting out crisp sounds.

"Hoopa—is the strongest!"

"A mere human—go die!"

As it roared, Hoopa Unbound had already closed the distance, its six arms flailing wildly in the air.

At its acrobatic performance, Aiden just smiled, then immediately dropped the smile, his expression turning severe.

"You possess power, but you don't know how to control it, nor do you have the ability to restrain your own desires."

"That is why you fear me!"

After speaking, Aiden reached out and threw out all the remaining Pokeballs in his hands.

"Hoopa, your opponent is me!"
