Blake tilted his head a little, watching Myles like he was actually expecting an excited yes to come out of his mouth.
But there was nothing, no response.
'Okay… maybe that was too much,' Blake thought, scratching the inside of his cheek with his tongue. 'Maybe I did jump straight into let's wear animal ears together a little too fast. Normal people probably start with like… walking around and stuff.'
Myles just stared at him, at least he didn't look annoyed.
The thing is that it would've been ideal to see him excited, maybe even cracking a smile.
Blake shifted his weight from one foot to the other. "So…?" he tried again, dragging the word out just a bit, like maybe it would magically pull an answer out of Myles.
But he really was stubborn.
'Oh my god, he must hate me now or something. Jokes aside, is he offended or? I think I'm about to get disowned and we're not even related.'
