Chapter 157 - CHAPTER 157

"Kurotsuki Renya, you're finally here."

As Renya stepped into the great hall of Las Noches, a young man with slicked-back hair approached him with a tired expression.

"If you hadn't shown up soon, I really wouldn't have been able to keep these people under control."

The speaker was Ginjo Kūgo. His helpless tone made it clear that things had already slipped beyond his expectations.

Renya smiled faintly. "What? You already told them the plan?"

Ginjo nodded. "You asked me to return to Hueco Mundo, lift Ulquiorra's restriction, and explain your intention to take them in as subordinates. Ulquiorra had no objections… but Harribel and her Fracción strongly opposed it."

"Oh?" Renya turned his gaze toward the tall woman standing calmly ahead. "And why is that?"

Tier Harribel met his eyes without flinching.

"It is impossible for us to serve you," she said coldly.

Renya tilted his head. "You served Aizen Sōsuke. Why refuse me?"

Harribel replied quietly, "I followed Aizen because he saved us. But you are the one who defeated him. I cannot fight for the man who brought his end."

Renya chuckled. "If loyalty were truly your concern, you wouldn't have retreated when the battle ended."

Harribel's eyes narrowed slightly. "At that moment, I had no choice. The other Espada were dead or defeated. Aizen's plan had collapsed. Staying meant certain death. I chose to save my subordinates instead."

She paused.

"That was the best decision available."

Renya nodded. "I agree."

Then he asked calmly, "So you refuse me because you believe I will eventually kill you?"

Harribel shook her head. "If serving you means attacking Soul Society, then our end would be the same. If death is inevitable, there is no reason to accept."

Renya laughed softly. "You misunderstand. I have no intention of attacking Seireitei."

Harribel frowned. "You betrayed Soul Society. Do you think the Shinigami will leave you alone?"

"They won't," Renya replied evenly. "Not easily. But I am not Aizen. My goal is not the Soul King. My methods are different. I move alone, fast, and decisively. Even if they try to corner me, they won't succeed."

He continued, "And as long as I don't provoke them, Seireitei won't strike first."

After a moment, Harribel asked, "Then why do you need our strength?"

Renya's smile faded slightly.

"Because stronger enemies are coming," he said. "And without me, you won't survive what's ahead."

Harribel's eyes flickered.

She did not ask who those enemies were.

"Very well," she said after a pause. "I accept."

Renya shrugged lightly. "Good. Then we'll proceed."

He turned toward the others. "First, I'll restore Nelliel and her companions. After that, all of you will grow stronger."

"Grow stronger?" Ginjo's eyes lit up instantly. "You can enhance us too?"

Renya nodded. "Everyone."

Ginjo smiled. "Then I'm in."

At that moment, Dondochakka and Pesche hurried over, rejoining the group. With Renya at the center, they entered deeper into Las Noches.

The palace was vast beyond imagination. A false sky stretched above them, blue and clouded, rivaling the scale of Seireitei's protective barrier. Endless corridors branched into countless halls.

Harribel led Renya to the former main chamber where Aizen once resided.

Renya seated himself casually upon the white throne.

Below him stood Harribel and her Fracción, Ulquiorra, Ginjo Kūgo, Tsukishima Shūkurō, their companions, and Nelliel's group.

"Wait," Renya said suddenly.

He reached back, pulled a small body off his back, and stared down at her.

"Why are you still there?"

Nelliel yawned. "I was resting. I'm still a child, you know. Don't be stingy."

Renya twitched. "Respect me. I'm effectively the ruler of Hueco Mundo now."

He tossed her aside without ceremony.

Dondochakka caught her hurriedly.

Renya straightened. "I'll ask once more. Are you all willing to follow me?"

"I will obey your orders," Ulquiorra said immediately.

Harribel followed. "As long as we are not treated as expendable tools, we accept."

Renya turned to Ginjo's group.

Ginjo sighed. "You already killed us once. Guess we don't have many options."

Tsukishima nodded. "Your strength surpasses ours. We submit."

Renya's voice hardened. "Understand this

your power will not be used for slaughter. It will be used to protect."

Ginjo paused… then nodded. "That's enough for me."

Renya looked at Nelliel.

She grinned. "Of course I'll follow you. You're small, but strong."

Veins bulged on Renya's forehead.

"Nelliel."

"Yes, Lord Renya~"

He inhaled deeply, suppressed his anger, stood up, and spoke clearly:

"From this moment onward…"

"The Hidden Mobile Force of Hueco Mundo is officially established."
