The park felt louder once they stepped deeper into it.
Not just noise, but layers of noise, more specifically.
Kids screaming, rides creaking, annoying music looping somewhere in the background, vendors calling out deals that sounded suspiciously too good.
Blake walked beside Myles, hands tucked into his pockets, eyes looking around to find the perfect opportunity to make Myles smile.
'Well. This is it. This is where the fun happens. This is where I win things and impress him, too!'
He glanced sideways at Myles.
He still looked fairly uninterested. Which really contrasted with the black cat ears on his head that he kept wearing like it was the most normal thing in the world.
Blake narrowed his eyes slightly.
'It wouldn't be so bad to embarrass him, or at least that's what I used to think, because looking at his face now... tsk, he clearly wouldn't act like a tsundere.'
