Amon happily cut another piece of steak and stuffed it into his mouth. His eyes practically lit up as he chewed.
"Damn... this is so good."
Marcus, who sat directly across from him, watched his table manners with increasing irritation.
"Boy... You're sitting at a table full of nobles. At least try to eat like a civilized person."
Amon stopped chewing. He slowly looked around the dining table. It was already evening, and everyone had gathered inside the mansion's luxurious dining hall for dinner.
Amon sat beside Scarlett. On his other side sat Seraphina, followed by Adelia.
Across from them were Aisha, Eliana, and Marcus. And naturally, at the head of the long dining table sat Princess Selena.
Amon swallowed his food. Then realization struck him.
"...Wait."
He pointed around the table.
"Now that I think about it... All of you really are nobles. And one being royal."
His expression became increasingly disturbed.
