"Oliver Jones! How dare you hurt my daughter?" Tom fumes at me, his gaze darkening with fury.
"Hurt? It was a fight. I just fought like I usually do. Not my fault; your daughter's combat skill is shit." I state the obvious, causing him to rage more.
"You think I'm stupid? I saw you aiming for her heart. You wanted to claw her heart out." Tom spits, pointing his finger at me.
"Just like you wanted to with Lyra? How dare you send a hunter after her? That too with an intent of killing her." He snarls at his face.
Tom chuckles darkly. "Oh! So this is about that imposter, huh? Didn't consider you to be such a simp."
I wrap my hands around his throat, tightening them till his face reddens. "Cut the crap, Tom! Killing Lyra was never the plan. So why did you send a hunter after her?"
