Kushina had mastered the Ice Release Kekkei Genkai, achieving the perfect rapid combination of water and wind chakra and infused with the potent nature energy of Sage Mode, this was no ordinary ice as the molecular lattice structure of the construct was hyper-dense and overwhelmingly cold.
Obito was caught in mid-manifestation as he tried to solidify and grab her, was instantly trapped. A colossal solid dome of ice... measuring a staggering 300 meters in every direction... erupted into existence completely encasing the area.

The freezing temperature was so absolute that it instantly began numbing his nervous system, rapidly locking down his body and even sluggishly freezing the chakra flow to his Sharingan, preventing him from slipping back into Kamui. He was completely immobilized. I have no choice... I have to use Izanagi."
On the surface of the frozen sea, Kushina sank to one knee, gasping heavily for air. The scale of the Absolute Zero Domain had drained nearly every drop of her immense chakra reserves
She looked up at the monumental block of ice, which loomed over the landscape, easily thrice the size of the Nine-Tails itself. Without oxygen, and with his ocular powers frozen solid the moment they made contact, he shouldn't be able to survive or escape.
The frosted air crackled as Obito rewrote the very fabric of his own death. Sitting atop a monolithic block of ice, he exhaled a cold breath completely unfazed by the death. He looked down at Kushina with a mocking amusement.
"You can dance a bit, Kushina Uzumaki," Obito said. "But if you truly believe this is enough to bring me down... to bring down Madara Uchiha... then you are sorely mistaken. I have pressing matters to attend to, but make no mistake: I will return but I must commend you are strong to make me use a portion of my power."
Before he could linger around any longer his sensory network picked up the chakra signatures of Orochimaru, the Third Raikage, Benihime, Killer Bee, Ay, Aya, En Oyashiro, and... most puzzlingly... Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha were rapidly approaching.
"Do they really deem it necessary to deploy this much firepower just to back up Kushina?" Obito thought with a flicker of annoyance. Basically the entire upper echelon of Kumogakure has arrived. They truly are an emotional bunch when it comes to safeguarding their own.
His eyebrows narrowed beneath his mask as he focused on the final two signatures. "But why are the Uchiha clan head and his wife here with them? What could have possibly transpired to bring them into Kumo's fold? I need to investigate this." With a swirl of distortion, the space around him warped, and he vanished into his Kamui dimension and he can't risk his life as he had already used Izanagi and lost his other eye
Shortly after Obito's departure, the reinforcement vanguard landed.
Benihime smirked. "Looks like the little brat has grown up and gotten quite strong," she teased gesturing toward ice colosseum in the sea that dwarfed them.
Kushina surveyed the gathering before her as a warmth filled through her by how far she had come, replaced quickly by and how pathetic their former comrades Konoha were.
"Real friends are the ones who stand by your side when your life is on the line," she thought with smile. This makes Konoha look like a lump of shit.
Mikoto broke away from the group, walking toward her old friend with a concerned expression. "Kushina... you look quite old. What on earth happened to you?"
The two women gave out a firm high-five before pulling each other into a tight hug. As they pulled back, Mikoto's expression turned into one of the serious interrogation. "And when exactly are you getting married? Did you forget about the promise we made?"
Kushina winced slightly, rubbing the back of her neck as she deflected the pressure onto fate. "Well... things got complicated, and honestly, I just haven't found anyone worthy yet."
The Raikage stepped forward as his imposing frame cast a long shadow. "Moving on to the threat at hand. Kushina, is there anything else you want to add about his abilities? Anything beyond what Orochimaru has already detailed to us?"
"For starters, he claimed to be Madara Uchiha," Kushina said in serious tone. "Furthermore, it appears he possesses a Jutsu capable of literally rewriting his own death. I sensed him breathe his last breath, yet he returned to life a moment later. Oddly enough, despite that terrifying ability, his power didn't actually feel all that overwhelming."
Orochimaru let out a sibilant chuckle, shaking his head. "Kushina-san, you are vastly underestimating yourself. Your own reserves and power have grown exponentially since you were successfully implanted with Hashirama's cells. To you, many opponents would seem underwhelming."
Fugaku Uchiha's face was etched with suspicion at the mention of their legendary ancestor. "If he truly is Madara, it might validate something we discovered three years ago. When Kumo arrived in Konoha for the peace treaty, a covert decision was made to reanimate Madara Uchiha to use as a deterrent against the Raikage. However, the Reanimation Jutsu completely failed and the Madara could be actually alive... a fact that Mito, the First Hokage's wife, personally confirmed at the time."
"There's something else," Kushina added recounting the flow of the battle. "He made no genuine attempt to kill me. Every move he made was to restrain and capture me, though I don't quite understand his ultimate objective. Fortunately, fighting out here at sea gave me an undisputed advantage." She paused her eyes narrowing. "I also sensed Hashirama cells within him. Having worked so closely with that genetic material, I recognize its signature instantly."
Before she could analyze the revelation, Kushina stiffened. An alarm rippled through her sensory link. The intricate Uzumaki Fuinjutsu seal array anchored to the seabed... the primary defensive barrier leading toward Kumogakure... had just been shattered.
Killer Bee tilted his head, noticing the change in her demeanor. "Yo, Kushina, what's popping? Why the sudden look of shock on your face?"
"The Whirlpool Seal Array has been completely destroyed," Kushina warned with urgency. "With that barrier down, the Hidden Mist village has a clear unhindered path directly to Kumo. I had hoped to throw a grand welcoming party for the Raikage and the elites for making their very first visit to Uzushiogakure, but now that Kumo is vulnerable to an immediate invasion, you cannot afford to waste another second here."

Fugaku confirms the possibility of Madara and Kushina seems to have no idea how strong she had become.
But why Izanagi worked while Kamui didn't is because he activated Izanagi in his Kamui dimension just in case.
Absolute zero is pretty good hax for Kushina. Since the human body is roughly 60% water, water molecules expand as they freeze into ice crystals. Without protective cryoprotectants, these sharp ice crystals rupture cell membranes throughout every tissue, organ, and blood vessel, causing total cellular destruction at 0K.
Flesh, bone, and soft tissue lose all elasticity and become as brittle as glass. Any physical impact or shear stress would shatter the frozen body into fragments.
