Far back in the tower, viewing the battlefield through a sensory link, Orochimaru's eyes widened in recognition. "A Sharingan? Is the intruder an Uchiha?"
Recognizing the danger of visual genjutsu, Orochimaru wasted no time. Through his mental link, he commanded his reanimated shinobi who immediately unleashed a coordinated Hidden Mist Jutsu, blinding the area in a thick choking fog to obscure the Uchiha's vision. Simultaneously, they launched a flawlessly synchronized physical assault from all angles.
But as their fists and kunai converged on the center, they passed completely through him.
"They... they phased right through him," Orochimaru muttered in disbelief. He opened his mouth to order a continuous relentless assault to test the limits and duration of this ungodly ability, but Obito was already moving.
Obito had spent months searching the world for a specific spirit weapon... a legendary weapon that would make the old man, Madara finally kill himself without complications. It was a weapon of myth and they are a pair of ethereal tools.
From the sleeve of his cloak, a flaming spectral jar materialized, and from its mouth extended a blazing liquid blade.
"The Totsuka Blade," Obito whispered.
With a swift blinding arc, the fiery blade pierced through Jinin Akebino. Before the other reanimations could even register the movement, Obito fluidly spun through the fog. Within the span of a few dozen breaths, the enchanted ethereal blade had pierced all five shinobi. The sealing jutsu woven into the blade acted instantaneously; one by one, the reanimated souls were drawn into the sake jar, doomed to be trapped in a genjutsu world of drunken dreams for all eternity.
Obito deactivated the weapon, looking down at his hand. "An impressive blade..." he thought with a satisfaction. "With this, killing the Raikage will be a certainty."
He looked around the settling mist, his brow furrowing slightly under his mask. "Where is Might Duy? I had hoped to seal him away here as well. His Eight Gates... specifically that Evening Elephant and Night Duy... are proving far too difficult for elite shinobi to bypass."
Back in the Uzushiokage tower, Orochimaru stood paralyzed, completely shocked by the utter annihilation of his vanguard in a matter of few seconds.
Kushina's voice cut through his stupor. "Orochimaru! Speak to me! Give me every detail on his abilities!"
Orochimaru swallowed hard, his mind racing to process the data. "He is an exceptionally powerful Uchiha... possessing extraordinary Genjutsu capabilities. More alarmingly, he can phase through physical matter at will, rendering all form of conventional Taijutsu and Ninjutsu utterly useless against him. And he possesses a legendary spirit weapon, a type of Kusanagi blade... he called it the Totsuka Blade. In a matter of seconds, it completely bypassed the immortality of the Edo Tensei and sealed all five Swordsmen away permanently."

"Orochimaru, teleport back to Kumogakure," Kushina commanded. "Let the Raikage know exactly what we're dealing with. And get at least Bee back here immediately. I'll hold the line."
Orochimaru didn't argue as he gave a nod as he warned. "Keep your distance and make them show their arsenal before commiting, this opponent has a lot of hidden tricks."
With a blur of movement, he flicked away rushing toward the underground chamber of the Uzushiokage tower towards the Teleportation Fuinjutsu array.
Within a few dozen breaths, Kushina had covered the distance and arrived in front of Obito. She immediately flared her chakra manifesting her Golden Valkyrie V2 form. It was a staggering evolution from the version she had used against Orochimaru three years prior. Entering a battle of this magnitude required absolute defense, she weaved an incredible suit of armor over her with shimmering gold and silver chakra solidified into tangible plates.
A sleek, contoured golden breastplate encased her torso, protecting her vital organs. Heavy, plated shoulder guards... as pauldrons flowed seamlessly into fully articulated silver gauntlets that shielded her forearms and hands.
At her hips, large segmented tassets flared outward sharply, sitting over her split blue overskirt to shield her legs without restricting her explosive mobility. It was a majestic and terrifying masterpiece of pure chakra construct.
"What business do you have here, Uchiha?" Kushina demanded as her tone carried a deadly warning.
Obito's visible eye crinkled with twisted amusement behind his mask. "The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki herself, stepping right out to meet me. Today must be my lucky day."
Kushina didn't waste time with banter. Without a movement, she unleashed a massive horde of Adamantine Sealing Chains as they roared forward, tearing through the air. Yet, as they converged on Obito, they seemed to pass right through him, the space warping as the points of impact were transferred into the Kamui dimension.
Obito smirked internally as his strategy was simple: close the distance, touch her, and pull her into his personal dimension. Once trapped inside that isolated dimension, it wouldn't matter how immense her chakra reserves were. Without food or water, she would perish within a month or two. And I can extract Nine tails just before she dies.
But Kushina was incredibly cunning. Recognizing the danger of a close-quarters engagement, she began a tactical retreat, intentionally drawing him out toward the open water. She kept up a relentless barrage of long-range chain strikes, forcing him to constantly cycle his intangibility.
Deciding to shift the momentum, Obito wove a rapid sequence of hand signs.
"Fire Release: Blast Wave Wild Dance!"
He expelled a massive torrent of fire from his mouth while simultaneously activating Kamui to create a localized whirlwind. The swirling spatial vortex acted like a violent gale, catching the flames and causing them to spiral outward in a spinning tempest of heat. The inferno expanded rapidly, threatening to completely engulf Kushina.
"Water Release: Great Water Wall!" Kushina countered instantly. A barrier of churning water erupted from the sea, colliding with the spiraling vortex of fire in a violent explosion of steam.
Taking advantage of the sudden blindness caused by the thick mist, Obito quickly swapped places with a wood clone. The real Obito slipped entirely into the Kamui dimension, erasing his physical presence to bypass Kushina's formidable sensory abilities.
As the wood clone kept Kushina occupied through the steam, the spatial distortion unspiraled behind her. Obito materialized, reaching out his hand to touch her shoulder. Victory was within his grasp.
Except he had underestimated the depths of Kushina's arsenal.
Unbeknownst to him, Kushina had already drawn natural energy into herself, entering Sage Mode. The orange pigmented markings around her eyes appeared, and her physical strength and sensory perception multiplied exponentially. She felt the sudden displacement of air and the malicious intent she sensed from her Negative Emotions Sensing technique, manifesting behind her before he even fully materialized.
