Chapter 108 The Dragon Who Dislikes Writing
"Robin, get me out of here!" Upon seeing Robin, Petyr felt like he had found a savior. He walked to the entrance of the prison and was about to leave when he was stopped by two guards.
"You killed my mother and you expect me to save you? I'll see you fly now!"
Upon seeing Petyr, Robin's eyes immediately turned red. He drew his guard's longsword in a flash and thrust it at Petyr, who was standing in the dungeon.
Petyr never expected that Robin, who was always close to him, would stab him with a sword. He couldn't dodge in time and was stabbed in the sleeve.
Fortunately, Robin was weak, otherwise the sword might have pierced his stomach.
Yorn was also startled by Robin's sudden drawing of his sword. He wasn't afraid that Robin would hurt Petyr, but he was afraid that Robin would hurt himself, or that Petyr would desperately grab the sword and hold Robin hostage.
When Robin's sword missed Petyr, he became even more frenzied. Seeing that Petyr had hidden in the dungeon and refused to come out, he brandished his longsword and was about to rush in.
Robin's action terrified Jon even more. Once in the dungeon, he could easily fall off a hundred-meter cliff. Given Robin's current madness, he absolutely couldn't let him go to the dungeon.
While ordering the guards to take Petyr out of the dungeon, Jon went to snatch the longsword from Robin's hand.
However, Jon overestimated his abilities and forgot that he was old. Not only did he fail to seize the longsword, he was also nearly stabbed.
"Lord Yorn, what's going on?" Just as they were struggling, Arya appeared out of nowhere and asked Yorn.
"Quickly pull Robin over there!" Jon saw Arya and hurriedly asked her for help.
Just then, Robin entered the prison, and two guards were preparing to drag Petyr out.
Upon seeing Arya, Petyr's eyes flashed with resentment. If Arya hadn't arrived suddenly, Sansa wouldn't have changed her testimony, and he wouldn't have been imprisoned in the dungeon.
Arya glanced at Petyr and then walked toward Robin.
"Ah! Lord Petyr, you..." The group was in a panic when they suddenly heard Arya's exclamation. They then realized that Petyr had somehow gotten hold of a rapier and had slashed Arya's arm.
"Robin!" Arya called out to Robin, who was closest to Petyr, and despite her bleeding arm, grabbed Robin's right hand that was holding the sword and thrust it at Petyr.
Before Petyr could even react to why he suddenly had a rapier in his hand, Robin's sword pierced his chest...
"You...you..." Petyr's rapier clattered to the ground. He glanced at the longsword in his chest, pointed at Arya, blood spilling from his mouth. He only managed to utter two "you"s before collapsing weakly.
He never imagined that he, with his abilities, would be defeated by two young girls.
The sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard, even Robin, who had been frantically wielding her longsword, was momentarily stunned.
Arya seemed surprised that her casual thrust, while fearing Petyr would harm Robin, actually pierced Petyr's chest, causing her to quickly let go.
Jon and his two guards stared in disbelief at Petyr lying on the ground.
"Is Littlefinger dead? I haven't seen the Flying Man yet! Guards, pull Littlefinger to the Moon Gate, I want to see the Flying Man!" Robin realized what was happening and shouted loudly to the guards.
A tall, thin guard knelt down, touched Petyr's neck, and looked at Jon, saying, "My lord, he's dead."
"Where did Petyr get that rapier?" Jon gritted his teeth and questioned the two guards.
He had the two men take Petyr away, but he didn't expect Petyr to get a sword. Petyr not only stabbed Arya, but also tried to assassinate Robin.
The two guards looked at each other, completely bewildered as to how Petyr, whom they were trying to carry out, suddenly had a rapier in his hand.
"That sewing needle is mine," Arya replied, recovering from her initial shock.
"A sewing needle?" Yorn asked, frowning.
"It's that rapier, a gift from my brother Jon. I named it Needle. I never imagined Lord Petyr would steal it," Arya said, clutching her still bleeding arm.
Yorn never expected that Eddard's bastard son would give his sister a real sword as a toy, and almost let Petyr use the sword to hurt Robin.
"I want to see a flying man!" Robin shouted again, brandishing her longsword when no one paid attention to her.
Petyr was dead, but Yorn hadn't expected Robin to still be so determined to get rid of him. Thinking about the King's Landing's questioning he had to face, and Robin's demands, Yorn said with a headache, "Drag Petyr to the Moon Gate and throw him down!"
"Great! I can see flying people again!" Robin threw down his longsword and clapped his hands happily after hearing what Yorn said.
"Sister Arya, come on, I'll take you to see the flying man, you've definitely never seen one before!" Robin saw Arya still in a daze beside her, so she grabbed her hand and walked out of the dungeon.
Arya glanced at Yorn, somewhat bewildered, picked up the sewing needle from the ground, and followed Robin out of the dungeon.
Yorn glanced at Robin's retreating figure and sighed deeply. He needed to quickly inform the other two members of the League of Righteous Men about Petyr's death and discuss with them how to deal with King's Landing's accountability.
......
In Meereen, inside a room, Daenerys was teaching Drogon how to write, gradually finding some time to herself after the busy first day of classes at the academy.
In her spare time, she became obsessed with teaching Zhuo Geng to write. She thoroughly enjoyed the close relationship with him. However, what angered her was that every time she taught Zhuo Geng, he would start off at a relatively serious level, but would start to doze off as he wrote.
In order to be able to talk to Drogon as soon as possible, Daenerys had no choice but to patiently teach him until he fell asleep each time.
On another table in the room, Shirin was absentmindedly looking at the history material she would be teaching the next day.
When she first saw Daenerys teaching Drogon to write, her first reaction was disappointment.
Zhuo Geng's ability to write was originally a secret known only to her, but now it's about to be known by everyone.
My second reaction was to curse Drogon as a little liar. He could write, yet he had Queen Daenerys teach him. What else could he be but a liar?
But she soon realized that Daenerys was holding Drogon's right paw, while she clearly remembered that Drogon used his left paw when he talked to her before.
She didn't know why Drogon wouldn't let Daenerys teach him to write with his left paw, and she remembered how her teacher Tyrion had repeatedly asked her about her journey from Dragonstone.
She asked very detailed questions, and she almost forgot to mention the conversation between Zhuo Geng and her through writing.
She concealed this fact at the time, always feeling that Tyrion wanted to know something secret about Drogon from her, and that secret was very likely related to Drogon's ability to write.
As she was thinking, she saw Drogon dozing off again. This wasn't the first time she had seen him doze off while practicing writing, and according to Queen Daenerys, Drogon would sleep for a long time after falling asleep each time.
