Isolde spent the morning in a small side salon with her closest allies. Cat, Elara, Bri, Lira, and the two Lulus sat around a low table. No husbands. No servants. Just the six of them and a pot of strong tea.
"I want a Voluntary Offering Night," Isolde said. "Each woman may offer one act of intimacy or truth to whoever she chooses. Aiden, another woman, even her husband. Everything must be spoken aloud using our reclaimed names."
Cat leaned forward. "It sounds freeing."
"It is," Isolde replied. "But everything happens in the open. Aiden will watch. We stay under his eye, but we choose what we give."
Elara nodded slowly. "And the husbands?"
"They serve or witness. No commands from us. If a wife wants her husband to watch while she offers something to Aiden, she says so herself."
Bri's jaw tightened. "It will hurt them more because it's voluntary."
"That's the point," Isolde said. "They need to see us choose."
