So we are about to sell the library.
It's a bittersweet feeling. Countless memories with my grandparents and then with Cyrus. The lunches at the nook, the cabinet, the journal—I'll miss everything.
We have emptied it out already, and Madeline will be here anytime soon with all the necessary paperwork. So I, Grandpa, and Cyrus are just standing in the empty library, feeling nostalgic and going through the memories of our own as we look around.
Cyrus suggested we have one last meal together at the nook so we can give a proper farewell to this place. Grandpa was glad and agreed immediately, and Cyrus ordered food.
Since we had already moved the furniture from the library, we sat down on the floor and ate our meal in silence. Thankfully, Grandpa's knees are pretty strong even for his age, so he could sit on the floor without any difficulty.
